Chapter 34 - Bonding & Trust

The next day, Liyuna immediately prepared to go to Sara's studio. Although the sun was not yet visible, he asked Noel to drive him as quickly as possible. Hopefully he manages to persuade Sara to go home and make up with Karl.

Inside the car shrouded in silence, neither Liyuna nor Noel said a word, nor did they even turn on the song. But it did not last long, Noel asked Liyuna a pretty bold question.

"Is Miss okay?" Noel asked worriedly.

When he heard that his Master was going to adopt a daughter, he immediately thought of Liyuna. He felt worried about Liyuna's state when he suddenly heard such news. Noel also could not blame Sara who left without saying a word to Liyuna because she was not in a position to say such a thing.

Liyuna understood Noel's worries. Compared to anyone in her house, she was quite close to Noel because she was her personal driver. But Liyuna did not want Noel to worry too much because somehow, everything had happened and Liyuna felt fine. Yuriel is not a bad hang boy, he is a good boy that is liked by many people because that is what Liyuna feels all will be well. He also believes that he can change Sara's opinion of Yuriel and can make up with Karl. Either way, they are a family with ties. The bond could not be destroyed just like that, Liyuna would definitely make sure of that.

"Sister Noel doesn't have to worry, I'm fine." Liyuna replied with confidence.

Noel who heard that was a little hesitant but he did not say anything because after all only Liyuna understood the difficulties he was experiencing. If he said fine, then Noel would believe him. As a person who would always be by Liyuna's side, Noel could only trust her.

After that short conversation, no one said a word. Both Noel and Liyuna fell silent enjoying the streets of the city that was much quieter than during the day.

Arriving at the studio, Liyuna opened the door by entering a password that she already knew, namely the wedding date Karl and Sara.

Inside the studio, there were lots of clothes on display in the mannequin. Some clothes look unfinished in sewing and there are some dresses that still have to be strung together.

Along the way, Liyuna did not meet any workers, the chances were that Sara asked them to go home and let her be alone.

Actually this is the first time Liyuna went deep into the studio, before she had only ever entered the dressing room and dressing room only. Despite feeling a little foreign and confused, Liyuna still tried to find Sara. He's sure Sara must be in one of the rooms here.

Liyuna's footsteps came to a halt when she saw Sara's figure asleep on a long sofa in the corner of the room. Her jet-black long hair covered her face but Liyuna could see how tired she was. It was possible that Sara could not sleep all night and thought about Yuriel so Liyuna decided to sit on the small sofa not far from there, waiting for Sara to wake up. Liyuna could not bear to wake Sara who looked very exhausted.

But because of waiting too long and Sara did not wake up, Liyuna fell asleep, her small body curled up on the sofa and her eyes closed.

When Liyuna had fallen asleep, she did not know that Sara had woken up. Sara was so surprised when she saw Liyuna who was suddenly in the studio and sleeping on the sofa, but Sara could understand a little why Liyuna was here at the moment. Must be all because of it.

Liyuna was a sensitive child and could read the situation quickly, very similar to Karl hence Sara knew that the daughter she cared about was worried about her.

Sara's long fingers gently stroked the top of Liyuna's head. Her sleeping daughter looks so beautiful and cute, wanting to hug Liyuna but Sara does not want to wake Liyuna up. Sara knew that Liyuna must have come here right away after hearing that she did not come home and would stay at the studio.

Liyuna who felt that someone was stroking her head became awake, she rubbed her eyes slowly and looked at Sara who was smiling gently at her.

"Mama." Liyuna muttered softly, she had not been able to catch what was going on because her life had not yet been collected.

"Yuna dear, why sleep here?" Sara asked in a soft voice, she held onto Liyuna's shoulder.

"I heard from Jenneth that Mama was going to stay in the studio, so I decided to come here."

"Sorry to worry you. Yuna must have been feeling very surprised."

Hearing this, Liyuna shook her head slowly as a sign that she was okay.

"Is Mama still mad at Papa?"

"Yuna herself, how did Yuna feel after knowing that she would have a sister?"

"Yuna was happy, Yuna had been alone all this time, so Yuna was happy that there was Yuri now."

Hearing Liyuna say that made Sara's eyes tear up. He could feel Liyuna's sincerity when he said that he was happy because there was Yuriel, and again Liyuna mentioned the child's familiar name, they must have become close.

"really?"

"Yes, Yuri is a good boy. I'm sure Mama will love it too."

Sara didn't know what to say. She did not hate Yuriel yet she could not like him either. The boy suddenly comes into his family and makes things change, Sara doesn't like that.

"Ma ..." Calling Liyuna, she looked directly into Sara's eyes, showing her determination of what she was about to say soon.

"Trust Papa." Further.

Looking at Liyuna's eyes that were emitting light and strong determination made Sara feel a little embarrassed. Compared to her, Liyuna currently looked more mature in addressing this matter.

From the beginning Sara had trusted Karl, only he felt disappointed because Karl had not told her before about the adoption of Yuriel. Sara did not know the child and Sara did not know where it came from. The boy suddenly came to his little family making him not know how. The evil feelings that even Sara had never had before were like piling up inside her heart, making her unable to think clearly.

'Trust Papa.'

Those words involuntarily made Sara cry. Liyuna hugged Sara tightly because she knew how she felt at the moment. Liyuna wanted to be by Sara's side when she was in trouble because Liyuna knew that the woman who became her mother would also do anything to make Liyuna happy.

"Yuna believes Papa did all of this for a very good reason

Compared to anyone, isn't Mama the one who understands Papa the most?"

Sara could not deny the truth from Liyuna's words. Deep down, Sara trusted Karl deeply. Sara knew that Karl was not someone who would do something without calculation. Yes, Karl must have done all that for a reason and Sara's job right now is to trust every step she makes. Are they not family? The bond they have should not just be broken just because of a momentary fury.

"Mama's sorry, Yuna's been working hard like this."

"It's okay, it's not a problem for me. Yuna's happy that Mama's listening to Yuna."

After the heart-to-heart talk they had done was over, Sara went to the bathroom to wash her face. Afterwards, Sara asked if Liyuna was hungry.

"I'm hungry, Ma. I haven't had breakfast yet."

Hearing Liyuna's honest reply, Sara smiled faintly. He immediately took Liyuna to a restaurant not far from the studio. Sara went to the restaurant in the car she used yesterday to come to the studio. Actually Sara and Karl can drive their own car but because their schedule is quite solid, they hire a driver so as not to be too tired. But because last night Sara wanted to be alone so there was no driver to drive her. He drives himself and takes Liyuna to a restaurant to eat.
