Surviving As The Villainess

Surviving As The Villainess
Chapter 26 - Feelings

Liyuna and Yvette lay their bodies on a king-size soft mattress. They stared at the roof of the room for a few minutes, before Liyuna finally opened her voice.

"Yvette, thank you for being my friend."

Yvette was surprised to hear Liyuna's sudden remark. He did not expect Liyuna to say such random things here. However, Yvette was also pleased to hear what Liyuna said. His heart felt very warm and he could not hide his smile.

"I should have said that. If we look from a position, a person like me might not be able to make friends with a top-ranked elite family like Castris because the distance is too far with Vlisha." Yvette paused her words, she turned to Liyuna for a moment before turning her gaze back to the ceiling of the rooftop room.

"However, what many people consider a dream, can be realized because of Yuna's kindness. So, Yuna doesn't need to thank me." Further.

What Yvette said came from the bottom of her heart. Previously he had never thought of Liyuna and he could be friends. The thought of being friends with a top-ranked family was one that had never crossed his mind before. But that changed when Liyuna extended her hand to Yvette. He decided to destroy the wall that had been keeping people away and alienating Liyuna. She did not care about the consequences because Yvette knew that Liyuna was not a person who liked to do things for no reason.

"Is being friends with Liyuna something that could be considered just a dream?" Unknowingly the question came out of Liyuna's mouth.

Ever since he took over Liyuna's body, he had always thought about it. Although Liyuna was wealthy, she had no friends. Even though she was beautiful, no one wanted to approach her. Liyuna looked like a person who was ostracized and shunned by everyone. Because of that, he was curious and finally got the answer from what he always thought.

'Being with Liyuna is like a dream.'

"Yes, being friends with Yuna is like a dream. Many people thought that Yuna would only be friends with someone in the same position."

"Is that why people stay away from me?"

"True, they were afraid and did not dare to cross the line. Actually it's not entirely their fault. They were acting like that as well because their parents were warning them to be careful in front of Yuna."

Yvette who doesn't seem to care much about such things is actually very observant. He could understand the reason why people were avoiding Liyuna and he felt that everyone had misjudged Liyuna. If only they dared to cross that line, they would know how well Liyuna and Yvette were also confident that they would definitely be greatly helped if they were in trouble because Liyuna would definitely lend a hand to anyone who asked for help and anyone who asked for help ready to be helped.

"Then, thank you for daring to cross the line." Liyuna smiled sincerely. Ever since he got into the world of Red String, he often felt worried and he did not know much about the circumstances here because all he knew was the knowledge in the game only. Fortunately, he was naturally able to speak the language in this country and had no difficulty in writing the letters. It felt strange, but she was grateful. It would be a big deal if he didn't know how to write and speak his mother tongue.

"Yuna." Call Yvette.

"Hmm?"

"If one day, everyone turns their backs on Yuna. I promise to always be by your side, no matter what people say, I will always trust and be on your side."

Hearing Yvette's words, Liyuna was slightly surprised. He remembered that the world revolved around Yuriel and would only side with her. Liyuna who is destined to be a bad woman in the game will have bad luck, as well as Yvette who is always on her side. Yvette who had always defended her from the beginning, Yvette who had always accompanied her from the beginning, and Yvette who had supported her from the beginning would also experience the same. Bad luck would fall on him if Liyuna let everything go according to the game's plot. He wanted that, he did not want Yvette who from the beginning was good to him to suffer bad luck like himself in the game.

But Liyuna also did not want to let go of Yvette's hand. The kindness and sincerity he gave Liyuna, he wanted to hold onto her and continue like that until at any time.

Unknowingly, Liyuna's tears flowed down. He could not imagine a future where Yvette was hurt and a future where she would die. Despite being determined to befriend the targets and consider Yuriel as her family, Liyuna knew that things were not that easy. What's more, before he was in this world, he hadn't finished playing the hidden route. He did not know what would happen to Liyuna inside the route and he did not know how it ended.

Liyuna did not want everything to end just like that. He will try his best to get a happy ending for himself and survive to the end.

Hearing Liyuna who was crying sobbing, Yvette reflexively woke up and saw Liyuna's state. She looked so surprised that Liyuna suddenly cried. As long as she knew Liyuna, Yvette had never seen her cry. Even when she fell down the stairs, she did not cry out in pain. Yvette didn't know what to do.

"Yuna?! Yuna why are you crying?"

Yvette held onto Liyuna's shoulder and saw both of Liyuna's eyes closed and tears flowing from there. Yvette really did not know what to do because Liyuna suddenly cried sobbing.

"I won't let things go the way they should. I will definitely find a way to get a happy ending for everyone." Liyuna muttered very softly but Yvette could hear it because of their close distance.

In the next second, Yvette was again startled by Liyuna.

Liyuna hugged Yvette and held her hands around Yvette's small neck. While crying, Liyuna said "I will try my best."

Yvette who still did not understand what Liyuna was saying could only obey her, "Right, let's try our best."

Despite not understanding, Yvette felt that Liyuna had always harbored her own suffering. He wanted to change all that by changing himself. Yes, Liyuna who is currently different from Liyuna who he first met. Yvette was pleased with Liyuna's good changes and wanted Liyuna to continue like this. He wanted Liyuan to be more honest with himself and not hold everything alone.

Yvette returned Liyuna's embrace and they stayed silent like that for a while until Liyuna finally decided to take off her embrace and wipe her tears.

Liyuna felt a little embarrassed for suddenly crying for no apparent alley reason and made Yvette flustered.

"Sorry." Liyuna.

"It's okay, I'm glad Yuna is going to show me Yuna's true feelings."

Liyuna smiled hearing that, "In that case, I will do it."

After the incident, Liyuna went straight to the bathroom to wash her face. Both of her eyes looked slightly red from crying. Liyuna and Yvette went downstairs to dinner. Because Karl and Sara hadn't come home yet, they had dinner alone.

"Aura Yuna feels very different from before." Yvette said in the middle of dinner.

Liyuna who heard that looked surprised. She did not expect Yvette to say that so bluntly.

"meaning?"

"How to explain it. The Yuna who was then looked very cold and indifferent towards the surroundings. But Yuna who now looks soft but feels very far."

"It feels very far?"

"Hm... That is, looking like someone who just suddenly appeared somewhere and felt very foreign to everything."

Liyuna stopped all her activities. He looked at Yvette carefully in shock at her words. She did not expect Yvette to realize such a thing since it was indeed Liyuna who now had a different soul than the previous Liyuna.

"Is that something bad?" Liyuna tried not to show her surprise and tried to act ordinary.

"Not really, it's even better that Yuna is now because she wants to show what she feels honestly. If it was Liyuna, she always harbored everything alone. I don't like seeing Yuna like that because it feels so lonely."

"Then, I will continue to be Yuna who is like this and will stop worrying you."

"I'm glad to hear that. I will always be honest with how I feel and always be by your side."

They continued to eat dinner in happiness. The two girls were seen chatting and laughing, forgetting all the table manners they had learned and behaving like seven-year-olds in general.
