Raihan drove his car away from Padang's house towards our village. Along the way there was no chatter between us because I was lazy to talk because I was really sleepy.
Slow shaking felt on my shoulder. I slowly opened my eyelids and saw a white house in front of me. The house that I recognize as Raihan's parents' house. Raihan woke me up asleep for how long.
"It's over, baby." Raihan said as he opened his seat belt.
I scrunched my forehead staring at the house." Rai, you.take me to your parents' house?"
"Dear, come home tomorrow.Tonight you and Zain sleep at my mother's house first."
"But why?"
"Because it's late at night to be afraid of disturbing people who've been sleeping in your house."
"But it's the same here as bothering your mother."
"But at least my mother knew that her son and his future wife would come home. Even my own mother suggested bringing you and Zain here."
"Seriously?"
"He'em."
In the middle of the conversation we arrived when the door of the house opened and a middle-aged woman came out. Women who have given birth to great children like Raihan. Then he looked at our car.
"Look, I'm waiting for us to come down." Raihan got down first and opened the back door and lifted Zain up. While I was still sitting on the spot with mixed feelings, between happy, afraid and anxious.
"Honey, come down!" Raihan opened the car door while holding Zain. Though I did not intend to act like a princess and asked the bodyguard to open the car door but rather the nervous feeling I met with Raihan's parents who had proposed to me for his nephew, Andre.
And finally I got out of the car and followed a slow step towards the terrace of Raihan house where the Hajj mother stood while looking at us with a smile.
"You guys just arrived. Why is it so late at night? pity Zain night is on the streets." Said Bu haji. I stared dumbly at him. Didn't expect such a response from us. And I who was initially nervous and tense became a little relaxed then gave a smile and regretted it with reverence.
"Yes ma'am, there's a little business on the way." Raihan gave a reason.
"Yes, let's go to Nuri." Haji ma'am pulled my arm slowly and I complied.
"Sana put Zain to bed in your room Rai, pity."
"Yes ma'am, I'm sorry I put Zain to bed first."
I'm nodding.
After Raihan's departure from before us the hajj ma'am told me to sit on the living room sofa and I complied.
"Excuse me mba, what do you want to drink?" Art Bu Haji arrived and offered a drink.
I smiled at him."Thank you ma'am, but I didn't have to drink on the street."
"Please bring water only three yes just take a plate and spoon." Said Bu haji.
"Yes, Mom."
Before long the Art returned and brought the order of the Hajj and put it on the table.
"Are you again, ma'am?"
"Wait a minute."
Bu Haji took a few pieces of egg dignity using a spoon and placed them on a plate then he gave the plate to his Art.
"This is for you. At the meal the mump is still warm."
"Well, that's pretty steady. I haven't eaten martabak in a long time. Thanks a lot, Mom." Said the Art while smiling widely. Who does not like to be treated well by the employer.
Haji ma'am nodded.
"Why dear." Raihan protest.
"Shame, Rai."
"Ngapain is ashamed of mom anyway. It's okay, ma'am, if we hug in front of mom?"
I looked down in shame while Haji ma'am shook his head just to see his son's behavior to me.
"Sorry mother's child whose attitude said bocil ya Nuri!" Said Bu haji. It was like laughing to hear Bu Haji's tearing for Raihan but I held him back. Raihan bent his face.
"Later if you are married you must patiently face the right attitude of Kanakan Raihan, Nuri." I glanced to the side where Raihan was sitting as well as Raihan glanced at me.
"Am I like a child, baby?"Ask Raihan.
"Sometimes sometimes." Saying it while smiling.
Cup
Raihan kissed me on the cheek in front of Haji. I immediately looked down embarrassed. Raihan really missed kissing me in front of his own mother.
"Look, let me kiss your lips again."
"You're Rai, just play nyosor. Nuri, don't think about it. Mending we eat martabak telor only mumpung still warm.
I nodded then glanced in annoyance at Raihan before picking up a piece of the sloth. Raihan smiled nosily and then took a piece of martabak.
Martabak telor is one of my favorite foods. Back when I was working, after coming home from work I always bought it but after marriage I never ate it again.
Either because I'm hungry or the taste of the hammer is very good on my tongue without feeling I've spent a few pieces of martabak.
"So he told me not to eat now even ngabisin one box." Raihan Syndir.
I who was just about to bite the dignity suddenly fell silent and turned to the martabak box and it turned out that the martabak was only two pieces left. I smiled shyly at the Hajj Maam who was watching me.
"It's okay Nuri spent it. It's still a lot." Said Bu Haji while smiling.
I'm looking down embarrassed.
"Look, I'm just kidding. Spending it is okay. Do I want to buy it again?"
I shook my head quickly.
"Hmm, Nuri!" said Bu haji.
I looked up at him too." Yes, ma'am."
"When you marry who will be your guardian? I'm sorry, I just want to know."
Raihan and I looked at each other and then turned our eyes to Hajj Ma.
"There is a Supri Bu bang, let him be Nuri's guardian."
"But notya Nuri has one more sister named."
"Bang Supra Bu, he lives in Borneo with his family."
"Oh yes Supra. Ehm...but Nuri you don't look alike are both your brothers? The difference is far. Your face is blissful and the color of his skin is very different white with them. Are you descended from your grandparents maybe?"
I'm speechless. What Ms. Haji said was true that I did not have the same physique as my two sisters let alone our character.
"Mom said what the hell. Although one production but it does not have to be the same. For example, the PT majora Company produces bread. But the one produced by the company is not just one type of bread but many types."
What Raihan said was also true. One parent does not always produce the same generation. I was confused thinking about it myself.
