Chapters 17. Kanaya's Explanation of Her Child.

Rendy sat quietly in the room while staring at Kanaya who was pacing back and forth in front of her.

"Mama doesn't know what else to say" said Kanaya who felt dizzy while massaging her temples.

Kanaya then turned her head sharply towards Rendy. "Rendy, try to explain why you were kidnapped. There must be something that made them kidnap you. Maybe it's because you have some system hacking skills?" ask Kanaya to guess.

"Yes, Ma." replied Rendy loudly.

"Yes, now the problem is growing. How could they know? Did you tell him or were you caught off guard?" kanaya asked with a raised voice.

"Sorry, Ma." replied Rendy briefly as she lowered her head.

"I explained one more time, Rendy. Listen carefully. You can't repeat your mistake, don't hack any system. Act like a child in general, do not attract the attention of many people." explained Kanaya

"Then, Ma. Where do we get money if I don't?" asked Rendy with her innocent face and sad eyes.

Rendy only sighed, she did not want to trouble her mother. There was no choice for him other than to comply or Kanaya would get even more angry at him. Rendy hated making her mother cry and shed tears. He was already very grateful that Kanaya still wanted to take care of him alone until now. Kanaya was touched to see her son's behavior, the overflowing anger within her disappeared instantly. Her son's innocent and cute face made his heart calm again.

"Yes, Ma. Rendy understood." said Rendy while hugging Kanaya.

Later that night, Kanaya surprises Rendy. The red laptop that Rendy chose earlier managed to buy Kanaya at a discount. With pleasure, Rendy jumped up and down on the floor.

"Thank you, Ma. Finally Rendy has a new laptop" said Rendy rejoiced.

"I'd rather, I buy it at a discount of up to fifty percent. That's fine." said Kanaya with a big smile.

"But how do you know that this is the laptop that Rendy wants?" ask Rendy.

"That's, I went to the laptop store and they said there was a little kid pointing at the red laptop before being kidnapped. Because I'm sure it's you, I bought this laptop at a discount. They gave it as an apology for not reporting when you were kidnapped and instead just saw it." Kanaya explained.

"Ah, it's appropriate for them to give a discount" said Rendy, nodding her head.

"Then, try wearing it. Is that good?" Kanaya's orders. Rendy quickly opened the laptop using it for some time until finally put a thumbs up to Kanaya.

"It's good that you like it." replied Kanaya instantly.

In a Gilang apartment, Friska went in without permission. He knew what the password of Gilang's apartment was so there was no need to wait for Gilang. After Gilang came, he was surprised to see Friska was already inside his apartment while sitting down to enjoy the juice.

"You're home, baby?" greet Friska.

"I'm your fiancee certainly knows all the ciphers be it your grandmother's house, your apartment, even your cell phone cipher." replied Friska casually.

"Did Reyhan not tell you my decision yet?" said Gilang with furrowed eyebrows.

Friska threw away her drinking glass and hugged Gilang for a moment. "Lan, you can't cancel our wedding. You promised to marry me and we were very close, Lan." Friska begged with tears.

"Friska, I'm sorry. I'm looking for the man I slept with six years ago. If she has a child, I have to take responsibility" Gilang said, pushing Friska's body away.

"How did you know it was him. It could be, he's using you, Lan. Pretend to have a child from you when from someone else." Friska's word does not accept.

"That's enough, you better go home!" the Gilang order was firm. Gilang's mind is still stuck because Rendy was kidnapped earlier.

"Lan, you can fuck me too if it makes you marry me. Do now!" take Friska while pulling her shirt ready to take her off. Gilang is shocked to hear that, he quickly exits his apartment before Friska goes mad over it.

"Superficial, Friska forced me to marry her. Something must have gone wrong, I have to go for a ride." said Gilang who entered his car.

Friska who was so respectful to him, even looked cheap in front of Gilang. This really made Gilang wonder what happened to Friska. Gilang also stayed at his grandmother's house, but before that he changed his grandmother's password because Friska already knew.

Next Day..

Rendy's taking Kanaya to school. In front of the gate, Rendy's friend came over to Kanaya. "Hello, aunt. I'm Rendy's friend Alex" Alex said softly as she extended her hand to Kanaya.

"Kanaya," Kanaya replied with a sweet smile.

"Your mother is young, Ren." praise Alex turning towards Rendy.

"Of course, dong. My mama is gituloh." replied Rendy while filing her thumb.

"Ha ha ha, you're so smart to praise. Am I that easy well," said Kanaya with a red face.

"Ma, Rendy and Alex go inside first. Don't forget to pick up Rendy as you promised" said Rendy, filing her little finger.

"Yes, I won't forget. Already, go in and learn well. You are also Alex." Kanaya orders while gently rubbing Rendy and Alex's hair. Alex's eyes until sparkling, all this time he has never got a sweet touch from a mother.

"Thank you, auntie." said Alex smiling with both eyes wistfully, wanting to cry.

"Together, dear." replied Kanaya before leaving.

"Here you go, let's go in!" rendy's orders while holding Alex's hand.

After dropping off Rendy, Kanaya returned to the cafe that Riani had been waiting for there. "Old, Naya. Kayak is not finished between Rendy alone." protest Riani who bosa waiting since earlier.

"I'm sorry, I stopped by to buy some food first. You don't want to?" kanaya asked as she showed me the black bag she was carrying.

"Well, I would. You're so nice today." said Riani forcefully pulled the bag Kanaya was carrying.
