Chapter 23. Cross Plan

Returning from the streets, Rendy settles into the kosan Kanaya. He closed the door tightly while walking slowly, trying not to make a fuss because Kanaya could have come and scolded him.

"Just home?" say someone with a cold and flat voice.

Rendy looked over quickly with a surprised face. Then approached Kanaya who was standing leaning against the wall with both hands folded.

"Mama, I'm home" said Rendy as usual, holding Kanaya's hand and kissing her.

Kanaya welcomed without a smile at all. After Rendy took off her hand, Kanaya tried to catch her breath preparing to scold her son. However, before that Rendy even spoke which made Kanaya panic.

"Ma, I was kidnapped again" said Rendy who took off her backpack.

"What's? in kidnap? no one was hurt, right?" asked Kanaya who approached Rendy with worry. He checked Rendy's body.

"Almost my heart's gone, Ma. Apparently, the guy we met in the shopping mall, he's a criminal" Rendy explained.

"What's? Didn't the four of them go to jail?" kanaya asked confusedly.

"Not the Aerospace, Ma. But the beautiful aunt who was with uncle Gilang," said Rendy reminded Kanaya.

"Oh, Friska. The president's fiancee was arrogant and stingy." replied Kanaya who understood Rendy's intentions.

"Yes. He's a bad guy conspiring with an evil uncle." said Rendy with his cute mouth. Kanaya jagi was gnarled, not so angry.

"Here you go, you better take a shower. Soon the sun is falling, we just wait for dinner. Later if you want to go, ask permission not to make your mama lose heart." said Kanaya with a voice on the press.

"Ready, ma'am boss." said Rendy saluted and took a towel and went into the bathroom.

Evening came, Kanaya was busy cooking in the kitchen. How many times the fragrant scent was smelled by Rendy, making Rendy's stomach creak for her part.

"Ma, it's still a long time?" asked Rendy with a limp face yet to eat all day while holding her stomach.

"Dead this." replied Kanaya who raised her vow.

"I'm a laper." whine Rendy.

"Who told you to go without breakfast first. I also go home in the afternoon. You do deserve to starve." said Kanaya who served the kale stir-fry she made.

"Awas, Ma. I will fight to grandma loh." threatened Rendy.

"If you want to cook yourself, please. If you want me to cook every day, keep your mouth shut." said Kanaya while looking at her son sharply. Rendy could only step down as a child.

"Well, please enjoy the food" Kanaya told Rendy.

After hearing the cue, Rendy picked up the rice, side dishes and vegetables in a quick motion. Then bribe with a big bribe. Kanaya only realized that her son was very hungry.

"Slow down, Rendy. I don't want to take you racing." - reprimanded Kanaya.

"Yep, Ma." replied Rendy with a full mouth.

"This is how I protect my family" said Rendy in a slow voice with a sweet smile.

Next Day...

Rendy wakes up earlier than Kanaya. Because the rain fell hard to make Kanaya lazy to wake up and even pull the blanket. Rendy takes a bath first, then makes her own fried rice. Because the kitchen was so high up from him, Rendy was forced to take a chair to help him cook. After finishing, Rendy then prepared on the table with two plates. Plus, Rendy made milk for herself.

"Ma, it's morning." whispered Rendy who almost bit her mother's ear.

"What's? Morning already?" Kanaya woke up quickly, looking around the already bright.

"What time is it?" kanaya asked glancing at the clock stuck on the wall.

"Geez, it's six o'clock. Rendy, I haven't cooked yet. How'this? You don't have to eat, just go to school. Later if you come home from school just eat." proposes Kanaya.

"No, No, No. I've cooked fried rice. Mama should also have breakfast and then go to the cafe." said Rendy who ran to take her fried rice.

"Smart kid, you can be relied on" Kanaya praised.

"Let's eat" said Rendy who drank her milk first. Kanaya was surprised, she could not milk and Rendy made milk just for herself.

"Rendy, where's milk for mama?" ask Kanaya.

"Nothing, mom's grown up so don't need milk anymore. Only Rendy can drink milk." replied Rendy casually while enjoying her milk making Kanaya envious.

"Bas with a strange child, my time was forbidden to drink milk." Kanaya protested but she did not want to scold Rendy because her son had helped this morning.

'It's okay, I'm angry next time.' Kuman Kanaya smiled cunningly.

Meanwhile, in the company Bintang group, Gilang gathered all the important staff. Emergency meetings were also held.

"Today, there's some shocking news for all of you. From this second, this minute, and this hour, I will examine all your work closely. I suspect among you there is one traitor working with another businessman. Just look, after I found that traitor, I definitely finished him without mercy in the least." said Gilang firmly that to the point of making everyone shiver.

"Rey, check the cctv camera at the hotel. Make sure you get it before Friska because I'm sure she'll remove it so we don't suspect it." Gilang ordered after coming out of the meeting room.

"Good, sir."

"Don't forget, Rey. Find out who sent me the email yesterday. I wonder where he got the recording of the voice and who he really is." said Gilang Wijaya who was curious.

"Look down, I told Alvin to take care of it." Reyhan said.

"You meet Mizuki and make a plan. I'll wait in my room. I'm sure Friska will be here soon." said Gilang who walked into the elevator. Reyhan turned left towards Mizuki's room.

Gilang was almost trapped last night by Friska and her co-worker, Azal. Had it not been for Rendy's recording, Gilang wouldn't have known all this. As a result, Gilang followed Friska's plan even though he knew it was a trap. Gilang only wants to show himself if no one is allowed to play around with him.

"We'll see how it ends, Friska" said Gilang, who clenched his hands tightly. He begins to be disgusted to cross paths with Friska even though he used to spend time with Friska. But hearing all Azal's confession from the tape, Gilang immediately boarded the apoplexy. During this time, he was involved in Azal and Friska's game which made him a target.
