Chapter 45. Accident

Kanaya just returned from the cafe and headed straight for Gilang's apartment. He immediately entered because he already knew the password of Gilang's apartment. While inside the apartment, Kanaya is surprised to not find Rendy.

"The boy's permission to go home because his head hurts, and he's not even here. Is he still in the cafe?" asked Kanaya who was getting anxious.

Soon night will come and Rendy will not be home. Kanaya also tried to contact her son. "Hello, Ren. Where are you? My mom is in the apartment. You're invisible?" kanaya asked while looking over there and here thinking that her son was hiding from her.

"I'll be there soon, mama don't have to worry" Rendy said across the phone.

"Where have you stopped? Did you go home early?" ask Kanaya.

"Sorry, Ma. I'll tell you when I get home" Rendy said in a slow voice from across the phone.

"Hurry home, don't make me wait. Watch out if you come home late" Kanaya said, threatening Rendy.

Not long after, there was a loud crashing sound from Kanaya's phone.

Brakes.. Brakes.. Duuaar...

Kanaya was surprised, trying to hear it well. The feeling is starting to feel bad. "Hello, Rendy. You're still there, right?" ask Kanaya.

"Rendy, where have you been? What was that noise?" asked Kanaya who was getting panicked. It's not usually Rendy doesn't say.

Kanaya grew even more panicked when she heard the sound of the crowd and police car sirens. Not long after, Kanaya's call was interrupted. When Kanaya calls Rendy back, Rendy's number is off.

"Why didn't he pick it up? Is there a problem there?" ask Kanaya who can't concentrate. After contacting Rendy many times and still being inactive, Kanaya immediately ran out of Gilang's apartment. He and Gilang met in front of the building.

"Kanaya, where are you going? It's such a rush, Rendy why don't you come with me?" tanya Gilang made Kanaya stop and turn to Gilang.

"Wire, arrogant president. Rendy's in trouble!" said Kanaya who panicked.

"What's? Rendy's in trouble? He's dealing with that explosive device again?" asked Gilang with bulging eyes, surprised to hear Kanaya's words.

"I don't know what the problem is, which obviously Rendy suddenly hangs up her phone call for no reason. I heard police sirens and the sound of the crowd. It seems like Rendy is in trouble." Kanaya tried to explain to Gilang.

"Then, where is Rendy?" ask Gilang to panic.

"I don't know, but before that incident Rendy had said that she was almost there" Kanaya recalled.

Reyhan suddenly gets out of his car with Mizuki. "Wire, Gilang. There's a new problem!" reyhan shouted with a panicked face.

"Do you know where Rendy is right now?" asked Gilang while looking at Reyhan and Mizuki who ran up to him.

"Rendy's missing?" mizuki was surprised.

"I think only grandma got kidnapped, Rendy got kidnapped too?" reyhan asked as he looked at Gilang with a confused face.

"Alright, I'll find Rendy first. You two immediately find out about the man who kidnapped Grandma. Let me know if you get any information." said Gilang who was greeted with a nod by Reyhan and Mizuki.

Gilang quickly pulled Kanaya's hand away to accompany her. They walked every street near his apartment. Suddenly, Kanaya's eyes rounded seeing many people crowding the side of the road.

"The president is arrogant, there are many people. Maybe Rendy was there too." point to Kanaya with a sigh of relief. He'll be seeing Rendy soon.

Kanaya ran first to the crowd. Break in looking for his son. However, Kanaya did not find Rendy despite searching around the crowd.

"I really feel sorry for the little boy, how could he hit a little boy who doesn't know anything" one of the mothers said.

"Yes, right. The little boy was about to cross and got hit. Wrong in the driver of the car, had seen the red light, did not want to stop too" said the mother next to him.

"Pity that poor boy. Honestly, I'm not sure if he's safe." the others added.

Kanaya immediately turned around and approached the three mothers who were gossiping on the side of the road. "Excuse me, are you talking about this tall little boy, wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and pants to the heels of brown feet, then wearing white tights?" ask Kanaya who gave Rendy criteria.

"I didn't get to see what his shoes were tied or not. But the color is white. And for his shirt, white. If it's his pants, I don't know I don't remember. Because the blood has flowed everywhere and I was shocked to see it." they replied.

"Let's remember, I'm looking for my son who's said to be here" Kanaya said.

Gilang suddenly came while patting Kanaya on the shoulder from behind. "Rendy's not here." whispered Gilang.

"Oh, I remember her hairstyle like the man behind you. Same perspective before he had an accident." point one of the mothers towards Gilang.

"That's right Rendy, how is this? Why Rendy had to crash. Is it because I called her?" kanaya said that menagis sobbing. Her tears flowed hard.

"Where was he taken?" ask Gilang.

"At the hospital near here. Just now the ambulance came to pick him up." replied the compact mothers.

Kanaya quickly ran, she knew which hospital the mothers were talking about. His footsteps did not even feel tired at all. Gilang followed Kanaya from behind.

After they reached the hospital, Kanaya headed straight for the nurse who was there. "Excuse me, did I hear there was an accident victim brought here just now?" kanaya asked, stopping in front of the nurse. Gilang listened while standing behind Kanaya.

"Which victim is ma'am, because there were many victims of the accident who just arrived" said the nurse with a friendly smile.

"The victim is a little boy named Rendy" said Gilang.

"If there is a child. He is currently on the run to the ER due to heavy blood loss. You and mom should check..." The nurse paused when she saw Gilang and Kanaya had already run.

"Yes, you should listen to my words as a whole so as not to be confused later" said the nurse who was upset.

In front of the ER, Kanaya and Gilang paced back and forth waiting for the doctor to come out. Kanaya's hand continued to tremble, afraid that it would be Rendy's right. Moreover, what the mothers said was very similar to the criteria of Rendy.
