Chapter 54. The rottenness of Ramadan

At Rani's grandmother's house, Kanaya sits while lighting a tivi. Kanaya then looked around at the siara she liked. When he found it, Kanaya took off the tivi remote on the table and nodded with a serious face. Suddenly news emerged about the kebakan in the cafe Wins. Kanaya begins to panic when she sees a video recording of Rendy appearing there.

"Randy!" kanaya shouted loudly making grandmother Rani and Reyhan immediately out of their room and approached Kanaya in front of the tivi.

"What's up, Kanaya. You're yelling so loud?" asked Rani's grandmother who looked at Kanaya's face. Reyhan looked serious looking at Kanaya, but Kanaya's gaze focused forward made Reyhan glance at tivi at a glance. Reyhan was surprised by the video.

"That's a Wins cafe, there's a fire there. Is Rendy okay?" reyhan asked while pointing forward to make Grandma Rani come to see him.

"Why do you just shut up, quickly come over there and save my dear great-grandmother" Rani said as she patted Reyhan's shoulder loudly. Kanaya runs out of Rani's grandmother's house. He took a taxi that happened to pass by.

Five minutes later, Kanaya saw her make it to the win cafe where police cars and fire engines were already there trying to ward off the flames that continued to spread.

"Sir, is my son out of the inside?" kanaya asked one of the firefighters standing not far from her.

"Who is your son and where is he located? On the second floor, I don't think he's down yet. We just tried to keep the fire on the stairs and the elevator can not be used" explained the extinguisher.

"Geez, Rendy." Kanaya said with her hands closed her mouth. He did not expect again his son was caught in a big problem.

After seeing that everyone who had just come out of the win cafe and Rendy was not there, Kanaya barged in making everyone shout at her.

"Don't come in, danger!"

"Hey, don't try to kill yourself. It's in real danger!"

Kanaya did not care about the screams of the citizens, she still ran in and up the stairs despite the flames being all around her. "Rendy, wait for me. I must have come to your rescue" said Kanaya, who remained focused on stepping up the stairs and trying to avoid burning wood chips.

On the second floor, hundreds of people were still huddled waiting for the rescue team. Rendy, who was unconscious, lay on the floor without anyone to care. Suddenly someone's hand pulls Rendy's leg and takes her to a safe place, which has not been devoured by fire.

"Hey, bad boy. Get up, just passed out. Quickly fight me like a very brave behavior when with your mother." said the man who hit Rendy's cheek many times to wake up.

Rendy opened her eyes slowly, trying to see who the person before her was. Rendy then poked her eyes to make sure. "Uncle?" asked Rendy after being convinced what she saw was true Ramadan.

"Why? You surprised?" say Ramadan with a dislike view on Rendy.

"It's easy enough to take yourself out of this world, but why can't most people do it until I have to step in?" ramadhan said, smiling wryly at Rendy.

"What do you mean, uncle?" said Rendy in a slow voice. His energy has not fully recovered.

"You wanna know? Do you remember why you came here? I called you and now you're caught in this fire that's gonna devour your body any minute. Do you know if I made this fire?" say Ramadan while standing and pacing back and forth in front of Rendy.

"Did uncle want to kill me here?" ask Rendy who understands the meaning of Ramadan.

"Yes, you're right. I want to kill you, but not use my hands. The police might consider this a murder if I did. So I set up a fire and the police won't suspect anyone will kill you on purpose" Ramadhan smiled sweetly at Rendy.

"Why? want to protest, complain or not accept? take it all out because it will also no longer exist in this world. I will take your mother from your arms." said Ramadan, laughing out loud. He was satisfied with her who managed to trap Rendy.

Ramadhan then pulled Rendy's hand by force, lifting Rendy's tiny body ready to throw her into the flames. However, Kanaya's voice brought Ramadan to a halt. He quickly took down Rendy, afraid that Kanaya would see him.

"Senior!" shouting Kanaya.

"Oh my goodness, Rendy. You all right? Is anyone sick?" ramadan said while examining Rendy's body.

"Already senior, I already know everything. You really have the heart with a child to the point of wanting to burn my own child, I will not forgive you" Kanaya said with a red face, indicating she was angry.

Ramadhan was shocked, apparently Kanaya heard all his words earlier. Ramadhan pulled back Rendy's limp body and retreated slowly, further away from Kanaya.

"Senior, let go of my son! Don't fuck around, I can kill you if you hurt him!" the threat of Kanaya while pointing at Ramadan's face with glaring eyes.

"You know everything, why I let Rendy go. Better my plan from the beginning I still run. Aren't we?" say Ramadan.

"You crazy?" kanaya shouted in disbelief.

"Yes, I'm crazy about this kid. I always try to get close to you but your son is always in my way. I couldn't take it anymore and wanted to kill Rendy. I planned all these fires to kill Rendy!" ramadhan shouted loudly making Kanaya even more panicked. It is clear that Ramadan is so desperate to do so.

"Senior, honestly I love you so much. But I try to wait for the right time to reveal it. I also want to convince Rendy that you're so nice. So, please don't do that" said Kanaya, who tried to prevent Ramadan from throwing Rendy's body into a blaze not far from her.

"Ma.. Ma.." said Rendy in a slow voice. He seemed to have no power to rebel and speak. He was really weak this time.

"Senior, I beg you very much. Please let go, Rendy. He is not wrong." said Kanaya pleading to try to persuade Ramadan.

"No, I'll take Rendy away for good. You better get away from me and go save yourself." said Ramadan before jumping into the flames along with Rendy.

Kanaya screams hysterically, wanting to jump to save Rendy but Reyhan manages to get to and hold Kanaya. "Don't jump in there, your body can burn!" Reyhan.

"But, Rendy..." Kanaya was not strong enough to stand up until she knelt down in tears.

"Calm down, I'll go down and help Rendy. You better wait outside." said Reyhan who looked back, giving a code to one of the firemen to take Kanaya.

"No way, I want to be with Rendy" Kanaya said in rebellion.

"Kanaya, trust me. I'm pretty sure Rendy's alive. The fire down there was not very big, it was likely that Rendy's small body managed to dodge it. You have to obey and go down the stairs." Reyhan explained, suppressing his words so that Kanaya would understand.

"Please, sir. Get him out of here, I'll get off. Please give me that extinguisher" Reyhan said.
