Chapter 53. Fires

As night falls, Kanaya and Rendy are standing at the door of Gilang's grandmother's house. They planned to stay at the home of Gilang's grandmother because Gilang grandmother kept calling Rendy and missed her favorite great-grandchild.

"Oma, I'm coming!" randy shouted as he just stepped in. Kanaya followed behind her son.

Rani and Reyhan's grandmother immediately greeted the two of them. Grandma Rani hugged Rendy very tightly.

"Oma must have missed me so much, because we haven't seen each other for almost three days" said Rendy, smiling.

"Omma misses you so much. Because he missed Oma's favorite great-grandson, Oma to ask you and your mama to come stay here." explained Grandma Rani while staring at the faces of Rendy and Kanaya alternately.

"Miss, let me prepare dinner. Grandma should just rest with Rendy." said Kanaya who rushed to the kitchen.

"No, we'll cook together. Grandma also wants to cook with grandma's daughter-in-law." said Rani's grandmother who followed Kanaya to the kitchen. Kanaya smiled happily as well.

Rendy and Reyhan sit opposite each other on the living room couch. Rendy started the conversation.

"Uncle Reyhan knows about the Clady Group company?" ask Rendy for a moment.

"Clady Group? I don't think I know much about the new company. Why the hell?" reyhan asked back while looking at Rendy investigating.

That person was Friska's own brother." insisted Rendy which made Reyhan surprised. Not because Azal was in prison, but Rendy knew very well where all that information came from.

"Who did you hear?" asked Reyhan who now turned to look at Rendy with a look of wonder.

"I only see from the news." replied Rendy who lowered his tone.

"Oh, why don't I know about this? Did you miss the news?" said Reyhan who got up while pulling his phone that had died earlier. Reyhan turned on his phone and saw a message from Gilang.

"Rendy, wait here. I want to call Gilang first." Reyhan ordered while pointing at Rendy. Rendy only replied with a nod and then shifted focus to his laptop that he had brought.

"Uncle doesn't even know about the Clady Group company. It's so hard to find the information, is this guy really smart and smarter than me?" said Rendy who scrolls her laptop.

Suddenly, Rendy gets a job for him that does not attach from which company. When Rendy replies to him and asks, the guy just says if Rendy should come alone at the Wins cafe.

[What should be tonight?] reply Rendy who is typing fast from her laptop.

[Sorry, uncle. Can I know your name? Where did my uncle get my number?]

[Yes, fine, uncle. I'll be there soon, see you at the Wins cafe.]

Rendy ends the chat and closes her laptop. He prepared to go to the Wins cafe immediately. While the person who sent the message instead smiled happy to see Rendy's reply. "Well, I'll see you there too. Hopefully I can see you." he said with a good laugh and then got up and pulled his black clothes. Rushed away before Rendy came first.

"Hey, Rendy. Where are you going? How about we get the bag again?" kanaya asks who came to Rendy after finishing wrestling in the kitchen with Rani's grandmother.

"Oh, I have a sudden affair outside, Ma. Ordinary, get an impromptu job." whispered Rendy to Kanaya.

"really? Is your salary high this time?" said Kanaya who was happier than Rendy.

"If it's about salary, Mama is immediately excited." said Rendy with a smile to see the happy face of Kanaya.

Kanaya counted with her fingers while rounding her eyes. He hugged Rendy. "Rendy, work well so that your salary is higher. Mom is proud of you!" kanaya's words gave Rendy some spirit.

"Ready, Ma. Then, Rendy immediately went to the Wins cafe. Later when it's payday, we divide the two results" said Rendy while walking out of Rani's grandmother's house.

"Yes, I'll be patient waiting for your salary!" kanaya shouted, putting on a happy face. Rani's grandmother comes out to take Rendy to eat together, but she doesn't see Rendy.

"Rendy where, Kanaya? Is she asleep?" asked Grandma Rani who looked at Kanaya money standing with a smile.

"That, Grandma. Rendy again came out, he again there is a little sustenance." said Kanaya with a sparkling face thinking about Rendy's salary.

"You mean?" ask Rani's grandmother who became confused.

"Kanaya, where's Rendy? Gilang wants to talk to him, he said it's an important matter" said Reyhan who suddenly came while carrying his phone.

"Rendy just left, she went to the Wins cafe because she got an impromptu job" Kanaya replied bluntly.

"Sudden work? Rendy works what?" reyhan asked who was confused. After all, Rendy did not have any work because she was a child. But hearing Kanaya speak like that, made Reyhan and Rani's grandmother shocked to death.

"That, you can ask Rendy directly. I find it hard to explain." said Kanaya, who chose to leave before being forced to tell them.

Meanwhile, in another place, Rendy was pacing back and forth looking for the person who sent her the email. He didn't manage to find her. Even when Rendy asked the cassier, he only said if no one had ordered the table on Rendy's behalf.

Rendy walks down the stairs, intending to go home. Suddenly an explosion rang out and sparking flames spread throughout the Wins cafe. Everyone ran outside trying to save themselves, making the small-bodied Rendy pushed there and redeemed the crowd.

"Excuse me, there's a little boy here. I have to go out too." said Rendy who tried to hold herself back because her breath began to clutter trapped in the crowd of adults.

"Mama, help Rendy!" rendy shouted as he grew weak, unable to breathe. His sight also began to blur in addition to the smoke that surrounded making it difficult to breathe and there were still many people trapped on the second floor.

Ting.. The Ring.. Ting.. The Ring..

Only that voice was heard in Rendy's ears before she lost consciousness completely. Rendy's body fell down among the crowd.
