Chapter 3. First Meeting

Kanaya returned to the shopping mall with a lethargic face. He actually objected to going back, but Rendy insisted. When the two of them got in front of the casier, Rendy then thrust her atm card. "Excuse me, I heard you turned down our atm card?" asked Rendy with her adorable face.

"Have you finished shopping here, Dek?" asked one of the casiers by crouching looking at Rendy's face with a smile.

"It's not me, my mama." point Rendy towards Kanaya.

Kasier's face looked surprised. He immediately approached Kanaya who was trying to hide herself. "Oh, you're the guy that the security guard was after?" said the kasier. Withstanding the embarrassment, Kanaya nodded confirming.

"I'm sorry, it's not really your broken atm. Our computer's in trouble." explained the casier, holding both hands of Kanaya. Kanaya is shocked, finally the truth is revealed. He wants to clear his good name.

"I want to forgive you, but you also have to clear my name with the arrogant person I met earlier. He was wearing a black suit with a creepy face." Kanaya said instantly.

"You mean, the president?"

"Yes, tell him if I can afford my groceries. But because of your mistake, everything got messed up. I was accused of wanting to shop but not having any money" Kanaya said in a raised voice.

"What is the president here?" Rendy interrupted his conversation.

"Yes, right. He is the president of Bintang group, the owner of this shopping center. I don't dare talk to her, you know my job is just a casier here" said the female casier, bowing her head.

"Let me tell her" Kanaya said stubbornly.

"Where is the arrogant president?" kanaya asked back to look towards the casier.

"I.. That's, he's right up ahead." point out the casier. Quickly, Kanaya walked up to him. While Rendy, curious what kind of president Bintang Group. Rendy also follows Kanaya.

The President looks like he's talking to a beautiful, sexy woman. He looks like the president's girlfriend. Shamelessly, Kanaya came to him. He doesn't know who he's dealing with.

Everyone looked at Kanaya. Many of the people shook their heads, thinking that Kanaya was a madman shouting impolitely to the president.

"You again, thief?" sahut the president.

"What's? Thief said? Hey, I came here to straighten out what happened. It's just a misunderstanding. That casier computer has a problem so it says my atm is broken. Hence, I ran away from embarrassment later in thinking I wanted to shop but had no money." Kanaya clearly with a quick voice.

"Oh, baby. Who else is this crazy person, it doesn't matter." said Friska, Gilang Wijaya's fiance.

"Something out, he takes care of the unimportant" Gilang said as he walked away from an already emotional Kanaya.

Instantly, Rendy and Gilang's gazes met a glimpse. "It's not wrong, he's my papa" Rendy said in a slow voice. Rendy's instincts and his views were almost the same, making Rendy very sure. Rendy knows him very well, of course, knows what his papa looks like.

"Papa's face is handsome, but strangely why can't you remember his handsome face?" said Rendy who continued to watch Gilang Wijaya walk while holding Friska's hand.

"That arrogant president, he's really brash. Just watch out if he shows up again in front of me, I make his life miserable" said Kanaya who was emotional.

"Already, Ma. Let it go, don't let your mom hate her too much. Hate and love are only different." said Rendy reminded.

"I love her? Ha ha ha, is there really no man besides him in this world? You are Rendy, your mind is still a child." replied Kanaya.

"Why are you suddenly asking like that?"

"I'm just checking something. It could be, mama felt familiar with him as if she had passed him or close to him." explained Rendy once again and Rendy's face looked serious waiting for Kanaya's answer.

"Yes, his face is so handsome. And that arrogant voice, it sounded familiar. But I'm pretty sure I've never met him. Why are you asking?"

"Not really, Ma." replied Rendy quickly.

"Yes, let's go home. I took my groceries first." said Kanaya who ran to the cassier.

"Finally, I found you papa. Look, I'll make you realize that we both have similarities. And later, you'll find out for yourself who I am and who my mom is" Rendy said.

In the evening, Rendy is busy video calling with her grandmother in the village. "The situation here is fine, Grandma. I'm going to school tomorrow." Rendy said with a smile towards the camera.

"really that? Kanaya didn't make grandmist bother, did she?" ask Grandma Rendy from across the phone.

"Yes, Grandma."

On the other hand, Kanaya crossed her hands while looking at Rendy who was on a video call with her mother. Kanaya stared intently, code Rendy not to complain about anything strange.

"Cafe Wins, isn't that close from here, Ma?" ask Rendy.

Kanaya was surprised, she quickly got up trying to chase after Rendy. But Rendy's energy and energy were strong enough to run fast.
