Chapter 55. Home From Outside the City

Reyhan comes down and tries to find Rendy. If there is a fire blocking his way, Reyhan moves quickly to extinguish the fire. He gets even more anxious when he doesn't find Rendy everywhere. "Well if Rendy doesn't see me, I'm not just angry with one or two people, but four people at once. Gilang would have been more angry with me" Reyhan said thinking for a moment.

Reyhan remained focused on looking for Rendy, this time his face became more serious than before. When Reyhan tried to walk down the stairs, he managed to find Rendy lying by the door all alone. Reyhan ran up to him and took Rendy out quickly. Rendy's clothes began to change color because they had been exposed to fire when they fell.

"Please help me!" yelled Reyhan who went up the stairs looking for help. He can't carry a fire extinguisher because he has to carry Rendy's body. Luckily, when Reyhan shouted, there were two firefighters who were putting out the fire. They went down to find Reyhan.

"Here, sir. Help me and my niece." Reyhan said, waving his hands.

The two men then took Reyhan and Rendy out of the fire. Kanaya, who was waiting from outside, immediately rose when she saw her son's body carried by the damkar officer.

"Hurry to the ambulance, my niece has to be taken to the hospital!" reyhan's orders give way to the damkar officer who carries Rendy's body.

"Rendy, are you alive? Don't leave mom, Rendy. Open your eyes!" kanaya said while patting Rendy's body to see her son awake. But Rendy was still comfortable closing her eyes and not snapping at all making Kanaya even more panicked and anxious.

"Thank you, sir. I'll double your pay for helping me." Reyhan said before boarding the ambulance. The two officers smiled at Reyhan.

Arriving at the hospital, Reyhan's phone rang. Reyhan had to lift it because it was from Gilang. "Kanaya, don't be noisy. Anyway, don't let Gilang know what happened to Rendy" Reyhan said, reminding Kanaya.

"Why?" kanaya asked with her sad face.

"Look out of town, he won't know about it. So if he finds out, everything's gonna go horribly wrong. I got a gift instead of money and you'll be stamped as a useless mother. So it's better if Gilang doesn't know." Reyhan said. Kanaya just nodded, she was lazy to argue and ask Reyhan more deeply.

"Yes, Lan? What's up, Tumben called again. And just now we finished talking." said Reyhan pleasantries.

"Where are you now? Why did you pick up my phone so long!" said Gilang who was upset from across the phone.

"Oh, I'm home. Where else?" replied Reyhan who tried to relax so that he would not be caught by Gilang.

"Don't joke. I saw that the Wins cafe was on fire, didn't I?" tanya Gilang made Reyhan nervous. He doesn't know what to say.

"Yes, then?"

"Then what? Hey, Rey. I saw if Rendy was there. You also told me that Rendy was going to the Wins cafe. Now the cafe's on fire and you're at home. I'm tired of living!" shouting Gilang with a loud voice made Reyhan keep away a little of his phone.

"I know." replied Reyhan.

"Then? How's Rendy doing? She's okay, right? Watch out if my son gets hurt, you will really get a gift that you will never forget." said Gilang firmly making Reyhan shiver to hear it.

"Rendy's fine, trust me" Reyhan said, hanging up his phone in a hurry. Reyhan's face suddenly sprouted, he then sat near Kanaya with trembling legs.

"What did Gilang say? Is there a problem?" asked Kanaya who saw Reyhan's face change.

"It's a big deal, if Rendy does not let me live again" Reyhan said with a sad face.

"Then where is that guy? he must be taught a lesson for daring to make Rendy hurt." Reyhan said. He looked at Kanaya seriously.

"She should still be inside the Wins cafe. He's gonna jump in with Rendy and you're just taking Rendy out of there?" kanaya answered who was just guessing.

"But I didn't see a single person there. Only Rendy lies alone." Reyhan ordered.

"So you mean, Senior managed to survive and escape from there? I won't let it go, I have to report to the police so he can catch her" Kanaya said as she got up from her seat.

"Hey, you better focus on keeping Rendy. If it's for revenge, leave it all to me and Gilang. The culprit won't be able to get away from us" said Reyhan who calmed Kanaya down.

"Hufft, I'm really sorry to know the senior" Kanaya said as she breathed out countless times, regretting with herself.

The night turns into the morning and the stars are replaced by the sun. Sunlight began to pierce into the room of a patient who was in a hospital. When the door opened, two men walked up to the patient. "Are you okay, sir?" ask one of the two.

"Well, how's the kid doing? Is he dead? The body's buried?" ask Ramadhan while looking at his bodyguard's face.

"Sorry, sir. We tried to block people from getting into the place where the boy was, but one of the men managed to break in with one of the soldiers. He seems like an influential person so that the damkar officer was seen according to." he explained.

"You guys are not working very well. I'd almost die if no one saved me first. Stupid jerk. We won't have a second chance to kill the boy again" said Ramadan, who was angry and threw things nearby.

"Sorry, sir. We don't think anyone would dare go in there looking for the boy." one of them said.

"What's? So you guys think like that? Next time, use your brain when you think, not just your muscles. The Gilang family or Kanaya must have been trying to break in to save Rendy. So, you guys should think that way and find a way to block them from entering!" ramadan is getting angry.

"Yes, sir, sorry. We don't know." said the two bodyguards, looking down, feeling guilty.

"If there is no tofu, use tempe. Quickly get out before I get stressed." Ramadhan orders while turning his back to the window.

The two men ran out before Ramadha changed his mind. "I'm sure, Rendy must not be conscious at this time. Gilang will get angry and find out who the person who made his child like that. I stayed waiting at my place until Gilang got into my trap. And for Kanaya, I can take care of it at the very end. He is very easy to deceive raw." explained Ramadhan who smiled happily. His face was no longer scary.

At the airport, Mizuki and Gilang walked in a hurry. They immediately returned from out of town after hearing the state of Rendy from his men. "How dare Reyhan lie to me." said Gilang who put on his creepy face.

"Lan, are we going straight to the hospital where Rendy was treated or stopped at your apartment used to stray your things?" ask Mizuki.

"Go to the hospital and you stop by my apartment straying my belongings." perinrah Gilang who runs faster than Mizuki.

"Alright, I will not protest because your mood is not good" said Mizuki who walked quickly to catch up with Gilang.
