Chapter 67. Rama's Persuasion

"You want to help my company, right? I'll give you a lot of money if you give me Gilang company data." said Rama who went straight to the point.

"What do you mean, Uncle?" asked Rendy who pretended not to understand.

Rama took out a paper on which Rendy's name was written. Rendy was surprised where Rama got it.

"You must be astonished and think where do I get it? Nothing is impossible for Rama. If this paper were to fall into Gilang's hands, he would definitely be very angry with you. The person who has seized the Gilang company data is his own adopted son" said Rama who tried to persuade Rendy to submit to him.

Rendy kept quiet, focused on thinking and finding a way out of her problem. Rama takes this opportunity to make Rendy confused. "You want Gilang out of the police, right? I can do it as long as you grant my request. Deal?" rama said, extending his hand. Rendy grabbed it with a trembling hand.

"Good, uncle. So when did uncle come and retrieve that data?" ask Rendy back.

"Tomorrow. You came here to give me Gilang company data. Tonight, I'm pulling my report out of the police station" Rama said.

"Okay, tomorrow I'll give it to our common good. Watch out if uncle breaks a promise, I'll never forgive uncle" Rendy threatened.

Rama was not afraid, but anxious. He did not expect a child as small as Rendy could pose a threat to him as well.

Gilang stopped walking when he saw his son coming down the stairs. Gilang's face that had panicked, now turned more calm. Gilang immediately approached Rendy, examining Rendy's hands, feet, and head.

"You're fine, aren't there any injuries or nothing taken from the bad guy?" ask Gilang.

"Papa take it easy, everything's fine. We better get home soon, mama must have been waiting at home" said Rendy while pulling Gilang immediately away from there.

Next Day..

Rendy leaves for school in between Kanaya on a motorcycle. After arriving at school, Rendy fools her mother. He did not go to school but went to Rama's company.

"Lan, Rendy's starting to move!" said Reyhan who entered Gilang's room in a hurry.

Gilang was staring at the backup from outside the window with both hands hidden in the back.

"I had expected something to make Rendy obey Rama. Tell our people to keep looking after Rendy and watch her movements." Gilang said without looking at Reyhan.

"But, Lan. What does Rama want from Rendy? Rendy's heart, liver, and kidneys are still very small. There's no way she asked for it." said Reyhan who became curious.

"Either what is in Rama's mind involves my son. I will not remain silent." said Gilang growled.

Long Rendy walked, she finally arrived in front of Rama's company. Rendy opens her bag and pulls out a flash disk that Rama asked for. Suddenly, Rendy's hand was held by Alex. Rendy was surprised her friend was here.

"You skipped school again?" alex asked, looking at Rendy.

"Why are you here?"

"Go home, your family will be looking for you." said Rendy who walked into the building.

"My father is still in jail and aunt is home. So no one will know I'm here" Alex said as he followed Rendy.

Rendy opens Rama's room and sees no one in it. Without any hesitation, Rendy walks in with Alex making a trap that Rama sets to successfully capture Rendy and Alex.

Brakes..

Two small children fell into the net. Rendy tried to escape, but the sound of people laughing made her turn.

"Hey, little boy. You actually came in and got into my device?" said Rama who smiled to see Rendy at Friska's company.

"Oh, nasty aunt. You're here too? Why not accompany my father in prison?" point at Alex who is shocked to see Friska standing near Rama while folding both hands.

"Do you know this kid?" rama asked who turned to Friska while pointing at Alex.

"He's my friend's son in that prison. Leave it alone, I'm lazy to bring it up." said Friska with a cold and flat face.

"Child of Azal why it could be here, Rendy should be arrested instead of him. But there was nothing, nor could his father do anything about it. He will be in prison." said Rama who kept smiling casually.

"Hey, you two. Take this kid to the hotel, the most convenient place for them. Then tell Gilang if his son's life is in my hands." Rama ordered.

"Excuse me, Uncle. Didn't Uncle ask papa's company data? I brought it here. Please let go of myself and my friend, Uncle." said Rendy who refused to take it.

"Do you think I believe you're doing it right? Let me ask myself with Gilang." said Rama who did not glance at the Flash disk in Rendy's grasp.

"I did it right. It's okay, I'll just keep it here. If Uncle wants to see it please." said Rendy before pulled Rama's bodyguard.

Rama picked up the Flash Disk hesitantly. He is not sure if Rendy did it, but he is also curious about the Flash disk that Rendy brought.

Alex curses Friska as he and Rendy are taken into the hotel, left alone. "Based on the evil dapper, he should have set me free. I'm the son of a friend who's willing to go to prison for him. No heart, no heart, no brain" Alex shouted.

"You think he heard it? It's a waste of your mouth to talk if he's not here" said Rendy, who had a clock in her hand. Rendy wants to contact Kanaya or Gilang. But the door opened immediately making one of Rama's bodyguards take all what Rendy had. Watches, school bags, even Rendy's clothes are checked one by one.

"What's up, raiding people again?" alex got it.

"You all stay here and don't make any noise. Watch out!" he said while making a firm and loud voice in front of the children.

"That's it, we've got a mouth so we can talk. You also talked just now." refuted the upset Rendy.

"As much as you are, but don't try to escape. I'll get angry and kill you understand." he snapped.

"Dead dong, Uncle!" rendy and Alex answered at the same time.
