Chapter 28. Revealed But Rejected It.

Kanaya pacing back and forth in the room waiting for Rendy who did not come in. "It's impossible if the boy really left" Kanaya said trying to calm her heart that already wanted to jump from within.

"I count to three, one... Two... Three.." said Kanaya while looking at the door. Rendy did not open the door, walking in a hurry, Kanaya came out to make sure. How surprised Kanaya was when she saw that the front of her room was so empty and quiet, there was no form of Rendy.

"Is he kidding? How could the boy really leave" said Kanaya who became panicked. I wouldn't have expected it to be like this.

"I have to look for him" he said, rushing down the stairs down every street where Rendy might be there.

"Maybe at the cafe" said Kanaya who ran quickly towards her cafe. Once there, Kanaya must feel disappointed that Rendy is not in the cafe. Kanaya's tears fell, she regretted not holding her child back. It's the first time Rendy's really escaped.

"Randy!" call Kanaya while kneeling in front of the cafe. Before long, the moaning of the rain fell making Kanaya wet slowly.

Dreet.. Dreet... Dreet...

Kanaya's phone rang, she quickly pulled her phone out of her shirt pocket and raised it in a slow voice. "Hello?" Kanaya.

"Rendy is with me, if you want to come see her, I'll send her the address" Gilang said across the phone.

Kanaya immediately got up and confirmed who the people were contacting her. Because the number is unknown, Kanaya has no idea who she is. "Hello, who is this? Why would you dare kidnap my son? Don't you know, I could easily kidnap you and dump your body!" kanaya shouted but her call was closed by Gilang.

"Damn it, just look at what I did to you" Kanaya said furiously. He then went to the place where Rendy was. Before knocking on the door, Kanaya picked up a wooden block in order to fight it later.

Geck.. Geck.. Geck..

Kanaya prepared to hit and when the door opened, she immediately floated her wooden beam without seeing who opened the door.

Brakes..

Gilang's hand managed to block the wooden block of Kanaya. He then looked at Kanaya intently as if giving a warning. "What's wrong with you? Your illness is coming back?" tanya Gilang spoke softly despite enduring the pain from the blow of the wooden beam given Kanaya.

"You, that stingy arrogant President. Why did you kidnap my son, huh? Do you want to have children but you can't and instead kidnap Rendy! Feel this!" kanaya shouted at Gilang before hearing his explanation.

"Stop, I can explain. I'm not like that." said Gilang trying to protect himself with both hands.

"Then what is this? You're the one who called me if Rendy was here, right? You brought him here? Kidnapper, it's been found that he still doesn't want to confess." said Kanaya without stopping hitting Gilang.

"Mama!" call Rendy who is standing behind Gilang. Kanaya peeked for a while then pushed Gilang's body and approached Rendy.

"Rendy, are you okay? Is anyone hurt? What did this arrogant president do to you, son?" kanaya asked out all her worries.

"Nothing, Ma. Papa couldn't have hurt me." said Rendy instantly, which left Kanaya confused.

"What's? Papa?"

"Yes, I'm his papa." said Gilang while holding his sick left hand.

"Rendy come in, let papa talk to your mama" Gilang said while giving a code to Rendy. Quickly, Rendy ran into the room making Kanaya really angry. Now, Kanaya's tension is getting higher.

"It's been quite a tinkering, arrogant president. I will go and take Rendy right now." said Kanaya who intends to follow Rendy, but in the direction of Gilang.

"Let me enjoy your body tonight, I'll give you whatever you want" Gilang reminded Kanaya of the person who trapped her that night.

Kanaya looked at Gilang as if in disbelief, Gilang's words were exactly the same as the jerk who snatched away his most precious treasure from him.

"Ka.. You!" point Kanaya right at Gilang's face.

"I'm sorry, I just found you. I've been looking for your whereabouts all along but I was mistaken. Apparently the person I told, was secretly ordered by others not to tell me about your whereabouts." obviously Gilang approached Kanaya slowly.

Kanaya retreated behind the wall, then held her chest tight. He did not accept, Gilang who should be papa Rendy.

"Why is everything revealed now? I have planned my future with others" Kanaya said with tears.

"I'm sorry, I'm late. But I promise to be the best father for Rendy. Let me correct my mistake, Kanaya" said Gilang pleading.

"Do you really believe that Rendy is your son? It could be someone else's kid, right?" kanaya said as she looked up her face looking at Gilang who was slightly taller than her.

Gilang was silent thinking for a moment. He immediately trusted Rendy's words without thinking at all. Everything that Rendy said made Gilang sure if it was her and Kanaya. Moreover, Rendy knew when it happened that time and where.

"I've guessed if you're still in doubt. You better think before you talk, you could be trapped later." said Kanaya who went into the room looking for Rendy.

Tonight, things turned silent and tough. Rendy and Kanaya walk around without any conversation. Usually Rendy's tiny mouth always seduces Kanaya when walking together. Even when they reached the boarding house, Kanaya did not greet Rendy and vice versa.

Until Kanaya's phone vibrates when it gets a message.

[Ma, everything's fine right? Rendy's very worried, Mama. Forgive Rendy this time, Ma.]

Kanaya reads a message from her son, then puts back her phone without replying to Rendy's message.

Ting..

Kanaya's phone is shaking again. Rendy doesn't keep sending messages.

[Ma, I just want to help, Mama. Maybe yesterday I said I didn't need a father, but if everyone knew my mom's past, they would definitely be after me. Rendy didn't want my mom to get hurt, so I thought I should ask Papa for help. That's all, Ma. Please don't be mad at Rendy.]

Kanaya had not finished reading Rendy's message, her son was already hugging her body from behind. "Ma, papa's fiance is a bad guy. He's no match for papa and he'll try to get rid of mama later." Whisper Rendy.

"Rendy, you need to be ready tomorrow. We will go back to the village." said Kanaya in a slow voice as she shed her tears. Unable to accept this reality.
