Chapter 63. Rendy's Mind Not To Be Scolded

By late afternoon, Gilang was still in his office. He was shocked by the sudden ringing of his cell phone. "Yes, hello, Kanaya?" ask Gilang while lifting his phone.

"Rendy's there?" kanaya asked from across the phone in a panicked voice.

"Well, hasn't Rendy come home since?" reply Gilang who looks confused. Both eyebrows Gilang even to the constrict.

"What's? Rendy hasn't made it home yet. I was also waiting for him at the cafe but Rendy was nowhere to be seen. So I went home and looked for him at home. Rendy's not here yet. How'this?" asked Kanaya who was getting panicked from across there.

Gilang immediately got up while massaging his temple. "All right, I'm looking for Rendy right now. You better wait at the cafe because Rendy said she was going there." Gilang ordered.

"Yes, I'm back at the cafe now" replied Kanaya who hung up her phone call quickly.

Gilang hurriedly got out of his room and headed for the parking lot where his car was. The plan, Gilang wants to work overtime tonight so that the problem with the Clady Group can be quickly resolved. But because Rendy has not returned home, Gilang must find the whereabouts of his son first.

"Lan, where are you going?" yelled Reyhan who just came while parking his car with some staff assigned Gilang earlier.

Gilang did not answer, instead stuck the gas harder until his car drove so fast and went from there.

Gilang turned his car on the road which he thought Rendy would stop by. But he did not see his beloved son at all. Inevitably, Gilang continued to search endlessly.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Rendy was unaware that it was late in the afternoon. He kept going until he forgot about time. Rendy also took a short break at a stall to eat for a while.

Suddenly while enjoying his meal, Rendy sees three thugs begging for money to every customer in this shop. And when the thug reached out to Rendy, Rendy gave him a tos.

"Hey, little boy. Don't you have any money? I asked for money instead of shaking my hand." lamented one of the thugs standing next to Rendy.

"Hey, why are you asking a child for money, he has no money. Just ask someone else." whispered the friend gave the direction.

Rendy continued to eat without feeling bothered at all. After the meal was over, Rendy got up and paid him off to the stall seller making the eyes of all the thugs glare. Their mouths all opened unintentionally, shocked to see Rendy carrying a lot of money.

"You don't think he has any money?" return it to his own friend.

"Maybe he's a rich kid. Then let's take all the money. Pretty." said the only thug who can't wait to take Rendy's money.

Rendy who heard the talk, put the money back in while smiling cynically. He then ran quickly so that the three thugs chased after him. Sure enough, the three of them chased after Rendy.

"Hey, stop. For your money first!" yelled at the thugs who kept chasing after Rendy.

Rendy hides behind the crowd and turns on her phone and contacts Kanaya. He sent a message quickly for Kanaya to come help him.

[Ma, this is Rendy. Rendy's after three thugs on the highway. Mama come here soon, by the bridge!]

After making sure Kanaya read it, Rendy then came out of hiding and showed herself. He then ran back to the bridge he was referring to.

"Hey, little boy. Don't run!!"

"You're not tired? Your legs will hurt later." shouted the thugs while persuading Rendy.

'I'll be gone ten minutes, mama's up. Good, I have to quickly get near the bridge.' Rendy's mutter who accelerated his pace made the three thugs lag far behind.

"He's fast, like he's not human." one of the thugs protested.

"Don't let him go undercover again in the afternoon." another one overflowed while guessing.

"Don't bother you, when there's a tuyul like him. All the ugly and bald tuyul faces. The kid was even handsome like my face." said the other.

"Handsome of where? Your eyes seem to be broken." said his friend who laughed at hearing that.

They walked and could no longer run while looking at Rendy who stopped in front of them who was eight meters away.

After they arrived, the three of them then coiled around besieging Rendy with a laugh of pleasure. They think they've caught a little boy in front of him.

"Well, now give me your money before we eat you greedily here." orders one of the thugs.

"No. Uncle isn't human to have to eat human flesh as well?" asked Rendy who was staring at their faces one by one.

"Not human. Why, don't you take it?"

"If not human, then what?" ask Rendy to turn back time.

"Vampire."

"Vampires suck blood, not human flesh" replied Rendy.

"This is a child with many questions. Do you really want to give us the money or not, huh? Otherwise, we'll leave." they yelled.

The faces of all the bewildered thugs looked at the expression of Rendy who could still relax. Usually, small children if in snapped adults immediately cry. But Rendy is very different.

"This is a leak isn't it?" he asked with a confused face.

Brumm.. Brumm.. Brumm..

Finally Kanaya also arrived while riding a motorbike at high speed making Riani continue to stick tightly on her body like glue.

Kanaya brakes impromptu and almost makes the bike turn over perfectly. Riani went down with her eyes spinning and head dizzy. He fell and fainted in the middle of the road.

"Wow, that's really great. His friend passed out." said one of the thugs who saw him.

Kanaya then went down swiftly while straining her hand muscles as if to teach a lesson to the thugs who disturbed her son.

"Is there an opponent?" sahut Kanaya while challenging three thugs at once.

The thugs also wondered if Kanaya was a strong person surely because she dared to fight them simultaneously. Afraid of getting hurt so badly, the three thugs then decided to run away while running convolutedly. Rendy and Kanaya laughed out loud looking at him.

"Good, mama's acting was amazing to the point of making them believe and fear." praised Rendy who put her thumb towards Kanaya.

"Yes, dong. Whose mother was it?" kanaya replied while proud.

"Then, we go home. Mama wouldn't scold Rendy, would she because Rendy came home late?" ask Rendy.

"You came home late because you were after them?" guess Kanaya, when it was just Rendy's wits so that Kanaya did not make a loud noise or scold Rendy.

"Yes, Ma. Rendy was so afraid it would not be saved." added Rendy who looks serious talking.

"Yes, we'll talk about it at home. Please help me wake up Riani. He fainted to see the thugs earlier." said Kanaya who did not know what made her friend faint.

Rendy then took the rest of the drinking water and watering on Riani's face made Riani wake up while being shocked. "I where? Is it still alive? Don't you think it's not safe?" said Riani who checked the condition of her own body.

"Hey, get up. There are still many customers waiting in the cafe." shouted Kanaya who turned on the motorbike again.

"It's still safe." replied Riani who breathed a sigh of relief.

"Aunty want to go home or not?" asked Rendy who was already riding behind Kanaya while looking back at Riani's pale face.

"No, I still love myself. You go home first, I take a taxi home." said Riani who refused in the bonceng Kanaya again.

Rendy and Kanaya stared at each other and shrugged their shoulders. They both left without Riani.
