Chapter 64. Dinner

"Where did you find Rendy? I've been looking for him almost everywhere doesn't work." said Gilang who had been waiting for Kanaya to come home with Rendy. When Kanaya and Rendy opened the door, Gilang immediately attacked with a question.

"Father!" shouted Rendy who ran to hug her papa, but Gilang instead avoided making Rendy confused. His father acted like never before.

"What's up, Pah?" asked Rendy for a moment while looking at Gilang's pouting face.

"Where are you out of, huh? Why make me worry. You said you wanted to go straight home to see your mom, but you still wandered down the street. What if you get hurt, Rendy?" said Gilang with a worried voice.

He stared at his son with a sad look. Kanaya quickly threw her bag towards Gilang. "Lebay is a person. You are an adult, still childish. Mature little why the hell?" kanaya.

"This is how to ask the child" said Kanaya who is now facing Rendy while adjusting her breathing.

"Randy! Where did you end up? How many times have I told you, don't wander around after school! If something happens to you, how?" said Kanaya who pressed her voice so she could make her son afraid.

"Too loud. Don't talk to my Rendy like that. I don't want to snap at him." replied Gilang who rejected Kanaya's teaching.

Kanaya hit Gilang on the head, causing Gilang to be in pain until he held her head. "Oh, sick tau!" said Gilang who turned towards Kanaya.

"You know if it hurts. This is your son not too dear, later he will be more uphill." said Kanaya who put on an upset face to walk into the room by stomping her legs.

Rendy and Gilang briefly noticed the different ways of Kanaya's path, then looked at each other and smiled happily. They both did the tos secretly.

Rani's grandmother, Reyhan, Alvin, and Mizuki looked at Gilang in confusion. It was not usual for Gilang to issue an opinion that could destroy their food.

"What did you say?" kanaya asked him to try to solve it, while Rendy covered her mouth with her hands trying to hold back the laughter.

"Lan, you haven't tried it yet. What if Kanaya's cooking is really bad?" sahut Alvin who makes Kanaya even more upset.

"Don't be like that. Kanaya is tired of cooking for our dinner. You better taste it before you say." said Grandma Rani.

"really. Taste first just talk." ordered Kanaya who wants to prove it if the cuisine is not as bad as the thoughts of the two of them.

'It feels good, but it's a pity I can't confess.' muttered Gilang in the heart.

"How does it feel?" ask the curious Mizuki.

"Not good!" replied Gilang steadily even feeling relaxed.

"What?" Kanaya rounded her eyes to hear him. His emotions that can still be held earlier now can not be pendam anymore. He wants to get it out right now.

Rendy who saw him quickly took food for him or he won't be tonight.

"What about you, Alvin?" asked Kanaya who turned her head towards Alvin who was still chewing.

At first Alvin wanted to be honest, but when he saw Gilang looking at him as if giving a code to say no, Alvin became a follow-up. "It doesn't feel good at all" said Alvin, who looked at Gilang with a smile.

"Really, what if I'm the one tasting?" suhut Reyhan was curious.

"no need. You'll definitely side with your cousin. It's best that all the food in front of this is just Grandma Rani and Mizuki eating it. You three are not allowed. Understood!" it was Kanaya who pulled all her vegetables from the face of these three people.

"Ma, what about Rendy? Rendy has always loved mama's cooking." said Rendy who had enjoyed the food first.

"Can. You didn't answer or defend them either. So, only the four of us eat." explained Kanaya with a sharp look towards the three of them.

"Loh, can't be so, sister-in-law. Later I will not accept you to be my brother-in-law." Alvin protested while persuading Kanaya.

"Oh, time? But I'm sorry, you said that if my cooking wasn't good so why did you eat it?" kanaya said as she glanced at Gilang because she knew the mastermind of all her problems was Gilang.

"The hell did I say that?" alvin said with a sad face.

"I didn't say anything earlier. Just wanted to taste it has been rejected. So what am I eating, Grandma?" asked Reyhan who hopes to get a defense from Rani's grandmother.

"All of you can't eat all that food. So let us eat it." said Gilang who now feels laper.

"Don't beg, you yourself are looking for trouble" Kanaya said.

"Sir, Mizuki, you eat. If necessary, do not leave it to anyone. We spend it together." said Kanaya while offering rice to Grandma Rani to start eating.

"Let's eat!" the excited Rendy shouted, while the three people before her could only gulp down her saliva from getting nothing.

'Look at you, Rendy, you're the one who makes sense like this. I became a laper. Basic bad boy.' mutant Gilang who felt in the raw deceit by his own son.

The night is getting late, Rendy is still busy with her laptop. He started to look sleepy and was preparing to go to sleep. However, Kanaya's cell phone rang making Rendy walk to pick it up. After seeing the name of the person calling Kanaya was Senior, Rendy hurriedly picked her up.

"Kanaya, I need our help. I'm on orchid road number 1. Please come, I can't talk for long. Someone is watching me." said Ramadan in a panic.

Tut's.. Tut's.. Tut's..

The call ended and made Rendy surprised. He wondered what Ramadan meant. Rendy quickly picked up her jacket and quietly walked out of the room. But when he reached the living room, someone patted him on the shoulder from behind.

"You're Rendy, right? I think tuyul." said Alvin in the dark.

"Uncle Alvin, Rendy is actually." said Rendy who wanted to explain herself wanted to go check something out, fearing Alvin yelling makes everyone who has fallen asleep again wake up and Rendy's plan to leave becomes a failure.
