Chapter 4. Feeling Not Foreign

Kanaya runs, intending to find her son who suddenly leaves without telling himself. All he knows is that Rendy must have gone to the Wins cafe because Rendy asked her where she was before she left.

"Where's the kid?" said Kanaya who panicked by continuing to roll her eyeballs looking for the whereabouts of Rendy in the cafe. Not being too focused, Kanaya accidentally bumped into the arrogant president's fiancee who stood up abruptly.

Brakes..

Kanaya took a few steps back while holding her banged head. He looked up and was surprised to see who hit him. "You again?" point at Kanaya by rolling her eyeballs, lazily looking at the person in front of her.

"Hey, have you been following me and my fiancee so far?" said Friska who put on an annoyed face.

"I came here, I have nothing to do with you. Better get away, I want to pass." said Kanaya who intended to go from there, but Friska's hand blocked her.

"Don't expect to come here looking for trouble with me, then intend to leave. You're not gonna get out of here." Tell Friska with a sharp eye. Gilang, his assistant and secretary just silently watched.

"Are you obsessed with my fiancee?" friska asked suddenly, making Kanaya round her eyes and laugh out loud.

"I? Liked this arrogant president? Not wrong? He is not my type." said Kanaya while pointing at Gilang who was not far from him.

"Seriously?" suddenly a man appeared with a laugh also hearing Kanaya's statement.

"Did my face look joking?" kanaya answered by looking at the man.

"Ha ha ha, this is a female step. Of the many girls, only this time there are people who reject Gilang blatantly. I thought, no one will turn down our handsome president." Alvin still laughed mockingly.

"Alvin, quiet!" said Mizuki, secretary of Gilang.

"You're going to lose your job, Vin." added Reyhan, Gilang's assistant.

"You seem to be tired of working Alvin. Do I want to give you a lifetime leave?" silang said with a cold gaze but could make Alvin shut his mouth instantly.

"I was just kidding, Lan. Don't put it in the heart, later I fight to grandma loh." persuaded Gilang.

Kanaya was tired of hearing useless talk. The important thing is to find Rendy and bring her back and sleep well. "Excuse me, dad. I have to go, a lot of business" said Kanaya who rushed to leave the place she did not like.

Friska was really emotional, she wanted to hold Kanaya back but Gilang's hand quickly pulled her. "Once, let it go. He's just a useless insignificant person" Gilang said back sitting in his place.

"You just keep quiet, don't you hear him humbling yourself. He just pretended not to like you when obviously he came here for following us. He was embarrassed to admit it because he got caught red-handed." Obviously Friska put on a sullen face.

"But, he looks to be looking for someone. It could be, his friend coincidentally was in this cafe." Reyhan proposed.

"Don't be easy to believe, Rey. You seem to be so easy to fool. Quickly, still single until now." said Friska with a mocking smile.

Outside the cafe, Kanaya's pale face never found Rendy. "Rendy, where the hell are you going? Why make your dear mama tired and tired keep spinning?" kanaya said in a slow voice watching everyone go in and out of the Wins cafe.

"Mama." shouted a child who sounded like Rendy. Kanaya turned her head quickly, smiled and immediately ran over to Rendy who was on the side of the road with a laptop in her hand.

"Rendy.. You're not hurt, are you?" kanaya asked as she examined her son's body.

"No, Ma. Sorry, old Rendy."

Kanaya's worried expression turned sinister after knowing her son was fine. 'Oh my goodness, I will be angered again.' Rendy's mutter who has understood Kanaya's face change.

"Hey, bad boy. You know going out the night alone, very dangerous. If you're kidnapped, take your kidney, your heart..." Kanaya does not stop nagging by the side of the road, unknowingly if Gilang observes the two of them from inside her car.

"Why do I feel familiar with him?" ask Gilang for a moment. The sound of a horn from the back of Gilang's car, made him immediately leave from there. Likewise with Rendy, she immediately went home with her mother.

Next Day..

Kanaya woke up early, prepared provisions for Rendy, did not forget to also prepare all the items that will be used Rendy. Rendy came out of the bathroom, immediately wearing the clothes that Kanaya prepared on the table. "Rendy, don't forget to study diligently. You know, it's the most expensive school in town. It's a waste if you just come to play at that school" Kanaya said as she prepared bread for her son to eat.

"Mama sounds worried,"

"Of course, who is not surprised to hear his son was accepted at the expensive school. I didn't expect it myself." said Kanaya smiling proudly.

"Yes, you didn't expect it because I was smart enough to be even smarter than you. Maybe because I followed papa." Obviously Rendy by eating bread that has been wrapped with pineapple finish.

"What's in it if you look like your father, we don't even know what his face looks like."

"There certainly is, Ma. I look like papa, then we can find papa. If he doesn't believe me, I'm ready to do a DNA test." Rendy said with great confidence.

Kanaya patted the table making Rendy shocked. He quickly swallowed his bread. "Stop saying that, we've both been living happily now. Without your papa, I can take care of you." Kanaya said with a bit of a sad face. Rendy realizes, she often hears her mama being the object of gossip of the neighbors for getting pregnant out of wedlock. Kanaya is actually innocent. But it was the circumstances of that time that he could not avoid.

'Mama must have been very hurt because she was considered a child of disgrace. I can't imagine how my mom raised me. Must be very difficult. Relax, Ma. I promise I will bring papa back so that you do not suffer alone.' Rendy's grunts stared fixedly at the face of Kanaya who was looking down.

"Oh my goodness, Rendy. You're too late, let's go." said Kanaya, who rushed to get her son's bag and took Rendy out.

"I have to drive you, wait a minute." Kanaya said while contacting someone. Not long after, a girl of Kanaya's age arrives with a motorcycle. Kanaya quickly sent her friends down and took over.

"Rendy's fast up, mama's dropping off at school." Kanaya shouted while turning on the motor. Rendy simply complied, while Kanaya's friend could only sigh roughly.

"Kanaya hasn't changed either" he said.
