Chapter 26. Heavy Disappointment

Rendy pacing back and forth waiting for Gilang. He was sure Gilang must have come after checking the contents of the Flashdisk. The truth will be revealed at this time.

"Who are you waiting for?" asked Kanaya who was aware of her son's anxiety.

"Someone I will call papa." replied Rendy smiling happily.

"What's? Have you found your real father?" asked Kanaya who was surprised. He then approached Rendy, confirming it.

"How did you find him? I just don't know who he is." Kanaya said back.

"With Rendy's instinct. I've never misjudged anyone, and if she asks for more evidence I'll be ready to do a DNA test with her." Obviously Rendy.

"Then, that guy will come? Do I know him?" kanaya asked who was curious. He wanted to know which bastard had turned his life into this. At the very least, he left behind an outstanding child until Kanaya did not feel a little bothered taking care of him.

Gilang then approached Kanaya and Rendy with a sweet smile. Rendy hopes once her papa realizes it if she is the child she's been looking for all this time with Kanaya.

"Kanaya, I want to talk to you about something important." said Gilang immediately.

"What if I don't want to?" kanaya said as she folded her hands.

"Ma, better talk to uncle Gilang. Maybe he found the person we were looking for until he came to town." persuaded Rendy as he blinked one eye.

"Alright, I want to talk because my son asked for it." Kanaya replied quickly not being able to see Rendy's pleading face.

"Thank you very much" said Gilang and pulled Kanaya's hand out for a bit. They talked for almost half an hour until Rendy was tired of waiting for him.

"Why so long? He should have just explained if mom was the person he had slept with at the hotel" Rendy said as she watched Kanaya's expression from a distance.

Suddenly Kanaya came back to Rendy with a sour face and flushed. Rendy is getting confused, why her mother looks angry like holding something. "Mom should be happy to find papa. But.." said Rendy while looking at Kanaya's face that was so upset.

Rendy then ran towards Gilang wanting to find out. "Papa wait!" scream Rendy. Gilang and Reyhan turned their heads, surprised that Rendy yelled to say the name of papa.

"Who are you calling papa?" asked Gilang while bowing to equalize his height with Rendy.

"What?" Rendy's surprised. Gilang has not noticed.

'Did you not see the contents of the flash?' ruman Rendy with a disappointed face. Rendy then went back to the cafe without responding to Gilang's words. His little heart seemed to be eroded hearing Gilang's words.

"I'm very disappointed, very disappointed" said Rendy in a slow voice as she walked with her head lowered. Gilang did not respond, he then went back, walked to his car thinking if Rendy was joking or playing around.

"It wasn't me who was called, just look she didn't answer when I asked." replied Gilang.

"But you're not looking for that woman. It could be, he has a child and it's Rendy." Reyhan reminded.

"I made sure of it and it wasn't him. The name alone is similar, Kanaya." said Gilang with a difficult look at the meaning.

After working from the cafe, Rendy saw Dirgantara waiting in front of his boarding house. Rendy quickly told her mother. "Ma, that guy's the villain. He's the air that I tell my mama a lot!" shouted Rendy while pointing to Dirgantara standing in front of his boarding house.

"What's? So the old man who had the plan to kidnap my son is now here" Kanaya said, clenching her hands together.

"You wait here, Rendy. I'm going to teach him a little bit of a lesson" said Kanaya, who wants to fight Dirgantara, who has dared to worry about kidnapping Rendy.

"Mama should be careful. If the situation is increasingly emergency, use your sniper style." said Rendy reminded while filing the thumb gives encouragement to Kanaya.

Kanaya quickly pulled out her stance, shouting loudly to make the ears of the Airgantara like it wanted to explode. Without waiting for long, Dirgantara then ran away and away from Kanaya as fast as possible. Rendy laughed out loud watching her mama's silly actions.

"Mama, great. Very great!" praise Rendy.

"Ha ha ha, that's common. I am even though women can fight criminals as well." Kanaya replied confidently.

"Right, we don't need a papa if you're strong enough to protect me" Rendy said.

"What's? Why did you say that?" kanaya said with a confused face. Rendy never said anything like that. He always said he wanted to see his father like any other child.

"Ngomon-ngomon, what was Uncle Gilang talking about?" asked Rendy in a slow voice.

"Oh, that. He said why my name can be Kanaya? He said the man he had slept with was also named Kanaya. I vehemently denied, she was impressed as if accusing me if I was impersonating or claiming to be the one she had slept with for choosing Kanaya's name. "Alright, Ma. We are happy together just like Mom said. Rendy now does not matter if you live with your mother without a father" said Rendy who was disappointed. What is clear, Rendy has been trying to help Gilang.
