The Son of God
85. Marriage Decision

Kanaya rolled her eyes when she heard her mother's words. He did not accept it, obviously he got up from his seat.

"Seriously, Ma?" asked Rendy who was staring sweetly at Kanaya.

"Mom, we haven't discussed it. Why did you make a unilateral decision. I don't want to marry Gilang." said Kanaya, folding her hands together.

"Kanaya, think of Rendy. He needs a father." said his mother with a sharp look.

"Mom, since birth Rendy never got pity dear to a father. I raised him myself, he got used to it without Gilang. So, I won't marry Gilang!" tell the stubborn Kanaya again.

Gilang and Alvin could only subdue themselves. Gilang's heart ached, never a woman managed to tear his heart even though he was engaged to Friska.

"Lan, I'm sorry. You better go home now, never come to my house again" said Kanaya, who kicked Gilang out.

"Mama." said Rendy in a slow voice, but Kanaya immediately went into her room and closed the door. Rendy's gaze led to Gilang, she felt sorry to see the sad face of her papa.

"Basar Kanaya, it's hard to tell. Patience Gilang, grandma will continue to persuade Kanaya." said Kanaya's mother who went to the front of her son's room, knocked on the door and tried to talk back.

In the living room, there were no smiles emanating from these three people. They all focus on themselves. Alvin who is usually chatty, now shut his mouth tightly. He did not want to add to Gilang's grief.

"Pa, will Rendy help persuade you?" asked Rendy while holding Gilang's finger.

"Actually, Pa. My mother was a very kind and loving person. He was known to be friendly by his friends. However, after Rendy was there, mama continued to blaspheme here and there. In fact, mama's friend blatantly said mama was a prostitute. Rendy is also sick to hear it, but Mama always develops her smile on Rendy. She's sure, mama's gonna be okay." explained Rendy. Gilang and Alvin became aware, this is the reason why Kanaya still refused to marry him.

"Lan, you have to give Kanaya some time. He's not ready at the moment." clapped Alvin.

"Ah, then we go home tonight. Incidentally, there is a problem in the city that I have to solve. Reyhan cannot be relied on." said Gilang who returned smiling. The mood began to improve.

By magrib, Gilang's car had already left. Kanaya just peeked out of the window of her room. His heart kept sounding, telling him to stop Gilang.

"What am I thinking? I'm the one who wants Gilang to leave?" said Kanaya who was sitting on her dressing chair. Suddenly his son came in and shocked him.

"Why? Are you afraid your mom is sick? Well, you already care about me more" said Kanaya who patted slowly on Rendy's face.

"Ma, if you don't want to marry papa, then who will you marry? The uncle you picked up at the airport is no more. I don't know where he is. Is mom close to a guy Rendy didn't know?" ask rendy with his serious face.

"really? Do you need to find a widower too?" kanaya said while thinking.

"Rendy doesn't like widows, Ma. If there are virgins, why do you have to be widows? But if you choose papa, Rendy is more happy." said Rendy who shouted loudly. Kanaya smiled at the cute face of her son. An uneasy feeling from within Kanaya's heart, suddenly disappeared.

The next day, Kanaya finished cleaning. He then went into Rendy's room to see the condition of his son who had not come out since morning. Rendy is focusing on her laptop.

"You're at work?" ask Kanaya who approached her son.

"No, Ma. Rendy learn. Rendy is looking for information on how to develop a company" explained Rendy who read the news from her laptop.

"Rendy, are you helping Gilang again?" kanaya said, now changing her tone.

"Yes, Ma. Wh why? Mama doesn't like it and wants to forbid Rendy to do it?" reply Rendy while looking at the face of her mother who was struck by a strange feeling.

"To be honest, mom thought hard last night. Mama thought, there is no choice but to marry Gilang. Isn't it?" said the nervous Kanaya.

"Why does my mom think that? No man wants to be with mom? Ha ha ha, Rendy's guessing. Senior mama who really liked mama, has now left. Remaining papa." said Rendy laughing mockingly.

"Hey, bad boy. Your mama was confiding, why are you laughing like that. It's not polite." reprimanded Kanaya.

"Alright, Rendy will support one hundred percent of your decision. Is it necessary, Rendy told papa?" asked Rendy who was still smiling. Kanaya became doubtful, but seeing her son's face twinkling, Kanaya ventured to nod.

"Yeah, Rendy's gonna have mom and dad!" shouted Rendy excited.
