Chapter 9. Wedding Cancellation.

"What's? Are you out of your mind?" friska shouted while patting the table in front of her. Gilang, the fiancee invited him to dinner to discuss the important things and the important thing made Friska stunned.

"You know for yourself, my company's data is breached. The guy asked me to meet him at the Wins cafe, I had no choice but to back off our wedding date" Gilang said, trying to calm Friska down.

"Honestly, Lan. I can't wait any longer, I don't want to know if our wedding has to be done tonight" Friska said.

"Friska, I can't."

"But, Lan...." Friska closed her mouth, as if she didn't want to say it. Big trouble could come if he told Gilang.

'Sorry, Lan. I'm pregnant and you should be the father of this child. I don't want anyone but you Friska muttered in tears.

"Friska, why? You suddenly cry. Am I being too rude to you?" said Gilang while hugging his fiancee.

"Sorry, dad. But our marriage has to be postponed until tonight. I have to see the culprit." kiss Gilang on Friska's forehead before leaving.

After school, Rendy takes a taxi back to Kanaya's grandfather's cafe. The cafe is in a hereditary school so it is natural that they do not sell it even if they need money. Kanaya's mother still continues to maintain it according to the inheritance of the husband.

"Mama, I'm home!" yelled Rendy who went inside the cafe. Rendy was surprised to see the two strangers full of paint on her body.

"Who are y'all? What burglar? I called the police." said Rendy quickly calling the police.

"Rendy, are you crazy to put your mama in jail?" shouted someone similar to the voice of Wana.

"Mama? Is that true?"

"Yes, it's me. My body is full of paint, but it's okay because I clean it immediately" Kanaya said as she walked to the bathroom. Rendy just nodded slowly.

"How about me little boy, have you recognized me?" riani asked for a moment while showing her color and her body all turned white.

"Tante Riani is too glowing, I don't recognize auntie" Rendy said bluntly.

"really?" riani blushed in embarrassment. Though, Rendy honestly insinuated it was full of white paint.

Kanaya came out after changing her clothes. He then gave lunch to Rendy. "How are things at school, is everything okay?" kanaya asked as she watched Rendy enjoy her meal.

"Yes, Ma." replied Rendy with a full mouth.

"What about your salary?" kanaya asked in a whisper.

"I mean mama?" asked Rendy with a confused face.

"You broke into the company yesterday, the money's out?" kanaya said with an enthusiastic face.

"Yet, Ma. If you want to take the money, come to the Wins cafe. Don't forget to wear makeup to look beautiful." explains Rendy.

"What's? I have to come there? But for what?" ask the confused Kanaya. He became afraid when he got there and was approached by the police.

"Not really, I just want you to enjoy the food there. I've ordered a table for Mama. How's it?"

"Okay, if you give mama a lot of money. Mama has to buy some equipment for this cafe." explained Kanaya with a happy face.

Rendy nodded then went back to enjoying her delayed meal. Later that night, Rendy begins to execute her plans. He purposely reserved another seat for Gilang.

"I ordered a table in Gilang's name" Rendy said. Rendy deliberately changed her voice for the receptionist to give her.

Not long after, Rendy and Kanaya break into the Wins cafe after ordering a table number. While the table for Gilang was adjacent to their table.

"I look different when using makeup" said Kanaya who was amazed by her appearance.

"True, mama is very beautiful like the angel of my heart." seduced Rendy with a sweet smile.

"You're still a kid who can fight. Am I that pretty?" said Kanaya who has a shining face gets praise from her son.

Not long after, Gilang came and sat on the chair that had been ordered by Rendy. How shocked Kanaya was to see the arrogant president.

"He again, he again. Why do I always meet him?" kanaya with a dislike expression.

Gilang did not pay attention, he focused on waiting for the person who made the appointment with him. Rendy silently watched him.

Five minutes later, Gilang had not been confirmed. He grew tired of waiting and kept staring at the watch in his hand.

"Uncle is waiting for someone?" sahut Rendy instantly. Gilang also looked at the sound of a child.

"Rendy, what the fuck are you. Don't talk to him," reprimanded Kanaya who disliked him.

"I'm just asking, Ma. You see, there came a man who was sitting there waiting too" said Rendy.

"What's? So the person I'm waiting for has gone home first? Didn't we agree to meet here tonight?" said Gilang with a surprised face.

"Home home, uncle. He had told me to tell my uncle about the uncle's company he said it would be fine as long as he obeyed all his wishes that he would send by message." explained Rendy carrying out his plan.

"Geez, I can meet someone who can't be held responsible. Arrive late, I don't know what his future will be." said Kanaya.

"You better shut up, I'm confused" said Gilang who was upset. He's massaging his temple.

"If uncle feels free, can join us to eat with us. It just so happens that I don't have a papa." Rendy bargained that made Kanaya glare.

"Hey, Rendy!"

"Alright, I join" said Gilang without thinking. It was as if she could not refuse Rendy's adorable offer.

"Hey, arrogant president. You better go home and don't disturb our fun." Kanaya said as she pointed at Gilang.

"Ma, don't be so rude. Later mama quickly old and more worryingly, Rendy will not be able to get papa. No one can approach my mom if she acts like that. Isn't that uncle?" tajya Rendy turned to Gilang.

"What?" said Gilang who was surprised. Suddenly his name was called.

"It could be that uncle and mama will like each other." added Rendy who smiled happily.

"You misjudged your mother. A man like him, is not your dream type" Kanaya said haughtily. While Gilang, he felt that something was stirring his heart. A deep bond between her and Rendy.

"He's your son?" ask Gilang for a moment.

"Why? Does my face look so much easier that you didn't think I had one?" kanaya praised herself.

"Mama is not married, but I was born first. It's all because there's a guy fucking my mama in a hotel. We're looking for my real papa. When I find it later, my mom and dad have to get married." explained Rendy who increasingly makes Gilang surprised. The shadow of the past five years ago was still stored in his brain as if spinning displaying it.
