The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Bad Signs #102

Southern Continent, Mystick Kingdom. Snowstorms fell more heavily than usual, even burying a lot of small houses residents who could not survive longer. Every human being in the Mystick Kingdom lives with a thought that has been engineered by the Dark Lord - or better known as Astaroth.

In a day that can not be recognized whether day or night, because the sky is always dark with a terrible cloud of ash mixed with dark blue. Lightning struck, dazzling glint, and boomed behind the darkness of the clouds. Really a creepy atmosphere, the sky seems to be raging because of something.

Asta, also known as Astaroth. The black-crowned man stood right in front of the majestic gate of Mystick Palace, and in the presence of the myriad human warriors who looked submissive in front of him. The number of soldiers currently in front of his palace was over a thousand, not even less than a dozen thousand. They're all human. Just above them were thousands of monstrous creatures with a pair of wings as well as black, dark claws. They floated by flapping each of their wings, and were enveloped by a dark aura so dense that it did not show what their true figure was like, only exposing the red eyes that numbered in the thousands.

"This isn't all, Your Honor. This army is an army that has existed in the world for a long time, and some of them are former soldiers led by His Majesty Lucifer." Baltazhar appeared suddenly, starting from a dark-colored ash plume, to reveal his figure covered by a dark robe.

"How is the news of His Majesty Asmodeus?" asta asked, glancing with both slices of his blue eyes at Baltazhar beside him.

Baltazhar lowered his head and replied, "as soon as the opening of the portal is done."

Asta's sharp gaze returned to the front, staring at the thousands of soldiers kneeling before him - unconcerned though they would be buffeted by the current torrent of snow. Both irises blue eyes belonging to Asta, slowly turned reddish orange like a blaze that highlights and lights up. The black robe attached to his armor slowly lifted, followed by his slowly floating body.

A sinister aura of darkness enveloped the body of Astaroth, before then its body was enveloped by the snow blowing just revolving around it. As he raised both his hands as if asking the sky for something, the roar of the sky again sounded with lightning coming back. The wind blew very strongly, and the dark cloud that was directly above Astaroth slowly rotated to create a hole made of a vortex of clouds in the sky.

"My faithful followers, there has come a day when our power will soon expand, and a day when we will avenge the loss of our former nation."

Astaroth spoke in a loud voice, heard by his entire army. I don't know what he was doing, but the rumbling of the sound of the sky was instantly muffled by his voice as he spoke. Lightning increasingly struck as if raging, even a single bolt of lightning aimed at the figure of Asta floating above. But the dark magical entity fended off the lightning, thus protecting the figure of Asta who was about to be struck.

The clouds are getting darker, and more and more raging. Nature seems to not approve, and does not like what Astaroth does. Not just one or two times lightning struck Asta's body, but up to many times. But Asta's armor and cloak were not scratched in the slightest, the strike of dozens and even dozens of thunderbolts was nothing to Astaroth.

"The Honorable Demon King Asmodeus doesn't want to wait long, neither do I. We will begin a new history, and write our own history on the victory!" astaroth exclaimed, before being followed by cheers of support from his soldiers. They raised their swords, spears, and the dark colored war banners they carried. Same with the sky warriors.

Baltazhar reappeared right next to Astaroth, hovering like the black-crowned man. Astaroth's red eyes continued to look down, looking at the thousands of troops with more than three powerful kingdoms at once, before then gazing up, looking up, saw thousands of demons flying and they were also part of his army.

"We're going to have our victory delayed, Your Majesty?" baltazhar asked with intonation of hoarse speech.

"With this opening, we will tell the world the true history, and write a new history on top of our victory" said Astaroth with his sharp eyes, "because history will be written by the winner," he continued.

The atmosphere of the night is very calm with a very beautiful view of the sky, thousands of stars scattered in the sky tonight. But the calm does not apply to a prince and heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Zephyra, namely Prince Welt. The man ran down the hallway of his palace, climbed the stairs to the second floor, and knocked on the door of a room in a hurry.

The door opened, and King Aiden and Queen Caitlyn were seen coming out of the room without official clothes, only sleeping clothes. They question what really happened with Welt.

"What makes you look like you're meeting a demon like this, Welt?" asked King Aiden, frowning his forehead, staring puzzledly.

"Calm ...!" timpal Queen Caitlyn gently.

Welt took a deep breath, before saying, "you must see it!"

...

King Aiden and Queen Caitlyn walked following the steps of Welt, down the stairs, past the central garden of the palace, and headed to the palace library. Welt's step was in such a hurry, like wanting to show something to his parents. But he did not tell us in advance what he really wanted to show.

Arriving at the library, he meets one of the library guards named Al. Welt approached one of the reading tables in the middle of the breakup, and showed a dark black crystal ball, very dense.

King Aiden and Queen Caitlyn seemed confused by the rare sight. The crystal ball shown was one of the Magic Crystals belonging to the Zephyra Kingdom, and the crystal was commonly used as a sign of what was going to happen in the future.

"Use the magic eye, and look at it" said Welt.

The two eyes belonging to King Aiden slowly turned a light green color. Likewise with what was done by Queen Caitlyn, turning both irises into golden yellow. A moment after, the two were made to get choked up by what they saw. A pitch-black and terrifying aura enveloped the magic crystal.

Moments later, the magic crystal suddenly broke, smashing into pieces leaving only small pieces of glass. This surprised the four people in the library.

"This is a bad sign" muttered King Aiden, then overpowered by Queen Caitlyn who nodded and also thought the same, "something very bad," said the beautiful queen.
