The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Battle of Pearls #145

The magic barriers made, the watchtowers, and the sharp wooden fences of the border, had all been successfully destroyed. The dark forces broke through everything, and immediately clashed with the troops under King Aiden's leadership. His warriors were undaunted even though death was before him. They attacked, taking out many of the black banner human soldiers possessed by the darkness army.

When his soldiers attacked, the cavalry from the right and left sides joined forces to form a formation flanking the dark forces that first attacked. From the rear of the line, the royal witches also fought hard, they cast many spells and attacked thousands of invading dark forces. All around the line of magicians were archers preparing in the surrounding hills, they were carrying out a formation of protection against the royal witches from any air attacks carried out by the many flying demons.

The situation is completely chaotic, no one can control it. King Aiden also participated in the great battle using his sword, he was with Kenan who was always nearby, and helped and protected several blind spots of the king. Although clearly outnumbered, but the army led by the king did defense very well by focusing on the ranks of the royal magicians, making the dark forces very difficult to conquer the border.

Many times attacks from demons and unusual creatures were launched, but all of these attacks could be broken easily by magic spells cast by royal sorcerers. The royal witches put up a very strong resistance, launching several elements that reacted to each other like wind, fire, and lightning, among others, moreover, they increasingly benefit from stormy weather and heavy rain which can make it easier to create reactions from various elements.

"The rear of them is very troublesome, and the movement of our troops seems overwhelmed. How are your next steps, Your Majesty?" asked the black-robed figure of Baltazhar, next to Astaroth who was still hovering above the height.

Astaroth watched the intense battle that was going on from above the heights. Several explosions occurred, burning some of the hills below, causing numerous fatalities on both sides. The wind was blowing ever louder, reacting with storms and rain, striking and flattening the soldiers of darkness. Both of his eyes could see that his army was slaughtered easily down there by the magic of the witches belonging to an extremely powerful enemy at the back. The flying demon soldiers also seemed to have great difficulty touching and destroying the ranks of the sorcerers, many of whom were shot down by the master archers possessed by the human kingdoms.

"Take care of their witches, Baltazhar ...! You can use your strength here," Astaroth said casually and calmly, giving orders to Baltazhar.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Baltazhar lowered his head, before he flew away like a black shadow, sliding down among the thunderbolts and the thick of the storm.

Below, among his soldiers, and in the middle he faced many of his enemies. King Aiden's attention was directed towards the sky, seeing a pitch-black shadow, moving rapidly towards the rear of his army. Seeing this he did not stay silent, calling to Kenan who also seemed quite overwhelmed facing five people at once behind him, "something approaching the back row!"

A moment after exclaiming, King Aiden decided to immediately rush away, with quick steps in between the battles towards the rearguard.

Kenan's attention also had a glance up, before he finally had to focus back on the battle. Shaking out his sword extremely powerfully, and making the five black-armored human warriors before him fall down, the, before then he rushed to run after the king while protecting him by fending off several arrows and attacks that almost injured his king using his sword.

"You saw it, didn't you?!" exclaimed King Aiden, continuing to run on the sidelines of the battle, gazing towards the sky.

"Yes!" sahut Kenan followed behind the king.

Just above the two of them flashed a pitch-black shadow, flying at a fairly speedy pace, towards the rearmost row of his army. But not yet in the rear row, the king's steps and Kenan had to stop, dismissed by a giant three-headed dog.

"Keberos!" said Kenan, immediately put up a body, standing in front of King Aiden by drawing his sword towards the monstrous creature.

ROOAAARR ...!!!

The creature named Cesios suddenly roared, and directly hit Kenan with one claw. Lucky Kenan can move quickly dodge, and at that time also King Aiden continued to rush towards the rear row.

Kenan moved quickly between the four legs of the creature, and slashed his sword into the skin of the three-headed dog. However, the skin is very hard, even only causing mild scratches. A pemosan did not remain silent, he immediately jumped, and slashed his sharp and pointed tail towards Kenan.

Ahhhh ...!!!!

Not about the figure of Kenan who had first jumped to the back, the tail was precisely about many of the other soldiers who were around, no matter it was friends or opponents, the tail was precisely about many of the other soldiers who were around him, no matter it was friends or opponents, everything was cut down by that monstrous huge creature.

"Damn it! Must use magic!?" gusar Kenan, annoyed with his sharp gaze towards the creature.

...

On the other hand, King Aiden was already running among the majority of his soldiers. His gaze was still fixed towards the sky in front, seeing that the black shadow was getting closer and closer to the rear of his army. It seems that there are already many archers who throw their arrows, but everything is useless because it can only penetrate the shadow, not stop it and get faster.

"It won't be splin-"

...!!!!

DUUAARR ...!!!

Already tried hard to run towards the back line of his troops, but the effort did not have time. A dazzling white flash of light suddenly appeared, before then making a large-scale explosion. The explosion hit, obliterated, and blew away everything around it, even the hills in the region also crashed like scattered cotton. The king's body was also affected, crashing several meters back with many of his soldiers.

Astaroth watched everything that was happening inside the battle that was right below him, including the explosion that had just crippled the rear line of the enemy forces in just an instant. The black-haired man then grinned, with a sharp red look on his eyes. He seemed happy and satisfied with what he had just seen.
