The Kingdom of Zephyra, one of the three great empires ruling the Middle Continent. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, with the bustle of the capital that seems never extinguished. But the peace does not seem to be felt by the royal family currently in the palace. King Aiden held a meeting attended by the best knight of the kingdom namely Kenan, a library guard named Al, a representative of the soldiers namely Franz, his right hand or confidant, Weiz, and of course also attended by the queen and her beloved eldest son. The meeting was held during the day in King Aiden's own throne room.

No one was kneeling, everyone was standing except for the king and queen who were sitting on her throne chair with anxious looks. King Aiden immediately began talks in the meeting that will discuss what happened last night. The news of what happened to one of the Magic Crystals belonging to the kingdom asked known to certain people only, even Weiz, Kenan, and others, and Franz still seemed puzzled over the intent of the two of them being suddenly summoned to face and present in the throne room.

King Aiden could understand and realized that there were still some who were confused. He immediately spoke up to start the conversation, and told what happened last night to the three people.

"Overnight, one of the kingdom's Magic Crystals had broken out after showing the existence of a truly terrifying magical entity."

The statement from King Aiden was reinforced by Welt who immediately spoke, "the evidence is well preserved with me."

The Queen and Welt were not too surprised when they heard what the king said. But that was not the case for Kenan, Franz, and Weiz who had just heard the news this afternoon. Everyone in the palace and kingdom knew the power as well as the usefulness of those Magic Crystals. The kingdom of Zephyra does have more than one magic crystal, and usually each is stored in important buildings of the royal government such as academies and museums as an example. However, the magic crystals owned by the palace were different from the others, and had special features.

"What the magic crystal shows is certainly something very bad, but I myself do not know what is really going to or may be going on" King Aiden said.

The situation of the room was silent for a moment, before King Aiden finally threw a question to Franz whose question was, "is there something or a report from one of the regions or villages in the jurisdiction of the Land of Zephyra?"

Franz saluted her by bowing his head, before then he replied, "nothing, Your Majesty. Everything's been fine since this morning, nothing's awkward."

"The royal magic side has also not detected anything unusual since this morning" Welt said.

Confusion ensued, as the Magic Crystals showed terrible signs, even the powerful dark magic entities displayed by the Magic Crystals, rendered them unable and eventually shattered into pieces.

"Izin reported as well, Your Majesty. The situation of the capital is also nothing to worry about, crowded and safe as usual" said Kenan, bowing his head for a moment before speaking.

The king's eyes looked downward with a facial expression indicating that he was thinking. Queen Caitlyn sitting next to her spoke on the subject, saying, "this has never happened before, has it?"

"I mean ... Magic Crystals that break like that" continued Caitlyn.

"Based on the history that had occurred a century ago, just a few days before the great war enveloped almost the entire Continent. Our Magic Crystals also show the same signs, a truly dark magical entity, but not until it breaks." King Aiden seemed to be speaking with a low-key gaze, he spoke while recalling the history recorded in many books.

"Al, what do you think? Can you interpret what we saw last night?" cetus Queen Caitlyn stared softly at the figure of the man in white uniform with a golden complexion that stood beside Weiz. The old brunette man was Al, one of the guards of the palace library.

"Like what happened last winter, the suddenly dark Magic Crystals had a different multi-talker. However, with the rupture of the crystal, many books explain that the sign refers or conical to something related to power," continued Al.

"Saking the magnitude of the power captured by the Magic Crystals to be conveyed or shown to us, causes a conjunction of the flow of magic residing within the crystal, thus causing the rupture of the Magic Crystals like what we saw last night, Your Majesty," Al continued back, and finished speaking.

King Aiden tried to calm his mind which had started to rummage into various things that were not. He leaned against the back of his silver-glassed throne seat, and looked at Weiz as he asked, "are there any mail or information from the neighboring kingdom that might be connected to this strange incident?"

Weiz responded by saying, "nothing at all, Your Majesty. There were no letters or information from other kingdoms, they were silent and nothing happened."

The gaze of the king slowly shifted, turning to his side and looking at his beautiful queen as he asked, "what do you think?" request advice.

It is clear that Queen Caitlyn's heart is not fine, even her forehead tends to wrinkle with a bitter look. The beautiful and graceful queen seemed to be very worried about sharing things. He simply replied, "people's security is more important, we must pass on guard until there is clarity."

King Aiden's gaze again led to the five people standing in front of him, especially to the two people in royal armor uniforms and said to the two, "Franz, Kenan, can you do what the queen said?"

Kenan and Franz lowered their heads immediately and said, "we will do it, Your Majesty. We won't disappoint," in unison.

"Weiz," King Aiden's attention went to his confidants and continued to give his word, "send a letter to Victoria and Lagarde, tell them about this Magic Crystal!"

"Okay, Your Majesty," Weiz said, bowing his head.

"Welt, you're flipping the royal magician's patrol!" king Aiden told his eldest son.

Welt nodded and said, "well, set up soon."

"Al, go back to the library and keep this confidential ...!" the king continued to Al the custodian of the library. Al nodded, lowered his head and obeyed the order.

The last commandment of secrecy seems to be directed not only to Al, but to all the people in the throne room this afternoon. King Aiden seemed very emphatic to say, "not only to Al, but to all of us in this room. Don't let the public know what happened to our Magic Crystals, because it will only cause speculation and public panic, and I don't want that to happen."
