The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
New Friends #108

Less than two hours have passed. The large-sized sailing ship slowly started to break out of the storm after being battered all-out by the many ferocious high waves. All sailors and passengers of the ship no less or lost, complete and safe. It's just that there are some of them who are injured and also injured due to the many collisions and hurls from ship shocks due to the impact with a terrible sea wave.

The large sailing ship came out of the storm in a still solid state, starting to enter the sea that was calm again. Everyone on the ship heaved a sigh of relief with excited gazes when they realized that the ship was starting to enter the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Neverley, aka slowly entering the Eastern Continent.

"Hows it? You okay?" asked the blond man standing right beside Altezza who was standing on the front deck of the ship, he was an adventurer who had helped him when in the middle of the previous storm.

Altezza smiled, shook his head before replying, "it still feels like it's shaking now," with a casual tone and even a little laugh when he speaks.

The blonde-haired man laughed, smiled, and looked out at the ocean. In the distance there is a large island and one of the large ports belonging to the Kingdom of Neverley. But the size of everything that was seen still looks small, because it is still very far away. Most importantly, the ship was out of the storm, even though everything was wet.

Altezza looked back, looking at the scene of the storm sky that looked creepy among sailors who were busy stabilizing the screen by moving and tying several large ropes behind him. The skyline was extremely poor, and it was from the South - just like what the receptionist's lady had said earlier. Nature seemed to run amok in that direction, and managed to make Altezza wonder about the reason why nature could suddenly get angry in his mind.

"Since last night there have been frequent storms and bad weather like that, and they all came from the South. I don't know what's going on there, but whatever's going on there seems to be upsetting nature" the blond-haired man said, speaking with the same sight as Altezza. He turned around like Altezza, and saw a very dark storm cloud far behind the ship.

Still drifting in all the question marks in his mind, Altezza until it looks like a person who is daydreaming. Seeing and hearing this certainly attracted the attention of Altezza to find out what was really going on, and the reason behind the suddenly unfriendly nature.

In the middle of the Altezza was daydreaming with the view of continuing to look towards the storm clouds that were far away and further behind. The blond man in a light brown robe and a sword hanging on his belt turned to him and spoke, "by the way, introduce ...! My name is Eugene, and I'm from Lagarde."

Altezza smiled, split from his daydream, turned his head and replied, "i am Altezza of Zephyra, greetings and love to know you, Eugene." He seemed really happy because he felt he had friends after a long trip a few days passed mostly alone.

"Where are you going, Eugene?" altezza asked the young man who looked not much older than he was - perhaps about two years above his age.

"In addition, I have read many books, that there are recorded many myths and history that are still a mystery in many parts of the Kingdom of Neverley" continued Eugene, turned his head and looked at Altezza beside him with a small smile.

After giving the answer, it was Eugene's turn to ask, "how about you? What makes you wander?"

Since it was Eugene's turn to ask, it was Altezza's turn to answer. He slightly raised his gaze towards the sky and then said, "maybe more or less the same as you, but my goal is more specific in one place."

"Then how about you join us?!" suhut Eugene with enthusiasm and eager attitude. It seemed like the nature of the blond haired man was a bit jolly and excited always.

Altezza frowned, looked at the man standing right next to him and asked, "we?" repeating one of the words that Eugene said with a questionable expression.

Eugene nodded, "I will meet my two best friends who seem to have been waiting there," he said, looking towards the Eastern Continent, which was slowly approaching as the ship sailed closer.

"If you want, I can introduce you to them, who knows you're interested in joining us!" eugene continued, not yet finished talking he continued to talk again by saying, "adventuring alone it feels different when compared to adventuring with friends."

Altezza's gaze slowly flung back towards the vast ocean before him with an expression as if in thought. What Eugene said in his last sentence was indeed true, and that was how Altezza had felt these past few days.

"I'll think about it until we get to the harbor" Altezza said.

Eugene tampank smiled enthusiastically and said, "i'll look forward to your decision later!"
