The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Southern Border of Zephyra #114

The Southern Border of the Zephyra Kingdom, the Central Continent. The sky in the region looked extremely hostile, raging with lightning that continued to strike and thunder, very dark in color but not lowering the water. The comparison can be seen clearly if you see the sky in the North direction is still bright orange than the sky in the South. Although only the sky looked dark and terrible, the residents who lived in the local villages immediately chose to leave from there overwhelmed by feelings of panic and fear. The cavalry of hundreds of people walked through the grasslands in the South, and in the entourage there was King Aiden and Kenan who wanted to make sure firsthand how the conditions in the Southern Border of his country.

Still on top of his white horse, King Aiden seemed to stare with a look of disbelief toward the South. He does not see with ordinary eyes, but also uses his magic eyes. A mysterious dark-colored magical entity shrouded outside the border, and made the surrounding conditions turn cold even to the point of freezing the forests on the border. From a distance the king can also see his people who appear to be scattering out of the forests towards him, they look very small because they are still very far away.

"Evacate the residents, move them to a safer place!" the first word that came to the king's mind to his soldiers, "the archers and sorcerers took over the highest positions on the border!" the king gave instructions.

Carrying out the order, the cavalry set out first, approached the villages close to the border, and took the people from there to a safer place. Now only the rest of the king with one of his guards riding a large horse in a dashing black that is Kenan. The best knight of the kingdom did not see any magical power behind the dark sky in the South region, but the weather he had never seen made him believe that the South was not doing well.

"Well, all day long have you not received any messages from the Mystick Kingdom?" asked King Aiden without turning his head or glancing at Kenan who was beside him. The view of the king still stared intently at the Southern sky which was really thick, really dark like a thick black veil.

"Nothing at all, Your Majesty." Kenan answered the question. A moment later, Franz came with his horse and was also asked the same thing by the king. But Franz's answer was the same as Kenan's.

The situation was quiet for a moment, with the wind blowing quite strong on the green grass. King Aiden monitored all the movements of his soldiers that could be seen from his current position, they moved like ants because the distance was quite far. Not long after, a prince in a white robe rode on a horse that had the same color as his robe seemed to be approaching from the North. The crownless prince was Welt who had just come with a silver-colored magic wand that he had brought.

"The intensity of magic is very strong and exactly the same as that shown by our Magic Crystals some time before, and it is true that the power does come from there." Welt spoke with both irises in a beautiful light green color, before slowly fading the green light and returning the iris to its original black eye.

"What do you think of this, Welt?" muttered King Aiden, glancing slightly towards his eldest son who was now close to him.

The king seemed to swallow his saliva with a facial expression holding quite deep anxiety over what he saw at this time. Thundering again sounded and this time it sounded louder to make the four important people equally surprised. The blaring sound was followed by a flash of blue light that appeared at the tip of the Southern sky, and revealed a small figure that seemed to float behind the dark veil.

"Franz, Kenan, tell the troops to pull back immediately ...! Escort the refugees to the capital, we will leave the Southern Border of the Land of Zephyra." King Aiden instantly gave directions to the two after seeing a small black silhouette that was visible thanks to a flash of lightning just now.

The two people he appointed immediately carried out his orders, while the king himself immediately spurred his horse to return to the capital hundreds of kilometers from his current position. Welt chased the king's white horse, and aligned the steps of the horse he was riding.

"What's your decision?" asked Welt, a little shouting because the pace of the two horses made a very loud sound of footstroke.

Without turning his head and glancing at the slightest King Aiden replied, "The Southern border of Zephyra will be moved emergencyly to the Pearl Region, and we will build a monitoring center as well as a military base in the region!"

"Can you handle the communication with Lagarde and Victoria?" king Aiden turned his head and asked Welt.

Welt nodded, "you can count on me about that!" answer with certainty.
