The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Departure #78

A few weeks later.

The scenery and atmosphere are highly anticipated by a young prince named Altezza in the Kingdom of Zephyra. Soft sunlight, warm atmosphere, and snow slowly began to search, revealing the green scenery that had previously been buried by the cold snow. Altezza stood in the middle of the flower garden beside his palace, and watched the beautiful flowers that were slowly starting to bloom again.

A beautiful morning in early spring, a season much awaited by Altezza. The prince looked impatient and very enthusiastic, as he was about to begin his long journey to the Eastern Continent. He decided to leave in the afternoon, today.

Altezza had arranged all his preparations, and had also arranged all his necessities which he should stay in the palace. Kenan, with his new position, replaced Altezza behind his desk, and ready to take responsibility for all the tasks usually done by the young prince. No one else, Altezza entrusted all these things to Kenan.

"There is a spirit and enthusiasm apparently," said King Aiden, walking up to his youngest son who was enjoying the calm and warm atmosphere among the flowers that began to bloom.

Altezza looked at his father, smiled and said, "thank you for allowing me to travel!"

King Aiden seemed to smile, walked a few steps forward, then stopped, looked at the beautiful and bright blue sky as he said, "Caitlyn has spoken much to me about your dream of becoming a wanderer."

The red-robed king-robed man then looked back, looked at his youngest son and spoke again, "go to places you've never explored, learn many things, and go back, and make friends with many people, Altezza."

"I realized that you are no longer a boy who must always be organized in everything" continued King Aiden, coming back to the man, and standing right in front of him.

"Take care of yourself, Altezza. And remember, all decisions and whatever you do today, can affect your tomorrow and your future" continued King Aiden, then smiled with a serious look as usual.

Altezza was very calm and cool, especially when he heard everything his father said. On the other hand, he thought that all the licensing decisions made by King Aiden were also due to the role of his mother.

"Thank you, Dad."

...

Time continued, and there came a moment where the young prince came out of his castle fortress. In this very bright afternoon. Altezza was already standing in front of the capital's fortified gate, sent by King Aiden, Queen Caitlyn, Prince Welt and his wife Clara, and the last was Kenan. Not only the four of them, but also attracted the attention of many royal people who also witnessed the departure of the second prince Zephyra.

Altezza was seen wearing simple clothes, gray clothes with black robes, dark trousers, as well as the shoes he wore. There was a sword sheathed neatly and hung around his waist, and a brown backpack he carried on his back.

Queen Caitlyn looked delighted, smiling, but with teary eyes. He hugged his youngest son and said, "don't be long gone, and don't forget to send a letter often ...!"

Altezza chuckled, smiled and responded, "I can't promise to not be long, but of course I'll send you a letter" shortly after Caitlyn let go of her embrace.

"Be careful, there's a lot of bad guys out there, Altezza. Don't be disinclined by them" said Welt, smiling slightly at his sister.

Not only the King and Queen and her brother, Welt, looked sad. But Clara and Kenan also seem saddened by Altezza's decision to travel. It will take a long time for Altezza to return.

"Hurry back, yeah ...!" clara said, smiling slightly at Altezza with a slightly teary look.

Altezza just smiled at them, before then his attention was on Kenan who seemed to want to cry in front of him. The loyal bodyguard who almost always accompanied him anywhere and under any circumstances, now looked sad to him who was about to leave.

"Well, I'll be back, so there's no need to be so deeply sad like that" Altezza said, stepping a little closer to Kenan.

Kenan tried to smile, "I will always wait for your arrival, Your Majesty. Whenever it is, I will always be here for you" he said, then rubbed his pretty wet eyes with one of his arms. But Altezza was instead seen smiling and laughing, because he had never seen the figure of the best knight of the kingdom shed tears.

A few words of farewell have been conveyed by his family, now is the time for Altezza to depart. The man was already on the verge of the great gate of his royal fortress, and his gaze was already staring at the green expanse that still looked wet from the snow that had just melted away. The first step was taken by Altezza with a very excited and enthusiastic mood, he slowly walked through the large gate that opened wide.

"Tu-wait! Your Majesty, wait!"

A familiar voice in both ears, made Altezza stop his steps for a moment when just a few steps out of the gate. He then looked back, and saw the figure of Bianca running towards him.

Bianca stopped her steps as she was near the Altezza, and bowed with a gasp of breath. The woman's eyes then looked at Altezza and said, "i think I'll be late."

"Your Majesty, I want to give this to you, just think of it as a reminder of your hometown if you are missing it" continued Bianca, giving a simple light green bracelet to Altezza.

Altezza smiled as she ran after him, "you bought this for me?" tanyanya, received the bracelet with one of her hands.

"I made it last night, Your Honor." Bianca was still panting, answering the question.

Light green bracelet with a texture that feels soft like small knitted silk. Altezza smiled hearing that the bracelet was handmade, "really? Thank you, Bianca. I'll wear it always" she said, then wear the bracelet.

"Your Majesty, take good care of yourself, and do not get sick in the middle of your journey. I'll look forward to your return" Bianca said, staring deeply at Altezza with her two beautiful light brown irises that looked quite glassy.

Altezza smiled with his gentle gaze making eye contact with Bianca, "i'll send you a letter, so don't forget to reply, yes ...!" said it.

Bianca nodded enthusiastically, smiled happily and said, "I will look forward to your letter, Your Majesty!"
