Hundreds or even thousands of bats never go away, even more widespread and propagate damaging agricultural fields close to the village. Many villagers are trying to dispel, even they have brought some torches to repel bats that are not supposed to roam in the middle of the shining sun. But the effort did not bring results alias nil, instead making the small bats increasingly fierce damage the farm.
Altezza took the initiative to help, he walked down a little hillside, and walked down the dirt path leading to the terracing fields. The man in gray and wearing a black robe now stands at the very top of the terracing, and is very close to the thousands of bats that still damage the plants.
His sword was still neatly sheathed, hanging on his belt. Without such a sharp weapon, Altezza merely stretched out one of his hands as if to grab something, and closed his eyes for a moment. In just a few seconds, a gentle gust of wind began to feel and get louder, creating a barrier that blocked the bat from attacking the plants anymore.
All the villagers who saw him could only be silent, stunned in awe to witness a magical power that they rarely saw, because their farm fields seem to have a protector made of wind and limit and make the movement of bats can no longer attack their plants.
"How could he do that?" asked Iris, standing next to her mother with her little sister Aria.
"Wind spirit!! Mother, Brother, the wind spirit is coming!" aria exclaimed with a radiant gaze, staring towards Altezza who was standing quite far away in the top terracing field.
A man in a mud suit dressed in white and brown pants came up to Olivia and asked, "who is that young man?"
"He was a wanderer from Zephyra who had just stopped by our village" Olivia replied.
"Papa, look! Brother Altezza was surrounded by the spirit of the wind" said Aria, pointing towards Altezza.
"Australia ...?"
Altezza just stood there, without even moving a single bit. His calmness was truly incredible, even his current body could be seen surrounded by a gentle breeze. The bat group could not touch even a little plant in the farm, and finally they gave up, flying back into the forest located not far from there.
The wind that had previously been blowing fiercely, was now slowly sluggish and returned to normal. Altezza's eyes slowly opened, and gazed out at the forest where the bats were leaving with suspicious gazes, before returning to Olivia and her family.
"Thank you for helping to get them to leave" the man told Altezza, "from yesterday they were very often harassing our farm" he continued.
Altezza simply smiled and then said, "it seems that something made them fret, so they often entered and harassed the settlement."
"Sister, big brother is so cool to call the wind spirit and chase them away!" cetus Aria, suddenly standing right beside Altezza, slightly raised his head to be able to look at the man. Altezza just laughed a little, as well as Olivia and Iris when watching Aria who looks happy to see the figure of Altezza in front of him.
"Include me, I'm the village chief of Blissville, my name is Liam" said Liam, who turned out to be the village chief.
"Village head ...?" muttered Altezza seemed quite unexpected with what he heard.
...
After the field, and all the residents returned to repair all the damage done to their farms. Altezza returned to the house that apparently belonged to the village chief, and he only found out about it after a few hours had passed.
"It's an honor for me to meet you in person" Altezza told Liam, the village chief.
"You have something that makes the bats restless, so they are disturbing our farms and settlements. Is that true?" liam asked, seriously, because this problem will greatly inhibit the growth of agriculture in his village if not immediately resolved.
Altezza nodded and said according to what he saw, "yes, their movements are not like bats in general, let alone they are clustered flying under the hot sun," he said.
Liam folded his arms over his chest, and seemed to be thinking. Iris came up to the two of them with an empty tray in one of her hands, before filling the tray with Altezza and Liam's empty cup and saying, "i'll refill."
"Thank you" said Altezza.
"If it's not wrong the Kingdom of Lagarde is having a mining cave project located not far from this village, does it have anything to do with these bats?" liam said, then asked by looking at Altezza.
Altezza himself did not know about the mining project, but it seems to make sense, "it might be possible," he said but then asked, "where is the cave you mean? Is it close to this village?"
Liam nodded, "yes, tomorrow I will show you the place, it doesn't take more than fifteen minutes from this village to get to the cave" he replied.
Amidst the slow conversation it had begun to be quiet. Aria got closer and asked Altezza, "can you show me that wind spirit again?" with his gaze as if begging for it to be granted.
Altezza smiled at Aria, and seemed to remember the children in his kingdom some time ago when he invited her to play in the snow. The man replied, "alright!"
Aria seemed to smile happily, and could not wait to see the wind magic that she referred to as the wind spirit. Altezza slightly raised his right hand, and then just flicked his finger once. The gust of wind slowly felt soft, and centered on his right palm to create a small wind vortex.
"Wind spirit!!" aria exclaimed, it was great to see the magical tricks shown by Altezza.
"Can I touch it?" aria asked, looking at Altezza with a short distance away.
"Sure! This wind will not hurt you" replied Altezza.
Aria stretched out her index finger, and slowly brought her finger closer to the whirlwind created above Altezza's right palm. The little girl looked a little scared, but her fear was piled up by a much higher curiosity. When the tiny index finger touched the vortex of wind, the wind instantly split apart, and slowly crept around the finger until his hand with a gust that felt very soft.
"Wind likes you, Aria" Altezza said.
Smiling merrily, that was Aria's current joyful expression as her right hand was enveloped by the gentle gusts of wind she could feel, "Papa, look! Aria is playing with the wind spirit!" yells.
Liam smiled to see his little daughter happy. He then looked at Altezza and said, "thank you for making him happy."
"Sister Iris, look! The wind spirit is in Aria's hands!" cetus Aria when he saw the figure of his brother who came with two cups of syrup on the tray. The little girl showed how wind magic enveloped her right hand to Iris.
