The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Playing with Shiro #24

The next day, the last day of preparation before tomorrow where the feast will begin. The situation of the palace this morning was very crowded, a lot of servants and palace guards were busy preparing everything for the party tomorrow. There will be several places used for the party, namely the front yard of the palace, the courtyard and the garden beside the palace, and the main hall of the palace. The three places have been prepared today, a lot of beautiful decorations and dominant trinkets with beautiful light blue color that has been installed.

On this morning Altezza's activities were not much, or rather not much he could do. He seems to be spending his time this morning with Shiro, a white eagle. There are some things he wants to know about Shiro, especially yesterday he learned that the eagle can adapt to his magic.

Altezza chose a place that was not crowded among all the crowded places, namely the backyard of the palace, a place where he practiced. Only this place was not crowded, and thus he could freely use magic here.

"You really look very unique, Shiro. I think it's time you showed me something you're hiding?" altezza said to his pet who looked very tame perched on his right arm.

After Altezza finished speaking, the white eagle seemed to answer with its distinctive voice, not too loud and shrill. Shiro then spread both of his wings, and slowly flapped them, making him fly easily.

Altezza smiled to see the eagle flying high enough on it, and just circled in the same place around the palace backyard, not moving away from the location. But the smile faded, the waist-rattling looked at the eagle, and looked puzzled.

"Well, now ... how do you do, yeah ...?" muttered Altezza, lowered his gaze, and looked confused and thinking.

It was as if the eagle understood that Altezza was confused, because it seemed to be silent and did not move or take any action. The white eagle lowered its height, and let out loud noises. Shiro then simply flew on the spot, right in front of Altezza, and he quickly flapped his two wide wings with just one flap, and suddenly a gust of wind big enough to emerge from the flutter hit the body of Altezza to make the white clothes quite dirty because of the dust of the ground.

Not angry, instead Altezza stared in admiration at the white eagle, and then smiled happily while cheering, "you are really cool!"

Seemed happy to get the praise, several times the eagle re-created a gust of wind that he aimed towards Altezza. The breeze is very strong, making dust and leaves fly, even to make the eyes of the Altezza difficult to see. Luckily Altezza used his wind barrier, to protect himself from wind gusts that were like sandstorms.

"Ohuk!!" Shiro was visibly excited, several times making loud noises, constantly attacking Altezza with the wind he created without stopping.

Altezza doesn't want to stay silent, "okay, now what if it's my turn?" he then gave an attack towards the eagle flying before him. The man creates a ball-shaped lump of wind in one of his palms, and then throws the ball towards Shiro from behind the wind barrier he made.

"klii-iiw~"

A loud voice rang out, and made Altezza stop his barrier because Shiro had already stopped attacking. He was worried about the attack he made and directed at Shiro, but again he was amazed because the white eagle was easily repelled and neutralized his wind magic. Shiro's body looks like it is being enveloped by a gentle breeze, already very similar to Altezza when talking to his wind.

From a distance, Kenan ran towards him and looked quite surprised, "Your Majesty, why are you so dirty? Your shirt ...."

Altezza then looked down, examining the white formal dress he was wearing, very dirty full of dust and dirt. The man chuckled and said, "have played around a little with Shiro."

"What are you coming to me for? Aren't you free today and not too constrained by duty?" altezza continued, stepping closer to Kenan along with Shiro who is now perched on his left shoulder. Shiro's body was quite large, to the point that Altezza's head had to be slightly tilted to the right.

"Um, there is a little ... duty to you from Her Majesty the Queen, Your Majesty." Kenan took a letter that he kept neatly in his pocket, and then gave it to Altezza. The man looked quite cautious as he reached out and was about to give the letter to Altezza, both eyes could not escape from a large white eagle that currently perched on the left shoulder of his prince.

Altezza received the letter, gave a sudden chuckle, and then said, "I just found out you're pretty scared of an eagle."

"Sorry, Your Honor. Not that I was afraid, I was quite horrified if he suddenly attacked, his beak and grip were very strong. Are you okay?" sahut Kenan, ending with the question.

Shiro suddenly spoke several times with a less noisy intonation as he spread his wings wide, staring at Kenan with his gaze. It was as if he knew what Kenan was talking about, and he looked like he wanted to scare the casually dressed man of the knight.

Shiro's behavior suddenly invites laughter Altezza who of course realize, "uh, he is trying to tempt you," he said, speaking to Kenan.

Shiro regained his composure after Altezza spoke and laughed for the umpteenth time. Kenan just chuckled, "it seems .. he's not as horrible as what I think," she said, smiling.

Altezza immediately opened the letter given by Kenan, and then read what duties the Queen or mother had given him. When he saw the task, he actually wanted to complain, but was reluctant to remember that the one who gave the task was the Queen.

"What is his duty, Your Majesty?" kenan asked, apparently also curious about the contents of the letter given by the Queen.

Altezza gave the letter and replied, "making sure of some things regarding the preparation of the feast at the palace," he replied with a flat tone.

"Here you go, I better get changed first" continued Altezza, then left the courtyard to re-enter the palace. Not to forget Shiro, he had also prepared feed for the eagle in a small bucket he placed at the end of the field, and then let it fly freely as he pleased, because of course he could not bring the eagle into the palace.
