The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Wandering Decision #61

It was a very calm and beautiful night, with snow continuously falling nonstop. Slowly the city and the palace were shrouded in snow, and grew thicker with time. No more green-green trees, grass, or bushes. There are also no beautiful flowers scattered in every garden in the palace. Everything was slowly covered by the white of the snow.

The cold air was so pronounced, especially at night. Altezza with his warm clothes that are like white royal robes, can be seen standing on the second floor terrace or balcony of the second floor of his palace, looking at the view of the garden next to the palace which is visible from above. The actual scenery remains beautiful with a view full of snow, but feels bland. The small garden lights that stand along the cobblestone streets of the park appear brightly lit, and the gazebo of his favorite places also appears bright white. It's just, quiet and quiet. Shiro is usually in a large and spacious cage located in the corner of the park. But now the cage is empty.

Altezza had looked towards the night sky, and looked towards the visible moonlight, just that there was no sprinkling of stars that are usually often seen in the night sky of the Land of Zephyra. Once hope flashed in his mind, when he looked at the sky and the moon, Shiro suddenly seemed to fly up there. But it's just an unrealized hope.

Winter has arrived. It only crossed his mind to decide to travel in the middle of this season. But the decision he had made, the young prince abandoned his intentions and postponed it and planned to leave after the winter had passed. This extreme climate is certainly a major consideration for the Altezza.

"Something's not okay, huh." The soft voice of a very familiar woman in Altezza's ears suddenly sounded from behind.

Altezza turned to the side, finding the figure of his beloved mother who was standing right next to him in the warm red robe he was wearing. Although the man's facial expression looked ordinary and flat, he could not seem to hide his gloomy feelings from Queen Caitlyn's beautiful black eyes.

"Still about Shiro?" caitlyn asked, turned her head and smiled at her youngest son.

The prince nodded slowly and replied, "yes, I .. It is undeniable that I am still sad about that."

"But on the other hand, I have something ... a little .. bothered my mind lately" continued Altezza.

Caitlyn stared deeply at the handsome face of her youngest son and then asked, "what's been bothering you lately? Is there anything you need to tell me or talk to me about?"

Altezza turned his head and looked deeply at his mother before then replying, "maybe a little."

Altezza's gaze turned again towards the night sky, before then continued to speak, "i have decided to go on a journey in the coming spring."

"But the problem is, I haven't spoken to my father at all about this decision. I'm not sure it would go well if I had to talk to him about this" Altezza continued, then turned his head and looked at his mother in confusion.

Caitlyn smiled at the expression of her youngest son who looked uncertain and afraid, especially after hearing what Altezza said, she immediately understood that her son was facing doubts.

Not saying, Altezza replied just by shaking his head. Looking at the answer, Caitlyn immediately smiled and said, "then why do you consider that to be a problem? Though you yourself have not tried to talk to your father."

Altezza was instantly pensive, silent, realizing that what his mother had said was the truth. He has not tried to talk to King Aiden about his decision, but he has guessed the reaction and what response King Aiden has to do with his decision.

"If ... mother how?" altezza asked while looking seriously at his mother.

Caitlyn smiled and replied, "your own mother supports your decision, as long as it's good."

Queen Caitlyn seemed to be very supportive of the decision made by Altezza to go wandering wherever she wanted. But it is not yet known whether King Aiden will also support the decision made by his youngest son, or even the opposite.

"Well, I will find time to talk to him" said Altezza, looking back at the night sky and then saying, "the end of the King is always busy, even our dinner today she's not present," with a little bit of an intonation.

Caitlyn was instantly made to laugh at what her son said, "want how else, right?" he said, smiling and looking up at the same sky that Altezza saw.

"By the way, will you be able to help my mother tomorrow to the port? There are some things you have to finish there" Caitlyn continued, turning her head and looking back at her son.

Altezza's movements seemed confused to answer the question, and of course the reaction can be seen clearly by Caitlyn. With a bad taste of course, Altezza replied, "sorry, but I have an appointment to take someone for a walk."

"someone? A walk?" cetus Caitlyn, looking suspiciously but with a thin smile when looking at the movements of Altezza who tends to hide his face.

"I-iya," replied Altezza then chuckled to himself.

Caitlyn secretly laughed as well, and seemed to smile at the blushing expression of her youngest son, "you will definitely only be together with the person you are inviting, right? Then tomorrow I will take Kenan alone to help transfer food from the port," he said.

"Happy ...!" the woman suddenly spoke with her lips close to one of Altezza's ears, and spoke with whispering intonation to him. Although not told who the person will be invited by the youngest son of the road, but based on the expression of Caitlyn currently smiling at the face of Altezza, it seems he has been guessing who the person is.
