The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Letter to the House #87

It's getting late, and Altezza should get some rest. Carrying his backpack, he walked towards a small building in the backyard of the village chief's house. When he opened the wooden door, he could see a room that was very simple, clean, neat, even the floor was elegant teak wood. In the room there was certainly a bed that was located close to the window and only enough for one person, a wooden cabinet, and a wooden cabinet, as well as a study table that already has a pen and some paper on it.

Altezza put his sword on the study table, and he put his backpack up near the cupboard, before sitting on the bed. Small, but feels quite soft and comfortable.

Shortly after, Shiro came and stayed at the wooden window of the room. Altezza looked at the glowing white-haired eagle with a warm look, smiled slightly and spoke, "you want to help me send another letter, right?"

Answering the question, Shiro nodded his head twice, and chirped like an ordinary bird instead of a predator. Seeing these answers and reactions, Altezza sat down at the study table, and then immediately began to write a few sentences on a paper that he had torn into small pieces.

The man dressed in ashes and in a black robe seemed to smile at himself as he wrote the letter he was about to send. Not only one paper tear, but he made one more letter in a different paper tear. It did not take long, Altezza had written a few small sentences on the first paper tear, and a few small sentences on the second paper tear, before he then rolled the two paper rips into small pieces.

Altezza slightly tore a leather tie from his bag, and then tied the small leather strap to Shiro's right leg. The man looks very careful and painstaking when tying the rope, because of course he does not want to tie it too tight so as to make the animal in pain. Once the bond is attached, it is ensured to be strong when carried by Shiro to maneuver and fly quickly. Altezza took the two twists of paper he had previously placed on the table, and then put the two papers on a leather strap that was now attached to Shiro's right foot.

"This letter is for the palace, and the second letter goes to the royal women's dormitory." Altezza spoke while showing the two letters in quick succession to Shiro.

When the two small letters have been attached and certainly will not fall when taken flying by Shiro. Altezza sighed, looked at Shiro's sharp yellow irises and said, "i'm counting on you, and I believe for sure you know who these two letters should be given to."

"You underestimated me, Altezza ...?"

A gentle and polite voice rang out inside his head, responding to Altezza's last words. Hearing the voice heard, the man seemed to chuckle and spoke, "deliver the two letters to them," with a smile etched on his face.

The white eagle then spread its wings, before flapping it to make it fly very high and very quickly disappear from sight. Fly under thousands of stars and moonlight that shines brightly tonight. Beautiful scenery at night, and never boring despite being seen many times.

Altezza closed the window with his white curtain, before lying on the bed and slowly closing his eyes to rest for a while. The place was simple yet very cozy, warm, the same atmosphere of warmth as when in his palace room.

Shiro flew very quickly, flapping both his wide and large wings, crossing several regions in just a matter of minutes. The white eagle flew below the beautiful night horizon studded with stars, and above the dark night clouds. There was no other creature other than her that was currently flying at night.

Several times the white-haired eagle flew around the palace first, before then approaching a window located in the main building of the third-floor palace. Shiro flapped his wings, flew in place like a letter-sending pigeon, and knocked on the large window that was covered in a white curtain from the inside with his powerful beak.

A beautiful, long-haired, light-brown woman appeared to approach the window of her room, and opened the curtain. His two black irises opened wide, looking at Shiro's figure waiting for him to open the window for him.

"Shiro, what's wrong?" queen Caitlyn said, the window opened, and Shiro stayed there.

Caitlyn's gaze was fixed on Shiro's right foot, seeing two pieces of paper rolled. He took one of the papers in front, and read it.

"Thank you, Shiro," Queen Caitlyn said as she took the letter.

Shiro again spread out his wings, and then flew back after the letter reached Queen Caitlyn. The queen-titled woman looked at Shiro who was already flying in the sky, and smiled slightly at the eagle.

Fly a little past the capital, and towards the edge of the city. Shiro looked at a dormitory that stood firm with a spacious courtyard, and then flew closer to the dormitory. The eagle turned slightly to the side of the dormitory, and then alighted on top of a pipe that was right in front of the window of a room on the second floor of the dormitory.

The window looked very dark, covered by a white curtain from the inside. Shiro tapped on the window glass with his beak, calling a reddish-brown girl closer and opened the window.

"Shiro? What are you doing here?" bianca asked, staring with an expression quite surprised by Shiro's presence.

Shiro's head bowed down while chirping, and raised his right leg slightly, showing the girl that he had a letter addressed to the girl before him. Bianca immediately sensitized, she immediately picked up a small letter that was rolled up and tied to Shiro's right leg, and then unrolled the paper to read it.

Bianca seemed to smile happily with her gentle gaze as she read a sentence written quite small on the tearing of the paper that was now in her hands. Feeling that his task was done, Shiro left again, flapping his wings and flying into the sky until he disappeared from sight.

"Thank you, Shiro ...!" muttered Bianca, smiling and looking towards the night sky.
