The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Arcadia #122

A quiet night in the middle of the forest. Altezza really enjoyed his time when he was in the Eastern Continent, the continent that became the destination of his adventures. The atmosphere in the middle of the forest is actually more or less the same as the forests in the Land of Zephyra. But there are still some differences, in terms of vegetation there are some plants that are rarely seen in the land of birth. In addition to vegetation, wildlife in the forest also looks slightly different from the animals in the forests of Zephyra.

As the night before, Altezza was still awake when both of his friends were sound asleep behind their warm sleeping bags. Eugene and Alaia are already sleeping near the extinguished campfire, while Aaron is still awake like Altezza. They both sat on a large rock close to the extinguished campfire, and talked to each other while spending the night.

"From yesterday you seemed restless at night, is there anything you want to tell me, Altezza? Who knows it could make you a little more relieved" Aaron said, looking at Altezza who was beside him.

Altezza let out a heavy sigh, lifted his head and looked towards the dark cloudy night sky, "i only miss my hometown" he said.

Aaron chuckled lightly and smiled at the reply, "not only you, we also harbor the same feelings."

The wind tonight does not feel too cold, cool and really calm anyone and anything that he hits. The rustling sound of the leaves of the trees rang out - many times as if there was no stopping of it being blown by the wind.

Altezza's gaze was still on the night sky, and was anxious that something was coming from up there. A few minutes or even an hour had passed, but nothing came of what he had been waiting for. The black-haired man turned his head, looking at Aaron who seemed busy cleaning two daggers with a gray cloth.

"Have you ever contacted or sent a letter to someone in your house?" ask Altezza.

Without looking back or glancing around because he was so engrossed and focused on cleaning the weapon, Aaron answered the question by saying, "using mail delivery services."

"Where is that?" sahut Altezza looked very curious - because he had never used the service, always using the help of Shiro the white eagle.

Aaron paused his activity, turned his head and replied, "are you going to send a letter?" inquiring.

Altezza looked back at the night sky, nodded and replied, "yes."

"I don't know if in the nearby villages there are services or not, but if in the capital there is definitely." Aaron resumed his activities with his dagger, now he continued on the second dagger after the first clean.

"Better after arriving at the capital alone, it happens that Alaia will also use that service, he said, and the distance from here to the capital also only requires another day if it is calculated with a break of at least 30 minutes" Aaron continued.

Altezza did not comment more, choosing to follow Aaron's advice, though his gaze still stared at the night sky with a feeling of waiting for something to come from there. Confusion had crossed the minds of Altezza, "wind does not invite me to speak, is it possible because there are them? Then also Shiro did not come, when usually every heart needs him he is always present," the inner Altezza questioned things that felt awkward not as usual.

"May all be well" muttered Altezza spontaneously with very low intonation.

Altezza shook his head and replied, "nothing, I only speak to the wind myself."

Aaron chuckled and smiled, "has it become a custom or tradition for the people of the wind to speak to the wind?" tanyakanya.

"More or less so," muttered Altezza with a small smile, and now with a bowed look at the collision of firewood that had been charred without fire.

Returning to continue the journey when morning arrived, a group of four travelers including Altezza was now entering a tropical region with beautiful natural scenery owned by the Eastern Continent. Standing on a cliff both Altezza's eyes were wide open with both pupils enlarged, amazed to see the beautiful place before his eyes, bewitched by the natural beauty of the region.

Large area with wealth and beautiful natural scenery. In this place there is a large and spacious lake with very clear and fresh water, some green hills and surrounded by mountains, and there is a village established not far from the lake. Above the hills seem to be used by some villagers for farming, while at some point the edge of the lake appears to stand small piers with wooden boats leaning there.

"Superior ...!!" alaia exclaimed, smiling happily and looking cheerful. Similarly, Eugene and Aaron, they also looked very happy and stunned just like Altezza when looking at the natural scenery in front of them.

"Arcadia region, this is a beautiful tropical region before we will reach the capital," Eugene said, smiling widely.

As usual the blond man named Eugene told Altezza about the region, "you know what, Altezza! The mountains that surround the Arcadia region are interpreted as natural fortresses, because it looks like protecting anything around the lake."

"And there is also a history that the Kingdom of Neverley had set up a military base here during the great war a century ago" Eugene continued.

"They set it up around the lake, and-"

Not yet finished speaking, Eugene's words were cut off with Aaron's breath that seemed to move away with Alaia while saying, "the most historical began, deh ...!"

"Hey, wait a minute! I'm not done talking ...!" sahut Eugene exclaimed to Aaron and Alaia who had gone a little further down the edge of the cliff.

Altezza was still standing near Eugene, and only smiled and laughed at the behavior of the adventurers. He then continues to walk with Eugene, following Aaron and Alaia who are further away.
