The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Continuing the Journey #89

Three sorcerers from the Kingdom of Lagarde came, in white uniforms that became synonymous with their kingdom of pride. They came, and then stood up and before the mouth of the cave, carrying their wand before then starting to cast spells. Liam and Ethan were silent, standing behind the three sorcerers, and waiting for the results of what they were doing. Likewise with Altezza, he kept silent and listened to what spells came out of the mouths of the royal witches.

The long white staff carried by the three sorcerers was lifted slightly to the sky, and then glowed golden yellow, before then the plants in the forest looked fresher and even made trees that had not previously flowered now flower. The atmosphere felt different, fresher with a gentle breeze.

Altezza smiled watching one of the natural magic that often became the main lesson in the academy. The effect of the magic creates a calmer natural atmosphere, as well as the animals that inhabit it. Even with such magic, predatory and ferocious animals such as tigers can be tamed easily. But behind great magic, it still has consequences. Therefore, Altezza was not surprised that the Kingdom of Lagarde sent three sorcerers to cast and use the same magic.

"The first stage is over, now let us take care of some of the scaffolding that is still lying here" Ethan said after the three sorcerers lowered the staff.

The iron-armored soldiers who joined Ethan then moved, and removed many scaffolds and mining objects that were left alone in the cave.

Liam was still confused by the result, because he did not really understand what the sorcerers actually did. The man looked at Ethan who was standing in front of him and asked, "will those bats not disturb our farm anymore?"

"They won't damage the farm anymore, as long as we humans don't disturb their homes" Ethan replied, smiling casually.

"Is it like that, Altezza?" asked Liam turned to Altezza who was standing next to him, looking to confirm that.

Altezza happily nodded, answering the question, "the magic they use is the magic of restoring nature, restoring nature, creating the tranquility of nature, and winning the wild animals in nature so as not to attack humans," said it.

Liam smiled happily at the answer and then said, "thank you so much for helping" to Ethan. Not only Ethan, the man also thanked Altezza who had also helped him.

...

Late in the afternoon, Altezza returned to the village with Liam after finishing with all the problems involving the cave and the abandoned mining project. The Lagarde Kingdom had also left, returning to the capital after solving all these problems in just a few hours.

Today also Altezza can not spend another night in the village, especially if you have to trouble the Liam family again. The man decided to continue his long journey to the Eastern Continent that afternoon as well. But before leaving, he intends to say goodbye first to Liam and his family who have received it for one day.

"You're leaving again?" liam asked, standing in the front yard of his house with his family.

Altezza stood in front of them, and already carried his luggage in his backpack. He nodded and replied, "yes, I have to continue the journey, because my destination is still very far away."

"Thank you for taking me for a break and staying here for the night" Altezza continued.

Olivia smiled looking at Altezza. The middle-aged woman suddenly went back inside her house for a moment, "a little while, Son Altezza," she said before moving inside.

"Sir traveler, come by here sometime again, yeah! Bring the white bird too!" aria exclaimed with her cherry expression, standing right next to Iris.

"Your presence brings color to this house, Altezza. Moreover, Olivia had wanted to have a son," said Liam, smiling happily looking at the figure of Altezza in front of him.

"While talking about me ...?!" cetus Olivia, back out of the house with one hand carrying a tote bag made of wooden twigs and containing several types of fresh vegetables. Liam chuckled at the presence of his wife who apparently heard what he was talking about.

Olivia's attention then turned back to Altezza and said, "we have a few hands who knows who can help you travel, Altezza," while giving the bag to Altezza.

"It's really troublesome, I can't mene-"

"No! This is not at all troublesome for us" Olivia said, interrupting Altezza's words.

Iris who was standing next to her two people with her little sister smiled and chimed in, "this is also one of our gratitude marks, she said, because thanks to you we can bring in the official government and solve the pest problem on our farm."

"Receive this gift, Altezza." Liam spoke with a smile that seemed almost always on its back.

Altezza received the gift, "thank you very much" he said.

"Be careful on the road ...! Take good care of yourself, Altezza," said Iris, smiling gently and reluctantly letting go of her gaze to the male figure standing in front of her.

***

The long journey continues. Altezza felt very grateful for what he had just experienced. The supplies increased, and he did not have to worry about running out of food to get to the big port of Lagarde Kingdom which is hundreds of kilometers away.

Step Altezza again walked through the forest, and met with the darkness of the night. The silence returned, after the harmony and warmth he had just felt last night. Although Liam and his family were people he had just met. Yet they were very kind to him, and really warmly welcomed the newcomers like him.

Liam and his family live in simplicity, which has never been felt by the figure of Altezza who has palace life, everything is luxurious and provided. Even though one night Altezza stayed at the residence. But he received a lot of learning implied from the experience he had received. They can still feel happiness, and often gather with all family members despite living in simplicity without luxury at all.

In the middle of his walk, Altezza looked at the night sky that looked as beautiful as the night before. The man seemed increasingly enthusiastic and eager to continue his adventure journey. In his left hand he carried a wooden bag containing some fresh vegetables.

"But if my luggage is a lot, it seems like I will have a hard time if I have to face a wild animal." Altezza paused his steps for a moment, and moved some of the vegetables into his bag that could fit all of them. In fact, he also folded the tote bag, and tied it right on the side of his backpack. After that, he continued walking in the dark forest.

"What else will I face tomorrow?" muttered Altezza, wondering with a look towards the sky, and looking curious, "being a wanderer seems not bad," he continued, then looked towards the front.
