The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
The Wind Speaks #67

"Altezza, you are one of the precious things that I have, this country also has. If you go wandering, not only the palace, but the country and the kingdom will also feel empty." King Aiden was still speaking with a serious look at his youngest son.

The man in the red king's robe then turned his gaze toward the garden beside the palace seen from the top of the second-floor balcony, before then again saying, "also realize that the power that is in you is very valuable and rare, not owned by others."

Altezza understood in what direction King Aiden was discussing the subject, "yes, I know all the risks involved if I come out of the royal palace and fortress."

"But I have made up my mind!" continued the young prince, staring confident King Aiden who looked still hesitant to make a decision on what his son.

King Aiden heaved a heavy sigh with his gaze inclined downward, even he had a glance and saw the sharp gaze of his son who looked really determined to go wandering. With a low-sounding yet very serious intonation, the man said, "i'll think, wait until the end of winter ...!" before turning around and about to walk away.

"I don't care what father's decision is, whether you will allow me or not. To be sure, no matter what happens, I will still go wandering in early spring!" altezza said, affirming his decision with a sharp gaze, and an ego that looks quite high. Seeming not to pay much heed to what his son said, King Aiden then just left from there leaving Altezza alone.

The roar of the white horse sounded very clear, and it quickly went through the main street of the capital, before then exiting through the main gate of the kingdom. Snow slowly fell during this cloudy day. Altezza rode his horse in the snow, continuing to run towards the South, until entering a fairly dense forest.

In the forest Altezza slowed down the steps of his white horse, until it came to a banyan tree that stood firmly in the middle of the field in the forest. The young prince stopped his horse right under the banyan tree, and then got off the horse.

A banyan tree that stands firmly in the middle of a field, and is covered by thick snow. Altezza leaned against one side of the tree trunk, and sighed with a look at the branches of the tree as well as the dense foliage on it.

A gentle wind blew against the man's body as if he was inviting himself to speak, "is there anything that is making your mood bad?" a soft voice sounded and spoke to him. There was no one in the current location of the Altezza, only himself, the trees, grass, and wind were always gently blowing around him.

Altezza shook his head in response to a question he had heard, "it's just that I was at a loss how to convince my father to let me go on a journey" he said later.

The wind that had previously gentled gently with a cold atmosphere, slowly turned slightly warm as if it was trying to comfort itself. Shortly after the change in the warm wind, the voice of the woman again sounded very softly and politely speaking, "does this make you any better?"

"You can always cheer me up and make me better, thank you." Altezza smiled happily, and spoke back, alone. There was no visible figure or someone he was talking to, because the wind that spoke to him did not have a form.

"Without me having to show myself, you should have known and seen what I am, Altezza. We've met even for a long time, it's just that at the time you might not be aware" replied the gentle and polite voice surrounding him.

Altezza looked puzzled by the answer given by the wind. But the confusion was immediately explained by something invisible, "you should have known or read a book about how or what 'The Power of Nature' is'."

Hearing that brief explanation made Altezza smile again, "right, you can be anything you want" he said.

SreeK ...!!

The wind suddenly blew away after hearing the sound of frictional leaves coming from behind the trees. Not long after, a black-haired man with a mature brown complexion, and with a simple light brown dress suddenly came out from behind the trees with one hand carrying a bunch of dry twigs.

"Your Majesty?!" the man was surprised to see Altezza under the banyan tree. It seemed like he was one of the nearby villagers who was looking for firewood. It was still within the jurisdiction of the Zephyra Kingdom, so it was no wonder that the man knew the figure of Altezza.

"Who's looking for firewood?" altezza asked to confirm, smiling at the man.

"Yes, Your Majesty," said the man, "I did not expect to see you here. What brings you here, Your Majesty?" he continued while walking a little closer to Altezza.

"I thought there was a good place to find tranquility, so I came here to rest" replied Altezza.

The man looked quite nervous when he met someone very honorable, but his work would not be finished if he just kept silent, "yes it is, Your Majesty. I have to go back to collecting firewood" he said.

Altezza smilingly nodded and said, "please, nice to meet you."

After the village man actually left from there, look no further. The wind again blows gently and feels warm to accompany Altezza, spending time relaxing for a moment in a soothing place, not disturbed by anyone and anything. There was only himself, his horse, the wind, as well as the natural vegetation that cooled the view despite being covered by the white of snow.
