In the darkness of the night, the first prince of the Kingdom of Zephyra, Welt, suddenly found it difficult to sleep. He was already in his room, and had been wearing casual clothes and was ready to rest tonight, even his wife, Clara, was seen soundly in bed and under the thick white blanket.
A strange feeling enveloped his heart, agitated, afraid, and as if he was worrying about something. The feeling mixed into one, without any clear reason, even Welt himself did not know was agitated or afraid or worried about what and who. These feelings haunt him suddenly, and make it difficult for him to sleep tonight.
Welt decided to leave his room, walk down the hall before going up to the third floor of the palace, and head to his study. In that very cold, silent and dark work space. The first prince walked up to his desk, and then took out a magic ball made of tiny crystals from inside the desk drawer.
Both of Welt's eyes widened in shock, watching the magic ball that should have shone brightly, instantly turning dark and extremely dense. A very dense dark aura was indeed felt, and it now enveloped the crystal ball in its entirety.
"What is this ...?! It's not natural for this ball to turn black!?" muttered Welt, looking very confused by the condition of his crystal ball.
The prince placed his magic ball on the table, and then went to look for a book among the many books on the shelf right behind his desk. One two parts he passed, three and until the fourth part the man found the book he was looking for. A book with a pitch-black cover, no book title at all, only pitch-black and plain. The book is also quite thick, having over 300 pages.
Welt placed the book on his desk, and immediately opened and searched for one of the hundreds of pages. He found a sentence that was the answer to the question and his confusion with the magic ball suddenly turned pitch-black. The page that had an image of the same magic ball as hers, and showed the change of the magic ball from the originally shiny light turned dark.
"The palace's "magic ball turned pitch-black, and very dark, a harbinger of darkness and a day of destruction that no one ever knew when it would happen. The prince of darkness has prepared to threaten the various nations of the earth" wrote one of the lines on the page.
"Darkness? Destruction day? Dark prince? No way, right?!" murmured Welt, not immediately believing what he read, although the events described in the book are exactly what his magic ball experienced. Without a second thought, Welt immediately brought the magic ball with the book out of his study.
Welt left his office, went down the steps that led him to the ground floor, and then headed to the second building of the palace. Through the courtyard as well as the central garden, it led to a passageway at the first intersection, and its steps eventually led itself to the palace library. The door of the palace library was kept guarded by two guards with iron armor covering the entire body, they lowered their heads when they saw the presence of Welt, who was, before Welt finally opened the door of the company with magic and went in there.
"Good night, Your Majesty." A man in a library guard uniform looks to welcome Welt's arrival by lowering his head as a sign of respect.
"Night, Al." Welt greeted the man named Al.
"What makes you visit a midnight library like this? Is there anything I can help you with?" al asked, raising his head back.
"Well, if you need me, please call me, I'm at the front desk" Al said. Welt only nodded before then he moved towards the stairs.
The forbidden part of the second floor of the palace library. Welt walked among the enormous bookshelves looming high in the forbidden section, and then looked for the book he wanted to read. Before searching for a book, he placed a moment of a dark-colored magic ball and a black-covered book he had brought from his office on a long table that was on one edge of the bookshelf.
Welt took one of the many books on the shelf, and then placed it on the long table. A book with a solid black cover, without a title, but the front cover of the book there is a small five-star angular motif at the bottom, as well as the image of the black eagle silhouette with a small size as well but its position is at the top of the cover.
The first prince immediately opened the pages of the tome, arrived at the page he was looking for, and then read the many writings written there.
"The palace's magic crystal ball turned black" Welt murmured, looking for it among the many sentences on the page.
"Dark black, a sign of darkness is coming."
"But in other words this is just a sign that a country is about to enter a difficult period because of the coming winter."
Welt's mouth couldn't stop talking, reading, and muttering. The man seemed to be trying to understand what really happened, because the answers he found on this page were very ambiguous and could refer to various things. But in the middle he read, the magic crystal ball that was beside him suddenly changed back slowly to its original color, white and shiny.
"What the hell is going on?! Totally confusing!!" gusar Welt, annoyed to be played by the changing circumstances, even more interpretations about the change of the magic ball to black which further confused him.
But when he returned to flip through the pages of the book. Welt came across a sentence that caught his attention, regarding a black eagle, and this may be related to the vision that indicates the existence of a black eagle with an evil aura that flew over the great wind magic belonging to his brother Altezza some time before.
"Black eagle, will look like an ordinary eagle in the eyes of a layman, but will be seen to hold an aura of darkness if seen using magic eyes. The black eagle itself is a sign of bad things to come for a country that he visited. A very identical feature is that the eagle is very interested in the intensity of natural magic and top-level magic related to nature," wrote the sentence that attracted Welt's attention when opening a few pages afterwards.
