The Story of the Wind Wanderer

The Story of the Wind Wanderer
Sudden Reporting #34

Midnight with a very cool and calm atmosphere. The night sky was filled with thousands of stars in the sky, only tonight there was no moonlight. The wind was blowing softly and slowly, yet it felt cold, perhaps even colder than the previous nights.

A large port, with such activity there is no time to rest. Every time there must be large sailing ships, anchored in every dock. It's just that if at night the big port is not too crowded or crowded, unlike in the morning to evening.

It is one of the major ports or major ports. Ships anchored there are on average ships coming from abroad, lowering passengers, or even lowering merchandise for merchant ships.

Among the people in the port. There was a movement of some people in robes and dressed in all black, entering the port area, and docked to a storage warehouse located at the end of the port.

They move by taking advantage of the darkness of the night, through the sidelines of the trees outside the harbor fence, and infiltrate without the knowledge of the guards.

Their numbers are not too many, but they are still desperate to break through the port despite being guarded by several guards there. When it got right behind the warehouse that seemed to be their target. They began to split up to enter the warehouse, some took the right side of the warehouse, some left side, and one person climbed up without using any tools towards the roof of the warehouse. The man who climbed up was seen chanting something for both feet, before then he was really light like cotton, and could stick to the wall like a lizard.

It didn't take long, they managed to enter the warehouse, and took a lot of items from inside there. The average they took was the ingredients to eat, before then they also snatched away some of the treasures in sight.

"Have you really checked and confirmed everything?" suddenly there was a conversation between several guards at the front door of the warehouse.

"Of course" said a guard who got the question from his friend.

The front door of the warehouse slowly opened wide, and the clattering footsteps of the two guards were slowly heard entering the warehouse with the two lanterns they were carrying. So quiet, nothing was seen or heard in the barn.

"It's dark, I think we should ask for lighting in the warehouse."

"It looks so."

The conversation between the two of them was heard several times, with the step getting into the warehouse, through the many wooden boxes that contained foodstuffs.

But unfortunately the steps of the two of them must be stopped, with the dagger darting two black that suddenly thrown from behind the darkness towards them.

Jleebb ...!!!

GUBRAA!!!

"What-what?!"

Of the two daggers only hit one guard, while the other managed to survive because of the evasive reflex. The survivor jumped up to hit several wooden boxes, before trying to rush out.

"Invader!! There's a intruder-"

Craatt ...!!!

The surviving guard steps had just arrived at the threshold of the warehouse entrance. But unfortunately a man in a black mask and dressed all in black suddenly appeared behind him, and very quickly slit the guard's neck.

"Toooooooo ...! They already know our presence here" said another man with a black face-covering like his clothes, stepping up and stopping just behind the first man.

"Go back into the forest, for a while we hide first! Bring everything we can carry!" the man walked back into the barn, before disappearing as he touched the dark side of the barn, which was not exposed to starlight tonight.

***

Morning in the magnificent and vast palace. Altezza along with his brother Welt get a call to gather to the throne room of the King. Of course it is obeyed by both of them who immediately rushed at the same time.

"Isn't this too early?" cetus Altezza asked suspiciously and was curious about what the King really wanted.

"Let's go, we'll go there first" Welt replied, calm and relaxed, obeying the order without complaint.

The two princes walked together, through the courtyard and the small garden in the middle of the palace, and then headed to a passageway that would take them to the throne room. Inside the hall are several intersections that can take them to the other side of the palace. Truly a vast palace, even a new person may be able to get lost in it because of the many spaces, hallways, intersections, and other parts of the palace.

But it did not take long, the steps of the two of them finally arrived before the door of the throne that was plated with gold. The door was guarded by two royal knights, and they opened the big door.

Inside the throne room, the King was sitting on his throne with the Queen sitting right beside him. Under the throne, right next to a red carpet looks Clara who is standing there. There were only the three of them without any other palace apparatus, but in front of the three of them and on the red carpet, there was a male soldier kneeling down before the King.

"What's this about? All of a sudden," said Welt, approaching them, and standing right next to his wife, Clara. Altezza was seen standing next to his brother.

"Franz, report what happened!" king Aiden's word to the soldier who knelt and bowed before him.

The male soldier named Franz recaptured his head, and then immediately obeyed what the king had said.

"One of the food warehouses in the Port of Ormos, just at midnight, had an attack from the intruders, two guards were killed on the spot, and they managed to escape into the forest."

"Their features were dressed in all black, covering almost the entire body except for both eyes, and on average they used sharp weapons like daggers."

"Black clothes, and daggers?" muttered Altezza, frowning his forehead, draping his arms, and his gaze bowed, pondering after hearing the report.

Welt glanced at his brother, and realized that Altezza was assuming a lot of things in his mind. Especially when the characteristics of the perpetrator are mentioned, Altezza is like a person who is guessing something that he strongly believes in the truth.
