The Wear Apocalypse Book

The Wear Apocalypse Book
Rain carrier virus

Jean drives her off-road car at full speed to catch up with the sun that is about to set, plus a cloudy cloud that seems to be urging her to go home soon.

'Mister the massive spread of the virus will begin when it rains.' The system suddenly disturbs the concentration of Jean who is driving.

"Whatchu mean? So this virus will also spread due to rain? Don't viruses need a host to survive?" Jean does not believe the virus can be transmitted through rain.

'Virus can attack bacteria so this virus attacks all living things even bacteria contained in rain water.' Answer system.

"So people exposed to rain will be susceptible to the virus?"

"Yes even animals will be mutant animals." Jean increasingly wanted to rush home and remind the people at home not to get out of the fort.

The rain had fallen and soaked the city of J and the other cities. Jean watched as many people fought over food in the streets without knowing that the rain was going to doom themselves.

"Jean why have you been so long?" Merril asked when he finally saw Jean who had arrived in front of the house.

"Is that blood? Where's the wounded lady?" Merril was surprised to see bloodstains on Jean's white shirt.

"My grandson tell me where you got hurt!" Grandma Jean was worried too.

"I'm fine, it's just a blood stain because I killed a zombie on the way." Jean replies, she doesn't dare approach them because of a virus that can harm people without abilities.

"Cool! But where's Aunt Linda is she still in the car?" Mishael asked when he saw Jean just coming alone. Jean was confused when she was asked the question of Mishael.

"Jean what happened? Where's Linda? Wh-Has he been killed?" Merril felt fear when he saw Jean's bitter-looking expression.

"No, he wasn't killed."

"Then where did Linda go? And what about her parents?"

"He was taken away by his parents." Jean's mood returned badly. "I'll go take a shower first." Jean went straight to her room with a gloomy face.

"Aunt Merrill is Jean's sister any less kind? He didn't even appreciate Jean's sister who had rented the house next door." Liam asked furiously.

"It's not like that. If you were told to choose between a parent or a friend, which would you choose?"

"Of course, my friend. I don't want to leave Liam." Liam replied in a sure tone.

Merrill : "..."

Merril forgets that Liam has absolutely no idea what parental devotion is.

"Aunt Merrill teach me to make cakes! I don't want Jean's sister to feel sad anymore." Misael was also saddened that she wanted to please Jean with her handmade cake.

"But making cakes is hard. Are you sure?" Merrill asked once more.

"Of course I'm sure. I have found my determination and ideals now, so I want to become a chef!" Mishael said with passion.

"Misael if you manage to make a good cake don't forget to share it with me and Luna. I'm looking forward to your handmade cake." Said Liam who had managed to name his pink bear.

"alright. Aunty let's go make some cake, I want to surprise Jean." Misael wanted to learn how to make cakes.

"Liam why don't you go to Misael?" Grandma Jean asked.

"don't want. Making cakes is troublesome because it has to memorize food recipes. I just want to be a zoo keeper! Grandma tell me again about the animals." Liam is not interested in being a chef, he prefers animals that he finds funny.

Jean's grandmother didn't force Liam to have any good ideals at all so she happily told him about an animal Liam had never seen.

Jean checks around his house with a night telescope, seeing that the number of zombies has increased compared to before the rain flushed.

"It looks like the rain won't stop tonight." Jean notices the rain is not too heavy but still does not want to stop.

Jean stops checking outside and enters a room she has not checked in a few days. Jean had planted rice 3 days earlier and the rice had issued a grain that was still green and expected to be ripe tomorrow.

"Master tomatoes have matured, do you want to harvest tomatoes now?"

"really?" Jean immediately ran to find a patch of soil that he specialized in growing tomatoes. Jean took one tomato and tasted it. Tomatoes are crunchy when Jean bites them and the freshness of tomatoes is so pronounced.

"Is this really a tomato? It tastes so good." Jean had unknowingly finished off two tomatoes.

"of course. How could its quality compare to the bad tomatoes you used to sell in the market." The tone of the system sounds very proud.

"Well that's good. At least you have an advantage." The system was not satisfied with Jean's review once again.

"Suddenly I want to eat apples and watermelons. How long do apples and watermelons need to grow?" Jean is also a fan of fruit. In her previous life Jean could only eat fruit once a month because she had to save money but now it was different, she wanted to eat fruit and drink juice every day.

"The apple may be about 3-4 days, while the watermelon only takes 2 days." Jean then plants 10 apples and 15 watermelons, he is not afraid that the watermelon will become rotten if he forgets to harvest it because he has a system that remembers it and also he has a storage system.

Jean also examined her livestock which was originally only 1 pair but has now increased in number.

"This chick is very cute and the fur is soft, it feels like I want to shave the fur and use it to make a pillow." Jean said while holding the chicks that were still hairy yellow.

"Master is impossible. Will you kill the chick?" As much as the female system is soft-hearted and loves furry animals, but Jean has broken her perception.

"We'll just wait until we grow up and then I'll cut your neck." The chick seemed to feel a murderous aura from Jean so she ran away from Jean's hand.

"Why do chickens look so smart? Is this what you're doing?" Jean asked suspiciously.

"No, it's probably just your feelings." Answer the system that lied to Jean.

"really?"

"Of course, there's no way I'm lying." The system convinced Jean. Jean no longer asked the system and came out of the room after checking everything.

Jean continued her leisure activities in the room, lying down while reading the novels piled up in her room. He deliberately bought hundreds of novel books so as not to easily feel bored on the day of the apocalypse, he also did not forget to download hundreds of movies.

The sound of knocking on the door disturbed Jean who was reading.

"Aunt Merril this is so good, I didn't know auntie could make it." Jean praised.

"It's not me who made her miss."

"Then who?" As Jean recalled, no one in the house could cook but Merril.

"This is Mishael who made it." Jean then noticed Mishael who had come out of hiding.

"Is this really your handmade?" Jean doubted Mishael's ability.

"It was my hand made, brother. Back when I was living in the village I used to help make cakes before Christmas came, so I know a little." Mishael looked embarrassed.

"Good, develop your talent Mishael! Brother will pay you with a toy or whatever you ask." Jean eventually finds a replacement chef.

....

On the other hand, Adam and his secretary are trapped in his company's office.

"Sir Adam what should we do?" Noel looked panicked, they had been stuck from daylight. It started when one of the employees was infected and the employee started biting his co-worker.

"Quiet Noel don't panic." Adam himself was thinking of a way to get out of his office building. He had contacted his family not to go out of the house and wait in the basement.

"Isn't there anyone who can help us?" Noel unconsciously continuously improved the position of his glasses due to panic and nervousness.

"Let me look for." Adam rolls over his phone screen until he finds one of his best friend's contacts who might be able to help him. Adam then pressed the contact and immediately dialed a number that was his only hope of leaving.

"Adam what do you want to talk about?" A man's voice was heard after Adam called several times.

"I need help." Adam said without further ado.

"What the hell is going on?" The man asked, Adam then recounted all the conditions he was in.

"I can help you but I'm busy dealing with the army because the infection has spread here, can you wait?" Adam himself also listened to some gunshots that were heard several times.

"alright. How long?"

"It's expected that I'll be there in 2 hours, and one more thing, don't touch the rain." The other party immediately turned off the phone.

"How's mister?" Noel asked nervously.

"We'll wait about 2 hours." Adam said calmly.

"It's too long." Noel has walked back and forth several times.

"Patience, I'm worried too." Noel did not believe his boss could be that calm when experiencing events like this.

After waiting for almost 2 hours, gunshots were heard from outside.

"Sir, did it come to save us?"

Someone kicked Adam's office door from the outside.

"How friend? Are you feeling scared?" The man smiled as he stepped on the corpse of the zombie that had died from the shot on his head.

"Don't see Lane." Adam smiled.

"What's such a polite attitude?" Lane immediately came patting Adam on the shoulder.

"Thankfully I've heard you moved to this town yesterday, otherwise I might just have to wait to die rotting here." Adam kidding.

"Where's your toy gun? Don't tell me that it was confiscated by your grandfather too." The subordinate of the new captain Lane was stunned when he saw that their Brigadier General could joke.

"I didn't bring it." Adam answered honestly, he was not used to carrying a gun too often.

"How sloppy is it."

"Let's take me home." Inside the elevator Adam and Lane kept asking each other about the news of the family, Noel and Lane's subordinates just fell silent in an awkward atmosphere.

"When will this end? If this goes on I'm afraid our family will go bankrupt." Adam asked while joking at Lane.

"I'm afraid you guys I went bankrupt before the vaccine was found." Answer Lane.

"Why?"

"The source of the virus hasn't been found at all, I'm afraid the country will fall if it can't handle it like other countries. " Lane said seriously.

"You're saying this isn't going to be over anytime soon?" Adam frowned, it seemed like this matter was not trivial at all.

"Look, I'm sure the Browns will rise even as beggars." Adam was a little unhappy with Lane's words.

"I'm kidding. Actually the military wants to create a temporary shelter for uninfected people but we need a large place, Do you want to cooperate?" Ask Lane.

"What can I help you with?" Adam was a little interested in Lane's offer.

"I'd like to suggest your hotel as a shelter, as for the reason that it's because your hotel's perimeter fence is very high and it's suitable for defense." Said Lane.

"In addition, the community will lift your good image. I'm not asking for free and instead the military will compensate with supplies of food and drinks for the brown family."

"We'll talk later at my house." Adam and the others rushed down to the underground parking lot. Lane's subordinates deftly shot out several zombies that appeared right in the head.

"Don't get out of the car when it's raining unless pressed." Lane once again warns Adam and his secretary.

Adam's car was escorted from the front and back by Lane's subordinate car. Noel frowned when he saw that Lane's convoy was ignoring the one who was shouting for help.

"Why don't they help people outside?" Ask Noel. Adam was silent and did not answer
