30. Normal?

Jean, Liam and the five high school students gather on the street while cleaning up some zombies that are around, until it is safe to do the challenge.

"It turns out brother John is so cool, even I think our friend kinda looks like a loser." Nara praised how Jean killed zombies so quickly. Davin and Anthony gasped for breath after killing the zombies around, whereas Edwin could only curl up in fear.

"Okay, let's start the challenge." Jean said as she saw that they had finished cleaning the area.

"Toto forward." Liam orders Toto to stand in the middle of the road.

"Edwin, you're the only one challenging this time." Davin said as he wiped his sweat.

"I-i?" Edwin surprised.

"Of course, do you want Nara and Wenda to challenge?" Ask Davin.

"All right." Edwin could only give up and went to stand beside Toto.

"Listen to my words!" This time Jean became the referee. Toto and Edwin looked serious, while Liam, Nara and Wenda cheered them on.

"Available! Ready it! Start it!!!"

Before Edwin completed his first move, Toto first ran at his full speed leaving dust for Edwin.

"What'sit?" Edwin was startled and stopped running, Nara and Wenda stopped cheering, as did Anthony and Davin who glared at the deer running like the speed of a sports car.

"Come Toto!!" Liam was still cheering and not caring for Edwin who was still silent in shock.

1 minute later Toto managed to return and stopped in front of Edwin who was sitting on the street as if he was mocking. Nara, and her friends could only be disappointed, they were again defeated.

"Tonight you guys are on guard." Jean said as if not not noticing the disappointment on their faces, she then returned home first. The five high school students came back with lethargic faces.

"You two are really bad, bluffing people you just met." Olivia looked at the five high school students with pitiful gazes.

Nara and the others felt Jean and Liam were abnormal people, whereas Olivia, they still had a good impression.

"I'm not bluffing at all." Jean denies, she doesn't even know which part she's bluffing them at.

"I don't either." Liam denies it, and Toto shakes his head.

"Here you go, let's eat." Olivia doesn't want to argue because she knows she will be defeated by Jean.

Olivia made chicken soup, Wellington beef, and some sandwiches. Edwin involuntarily drooled and regained his senses after Olivia looked at him with disdain. They then sit around the dining table and take their own portions.

Jean takes the food first, then goes to her room. He could not expose his face in front of a new person he knew, it was also to prevent the plot of the novel that threatened his life.

Edwin wanted to add portions to his meal but seeing a sandwich that was only enough for one slice per person made him aware and refrained from asking for more.

"I haven't eaten such good food in a long time." Anthony let out a comfortable sigh while patting his slightly protruding stomach. There was the same expression on all four of his friends, except for three people who looked completely mediocre.

"Brother where did you get such a good thing?" Davin asked.

"From the forest." Jean answered briefly.

"..." - ".Davin was in no confidence at all, he had seen many strange looking plants as if they were mutating especially those animals. Since the other party was reluctant to answer honestly, Davin no longer pursued.

"You must keep your word, I'll go to sleep." Jean went straight to the room after storing the dirty dishes.

"Brother John is really scary." Anthony speaking.

"Sister Olivia, why can you put up with someone like that?" Nara ventured to approach Olivia who was washing dishes, according to her approaching Olivia means one step closer to food. The three men immediately ran away to keep watch for the night, they were not interested in the female gossip.

Nara and Wenda looked at each other as if they had understood something, they then ran in fear and immediately looked for their three best friends.

"What's wrong with you guys?" Anthony wondered why these two women were frightened and looked pale. Nara and Wenda told me what happened just now.

"You mean Olivia's a same-sex person?" Davin immediately caught what they were afraid of.

"I should have realized that none of the three of them were normal people." Said Anthony.

"I think they're worse than a robber. The other one has a spicy mouth, the other one is a natural showman and the last one is a same-sex lover. " Commentary Edwin. This time they all agreed with Edwin.

"Then how should we?" Ask Nara.

"But I admit, it's too hard to leave them." Anthony. The five of them recalled the food Olivia was serving with a feeling of nostalgia.

"Nara and Wenda stay away from Olivia, while the three of us don't have any problems at all as long as it doesn't bother John, especially Edwin." Davin immediately gave the order, none of them protested.

The next morning, Nara and Wenda had black eye bags adorning their faces because they did not dare to fall asleep at home.

"What's wrong with you two?" Olivia watched Nara and Wenda who were slightly haggard. The two of them did not answer even looking at Olivia, they also stayed away from Olivia as if they did not hear Olivia's question.

Jean also notices the five high school boys who today look quiet, unlike yesterday but she has no intention of asking.

"Linda why don't we join the shelter base?" A woman sitting in the front seat of the car asked, The woman is named Shani, she was rescued by Linda on the way along with her husband Jimmi.

"What is so special about this village?" Linda no longer answered Shani's questions. Shani can only sit with a grim face, while her husband Jimmi shakes his head, she knows his wife has become dependent on the feeling of security Linda gives them.

"Linda, I want to follow you. Can't you?" Shani makes a decision that she hasn't even talked to her husband yet.

"Shani-" Jimmi wants to reprimand his wife.

"All right, you can come." Answer Linda. Shani was happy, this way he no longer had to hide or be in danger.

When they entered the village, the atmosphere was so quiet that even zombies were nowhere to be seen, Linda did not know if this was a good thing or not.

The sound of the motor was loud and getting closer, they then saw a group of people with the face of the roar with tattoos all over the body, the person blocking their way.

Jimmi stopped his car immediately, he was a little afraid to see it. Linda got out of the car and stood in front of the car.

"If you want to enter, immediately release the weapons, transportation and supplies you have." One of the men ruled.

"You are not from this region, you have no right to blackmail us. " Linda was not afraid at all, previous events had changed Linda's mentality completely into a brave person.

"I'm changing my mind now, what if you play with us for a while, after that we'll let you in." The man looked at Linda from top to bottom with a c*bul look. Since Linda's ability to rise, Linda's body has changed, the fat in her body has been lost and displays beauty that is not realized by Linda.

"It's me, get out of the way!" Linda admitted it.

"Initially I kept this secret to surprise people but it seems that now there is no need." The gangster leader came forward and opened the jacket to show off his swollen muscles.

Shani and Jimmi look at the incident with fear, they are convinced that the leader of the group also has the ability. Linda looks serious this time, she already knows that sooner or later she will face her fellow ability users.

"Jimmi a-I'm afraid, can we just run away?" Shani looks pale.

"Whatchu mean? Do you want to leave Linda?! Don't you believe in Linda's ability?!" Jimmi looks cold, he did not expect his wife to be so selfish.

"Jimmi you see for yourself, the leader is not afraid of Linda's ability, you should already know." Shani tried to convince her husband.

"No! Listen to me Shani, we can't be selfish, you should be thanking Linda for saving us, if Linda doesn't save us, we've long since died rotting!" This time Jimmi was really angry.

"So you want your wife to be touched by them?!" Shane crying.

"I-I don't-don't mean that, you have to trust Linda." Jimmi's voice weakened, he didn't want to make his wife cry.

"Shani-" Jimmi feels a headache, he doesn't know what else to do.

"If you still refuse I'll kill myself in front of you." Shani out of nowhere gets a knife and points the knife at his neck.

"Shani what are you doing? Put down the knife." Jimmi was panicking.

"Jimmi, I want to go."

"Okay, okay, we're gonna go now, put the knife down." Jimmi had no other choice.

"No! I want you to start the car and get out of here."

"Y-yeah we're going." Jimmi immediately turns on his car and takes control of the steering wheel tightly, secretly he feels very guilty to Linda but he really has no other choice.

"Look at your friends, they even leave you alone so give up now." The gangster leader mocked Linda.

Linda just glanced back, there was no disappointment at all that appeared on her face, she had already experienced a similar incident before so she did not care much.

Looking at Linda who was still not afraid of making the gangster leader's face ugly. The leader of the gangsters then unleashed his own ability which lies in muscle strength.

"It's a pity, I have to destroy your good body." The gangster leader smiled proudly as well as underestimated Linda.
