Jean's journey home feels smoother than departure, she does not find zombies with abilities that are too troublesome, Jean also feels the trip this time is useful because it has made her meet a lot of new people.
A group of high school students who are in the back following Jean's car are currently arguing, they debate where they should go after parting ways with Jean.
"Can we just follow John? I want to eat and sleep to the fullest without having to fight with the undead?" Edwin expressed his desire to laze around.
"Yes Edwin is right, I'm not even excited to go back." Nara agreed to Edwin's speech.
"Then can we stop John from coming back? Or do we need to plan something to hold John?" A bad idea came to Wenda's head.
"Do you want to die?" Anthony glared at Wenda who suggested an evil-sounding idea.
"Then what should we do next?" Edwin again confused them.
"We can't rely on John, after all, does John want to take us?" Davin immediately rejected all the ideas of his friends, his four friends immediately felt disappointed.
"Davin's right, we have to be independent and not depend on John," Though it sounds difficult, Anthony agreed to Davin's remarks.
Jean who is in front is unaware of the inner upheaval in the group of High School kids.
The group of black off-road cars totaling 5 cars followed and preceded Jean's car, making Raes a little offended because he thought the car owner was deliberately provoking them.
"Boss do we need to chase the car?" Raes asked Jean.
"No need, if he wants to get ahead of us then let it go" Jean had no problem at all, he had the principle that he would not disturb the person if the person did not harass him.
Jean does not know that she will be reunited with the car troupe that precedes them.
"Major we'll be in a minute until J's city shelter base."
A woman wearing an army uniform opens her eyes, Sarah Potter who is Lane's older sister. He visited on the orders of his father to build an alliance of shelter bases officially led by the President.
Joe who was guarding the special gate was surprised when he saw the familiar car, the special gatekeepers including Joe then lined up neatly and saluted.
The brown haired lady who had a firm face came out, her eyes narrowed sharply towards the special gate attendant and said, "It seems that you guys have retreated too much since the disaster."
The gate attendant trembled when he heard Sarah's words. Sarah is not only famous for being the son of the Great General but is also famous for the training that is too tight on his subordinates including Captain Lane who is also trained directly by Sarah.
"Joe found me with Lane" orders Sarah to know Joe as a subordinate to Lane's trust. Joe takes Sarah's party to Lane's office.
"Sister??" Lane is shocked when Joe comes to take Sarah.
"Lane how are you?" Sarah immediately hugged Lane and removed the firmness she had just shown Lane's subordinates.
"I'm fine, what about you, brother? Are mom and dad okay?" Lane lets Sarah sit on the couch.
"Of course me and them are fine, mom is getting crazy about her research since the virus spread, while dad himself is getting busy taking care of the food availability in the capital," Sarah's voice was complaining.
"Why did you suddenly visit me?"
"Of course I visited on my father's orders, I myself was very busy taking care of one of the bases not far from the capital so there was no way I would come here just to miss you. I asked your shelter base to follow the alliance under the president's command, you can't refuse" Sarah replied.
"I knew this would happen sooner or later, if I could just hand over the leadership of this base to Adam or to someone else who had more free time," Lane did not refuse the order given by his father.
"Is Adam still alive? I thought she was dead because she refused to enter the military academy" Sarah's voice slightly insinuated Adam.
"It's not good to say bad things to someone who's still alive" Adam enters Lane's office and joins the two.

"Look at me now, I'm still rich with the shelter that occupies my hotel, so it's not wrong if I choose the business path" Adam was not at all offended by Sarah's remark.
"Then let's fight, I want to see how far your fighting skills go" Sarah told Adam.
"Sister, have you not awakened the ability?" Lane interrupts Sarah's joke.
"What do you mean this?" Sarah immediately showed her ability by lighting a fire that was golden red.
"Very well suited to the personality of the older brother," commented Lane.
"So do you have ice ability because it's always cold towards strangers?" Sarah initially asked just for joking but she was then surprised that Lane nodded.
"It seems that our abilities are born according to each other's personalities, then what about you?" Sarah asked Adam.
"I? I don't think ability always suits the nature of the owner" Adam also showed off his black flame in hand and burned half of the paper on the table as if cut by scissors.
"I think it's appropriate because other people see your nature as grim and sly, but why do I feel that your abilities are better than mine??" Sarah looked at the neatly cut paper.
"Of course his control of abilities is better, after all Adam has touched level 5," Lane answered Sarah's doubts.
"really? This damned brat dares to go ahead of me, then let's fight, I want to know how great your abilities are."
"Don't underestimate me, even though I'm still at level 4 but I'm more experienced in fighting so there's a possibility that Adam lost the fight between me and Adam" Sarah said.
Lane shook his head when he heard Sarah's words, he couldn't get in the way of her brother's will to fight.
Sarah and Adam then face each other in an abandoned land that Lane accidentally left as a training ground for soldiers, the refugees also rush to watch a show of fighting between Adam and a woman they do not know.
"Hey do you know the woman wearing the army uniform? I heard that the woman had just arrived half an hour ago, "A male refugee asked the refugee who was next to her.
"I don't know either, but judging by the emblem she's wearing it seems she has a higher rank than Captain Lane," the refugee next to her told the Guardian.
"Ah? So is this a fight to capture a shelter base?"
Lane does not know that the fight Sarah is asking for will make the refugees worried about moving the position of base leader. Lane simply ordered his subordinates to guard the limits of the refugees who wanted to watch the fight.

"Let's fight, '" Adam did not answer Sarah's question and chose to focus on fighting.
Jean on the other hand was surprised to see the shelter base that looked deserted from the gate, even the special gate was currently only guarded by some of Lane's subordinates whom he was unfamiliar with.
"Mr John," One of Lane's subordinates greeted Jean who got off the car.
"Has something happened at the base? Why does it look so lonely?" Jean asked the soldier.
"That, his brother Lane came to visit and invited Mr. Adam to fight in the empty field on the inside" the soldier replied.
"Oh, I think something dangerous happened," Jean was relieved and told Raes and the others to enter through a special gate.
"Boss isn't this the car that preceded us?" Raes recognizes one of the cars parked in a special parking lot.
"Yes, it seems that it was them," Jean felt that they were destined to be reunited with the car's owner.
"Oh yeah can I trouble you guys to enroll my friend into the base? They want to stay here" Jean enlists the army's help to get Raul, Abby and her son and Rollad with his wife into the base.
"Mr John, you also want to enter the base," Davin revealed the wishes of his best friend.
"Ah I almost forgot you guys, I thought you were going back to where you were" Jean replied.
"How could we dare, we have no ability at all," the five High School students looked at Jean with pitiful gazes as if not wanting to part from her mother.
"Why didn't you say it from the beginning? Then use this to awaken your abilities now," Jean handed over the pouch containing the white crystal nucleus to the five High School children.
Jean is not stingy to share the crystal nucleus with the five High School children, even he was actually a little sorry after knowing the five High School children were made slaves by Olivia.

Anthony awakened the ability of the land, Nara awakened the ability of the air, Wenda awakened the ability of the plant, and Davin awakened the ability of the metal, edwin was confused because he could not bring anything up after taking the remaining crystals.

after a long time I finally updated, sorry because I suddenly went on hiatus. This is because I had lost motivation to write and experienced stress due to my final college assignment.
I will not update often or even this story will drop because I think my writing in this novel is still lacking, I am not satisfied with my writing in this story.
But...
Some of my fans on the orange app still wish I continued this story. I think I should try to continue this story even though I will rarely update going forward.
So I won't update often because my expectations of writing in this novel are almost gone. Please understand 🙏
