"Miss thank you for saving Misael," Liam shed her tears, she did not expect that Jean would help her this much.

"Either. It's good to take care of yourself and your best friend first. Aunt Merril and Aunt Linda please take care of these two boys." Jean asks the two to take care of Liam and Misael's grave wounds.

Misael involuntarily whimpered in pain when Merril gave Alcohol to clean the wound on his back. While Liam was silent, only his face that occasionally shriveled showed pain. 

Jean looked at the wall clock that had shown at 7pm, it was time to eat Jean thought. "Is it finished?" Merril and Linda nodded.

"Well then let's eat, Liam you're coming with us for dinner." Jean had been holding back her hunger from now on, that was also the reason behind Jean not wanting to argue much with Lady Gill.

"Then what about Mishael?" Liam is worried about his best friend who is still fainting due to the wounds given by Mrs Gill.

"If he's conscious later, we'll prepare food for him" Merril said.

"Thank you" Liam is again touched by the care provided by Jean.

"Then let's eat, I've been starving since," Jean complained to Merril, while Randalf laughed at their lady who seemed to have a great appetite.

"I'm afraid that lady will become fat after this" said Merril who laughed along.

"No, that's not true! I won't be fat just because I eat so much." Jean said in a long voice, Liam and Linda laughed. Liam felt his heart warm today, he felt like he was again feeling a joy similar to his home in his hometown.

On the other hand, Mrs Gill rushed to the bank located in the city not too far from the village, she cashed the check and found that it was not a fake.

"It turns out the woman did have a lot of money. Who's the lady? Why have I never seen him in the village before?" Mrs Gill then forgot her thoughts on Jean, and went back to counting the money she got and bought new jewelry from the money.

Mrs Gill returned home showing off her new jewelry. "Bu where? Why am I just coming home now?" Tina Gill's youngest child wonders when she sees her mother just coming home when the clock is already showing at 9 p.m.

"Look, what about this new piece of jewelry? Nice right?" Lady Gill showed me the gold necklace she had just bought in town.

"Where did you get that money? Did you steal my money again?!?!" Mr. Gill was angry when he heard that his wife was buying new jewelry again.

"Dad.. Don't get angry, it doesn't hurt if mom buys jewelry" Tina defends her mother, she thinks that her father is too hard.

"If your mother keeps buying jewelry, what do you think will happen? How am I gonna pay your tuition and pay our living expenses?!" Mr. Gill vented his anger by yelling at Tina.

"Dad" Tina was a little afraid of her father's anger. Seeing that, Mr. Gill calmed down again and eased his emotions.

"My husband, I didn't steal this time. I got the money from selling the two children named Liam and Misael" Ms. Gill said.

"Where are you selling them?" Mr. Gill narrowed his eyes and looked at Madame Gill suspiciously. She wasn't afraid that Madame Gill would torture the two children, but she was afraid that Madame Gill might be involved in human trafficking.

"Just relax, I sold the two boys to a stupid woman. The woman seemed to know the village chief well," Mr. Gill was relieved to hear that.

"They bothered me when I tortured the two boys in the barn. They act like they're more capable than we are. I heard that the woman was named Jean, who had just arrived in this village," continued Mrs Gill who made Mr. Gill restless again.

"Who's the woman's name? Say it!" Lady Gill was shocked by her husband's reaction.

"A..what's up?" Suddenly Mr. Gill came forward and pulled the collar of Mrs Gill's shirt.

"Have you offended that woman?! Say!!" Mr. Gill glared at Mrs Gill as if to eat her alive.

"Dad!!" Tina yells and tries to pull her father's hand, Mr. Gill then regains consciousness and takes off Mrs Gill's collar.

"Tomorrow you must come with me! You've offended the Barkers!" Mr. Gill then leaves leaving behind a frightened-looking Madame Gill and Tina who is trying to calm her mother.

The next day, Mr. Gill was well dressed and sprayed a lot of perfume on his shirt. Tina looked at her father in surprise, then looked for her mother who slept in the guest room all night.

"Mom, wake up" Tina shook her mother's body a little rough because she was worried about her father's strange actions this morning.

"Whispering!!" Lady Gill snapped and threw Tina's hand violently.

"Mom daddy cheated!!" Said Tina who couldn't bear to see her mother go back to sleep. Madam Gill instantly came to a realization when she heard it.

"What did you just say?" Mrs Gill looked shocked when she heard her husband was having an affair.

"You should have been rude to me last night! You have cheated! Tell me who's that woman?!" Mr. Gill was astonished by what his wife was accusing him of, but before long his expression turned grim.

"I'm not cheating! I'm dressed so that the Barkers have a good impression of me! It's all your fault!" Mr. Gill glared furiously. He dressed neatly to make a good impression on Barker's family, but his wife accused him of having an affair.

"It's good that you get ready soon or I'll drag you" Mr. Gill went to leave his wife alone. Lady Gill finally realized that she had misunderstood.

On the other hand, Misael finally came to his senses and saw the luxurious looking foreign room "Am I dead? Is this heaven."

"Misael are you kidding me?" Misael turned towards the voice and found Liam dressed in white.

"Liam are you dead too?" Misael was surprised to see Liam sitting next to him.

"Stupid! Are you cursing me to die? We're still alive!" Liam flicked his finger at Mishael's forehead which made Mishael groan in pain.

"Liam don't bother Misael, he's still recovering" said Linda, who placed a bowl of porridge on the bedside table. 

"This isn't a dream? Then where are we?" Misael's eyes were watering so pitiful that when he saw Liam who looked fine, he was afraid that Liam would be tortured by Lady Gill.

"I managed to persuade Miss Jean that we might be free from Gill's house" Liam told Mishael everything he experienced last night.

"Then where is Miss Jean? I want to thank Miss Jean" Misael tried to get up, but the wound on her back made Misael feel pain again.

"Misael just rest, thank me when you're healed" Liam said.

"Liam's right, Miss is currently having breakfast, so just wait until you recover or when Miss sees you later." Linda agreed with Liam. Linda then left Liam and Misael in the room.

"Liam we have to thank Miss Jean, if she's not around then I won't know what our fate is going to be" Misael was both relieved and pleased that they were finally free from the Gill family.

"I know, eat first." Liam took the porridge that Linda had prepared and fed Misael slowly.

Meanwhile, Mr. Gill and Mrs Gill have arrived in front of Jean's house. Mr. Gill then looked at Linda who was sweeping the courtyard, then approached her.

"Linda, is Barker's family home?" Linda was shocked when she saw Mr. Gill and Mrs Gill coming to her.

"What does Miss Jean mean by sir?" Linda was a little agitated when she saw Mr. Gill, she was afraid that Mr. Gill would make things difficult for Ms. Jean.

"Yes, there is something I want to tell Miss Jean" said Mr. Gill kindly.

"Hurry up and call your Miss!" Lady Gill glared at Linda angrily and sounded impatient.

"So your attitude!" Mr. Gill reprimanded. Linda then rushed in and looked for Jean who was sitting chewing her snacks in the backyard.

"Miss, Nawat! Mr. Gill is looking for Miss!" Linda said in a panic.

"Why do people like to disturb my calm?!" Jean grunts angrily, she in her previous life is a person who likes to relax and does not like to get involved in problems. The lives of the rich are troublesome! Think Jean.

"La... What about Mr Gill? Is Miss going to throw him out?" Linda was a little scared to see Jean get angry.

"Send them into the living room." Linda rushed out towards Mr. Gill who was still waiting at the front door.

"Mr Gill please come in, Miss waiting in the living room." Linda said politely, Mr and Mrs Gill followed Linda. Mr. Gill's eyes were bright when he saw the vases and antique paintings in the living room.

"What's wrong?" Ask Jean directly without making small talk. Jean frowned as she smelled the pungent scent of perfume and Mr. Gill subconsciously looked at Jean greedily, thinking of how to introduce Jean to his eldest son.

"Who wears perfume? It smells so bad." Jean said as she fanned her face and hoped the scent would disappear. Mr. Gill's face looked very embarrassed, but Jean pretended not to know.

"Miss Barker, I'm here to apologize for my wife's rudeness yesterday, my wife has been sassy to miss." Said Mr. Gill who removed the awkwardness.

"Yes I've forgiven him, after all I don't really care" Mr. Gill was relieved, "But.. I want your wife on her knees apologizing to Liam and Misael." Jean continued, who made the smile on Mr. Gill's face stiffen.

"What do you mean?! I will not humble myself to a slave! Husband look at her, she's even trying to humiliate me!" Lady Gill shouted and complained to her husband.
