35. New prisoner

Jean knocks on the door of the rental room after finishing taking care of the two men trying to rob her. Liam then opens the door after making sure that the one who knocks on the door is Jean.

They then saw the two men being dragged by Jean, both of whom were unconscious due to Jean's lightning abilities.

"Your brother said that you took care of the rats outside, but why did you bring a human?" Liam watched Jean's two prisoners closely.

"They were both human beings disguised as rats." Jean did not want to explain the meaning, she was really sleepy and wanted to fall asleep immediately.

"..." - ".They finally know who taught Liam.

"Why do you always take prisoners with us? It seems like Raes and Rolland aren't enough." Olivia complained, with the addition of people then she would be exhausted from cooking for many people.

"Just calm down, I'll finish them quickly, after that I'll throw them away." After answering Olivia's question, Jean immediately walked over to the bed and fell into a deep sleep.

Raes and Rolland were terrified after hearing Jean's words, what did it mean to finish them off? What does it mean to kill them and then secretly dispose of their corpses?

"Sister, b-not I mean boss please don't dump us, we'll behave properly." Raes begs Olivia.

"I-I'll help, so please don't throw us out." Raes knelt down in front of Olivia and was followed by the five high school students who also felt insinuated, only Rolland who stood staring at Raes and the five High School students with confusion.

"What are you doing? Get on your knees!" Raes glared at Rolland who looked at him like a fool. Rolland could only kneel awkwardly.

"OK, from now on you're gonna take over my duties and I don't want any of you idlers." Olivia was very satisfied with them, this way she did not have to bother taking care of everyone with her hands.

Raes, Rolland, Nara and Anthony are ordered to clean their rental house, while Wenda, Edwin and Davin help Olivia in the kitchen.

"You cut the onion too wide, cut it again!" Wenda could only obey Olivia's orders and worked hard to cut the onions with a knife.

"Edwin watch every leaf you wash, there's still some trash in the leaves!" Edwin was also rebuked.

Jean agrees to Olivia's advice, taking a bucket of water and pouring it on both prisoners.

"Niel told me not to play with water while I'm asleep!" Jeff delirious.

"Jeff wake!" Nielsen had come to her senses first, seeing the group of strangers standing in front of her made Nielsen a little scared. He rocked Jeff's body with his elbow.

"You're so annoying." Jeff protested but he then kept silent and remembered that he was defeated by Jean.

Seeing that the two men were already conscious, Jean then asked, "I'll ask now, who ordered you to rob me?"

"We won't tell!" Nielsen refused, she had promised Joseph that she would not dismantle who ordered them.

"Just give up, we won't open our mouths even if you torture us to death!"

Nielsen prepared to attack Jean's group with her water skills, feeling that Jean's group was stupid for drenching them with water, but she did not get the slightest reaction from the water on the floor.

"What are you guys doing??!" Nielsen panicked when she could not move her abilities, as did Jeff who was trying to force open the handcuffs.

"I asked once again, who gave you the order to rob me?" Jean codes Edwin and Raes to stop tickling.

"Y-who gave us orders was Joseph, y-yes Joseph." Nielsen answered immediately.

"Joseph??" Jean does not know who Joseph is and does not know when he offended the man.

"Joseph's guarding the checkpoint." Jeff told them before Jean asked them.

"just fine. Do you often rob the comers??" Jean drew her face closer to Jeff and Nielsen.

"Y-yeah, t-but we never kill." Jeff answered nervously.

"really?" Jean doesn't trust them.

"All right I believe, but that doesn't mean I forgive your behavior of robbing immigrants."

Jeff and Nielsen gulped their own saliva, they were really scared of Jean.

"But this is also a good opportunity. Will Joseph be able to access the information of the refugees in the base?" Jean intends to use this prisoner to find Abby and her family.

"T-not all of them, some base managers and leaders are included in the secret archives that only the base leader can access." Answer Jeff.

"That's enough." Jean nodded in satisfaction.

"I want you to find out about Abby and Raul's family and their children. If you manage to find them, I'll take off the handcuffs that are in your hands."

Jeff and Nielsen looked at each other, they finally agreed to the conditions provided by Jean.

Jean moves the handcuffs to Jeff and Nielsen's hands, so they are forced to hide their hands in jackets.

"Joseph this is our result today." Jeff placed 20 white crystalline nuclei on Joseph who was currently resting at the checkpoint.

"Why so little?" Joseph complained.

"I guess you're misinformed, they don't store a lot of crystal nuclei at all." Nielsen did not accept Joseph's complaint and acted as if to blame Joseph.

"Okay, I was wrong. I think they have a lot of crystal nuclei, it turns out they're also poor." Joseph stared at the crystal core with a look of disdain, he greatly underestimated the poor people.

"Okay, this is enough." Joseph smiled kindly while putting all the crystal cores into his cloth bag.

"When can we get the information?" Nielsen asked with a worried face.

"Do you guys want to make me work late tonight?! If you want, add a 3 times more white crystal core than the one you gave me!"

"No, I-I just asked." Nielsen smiled wryly, her and Jeff's crystal nuclei had been completely depleted.

"Tomorrow at noon." Joseph answered briefly in an unfriendly tone.

Nielsen and Jeff return to Jean's rental home in fear, both of them fearing Jean will torture again.

"How's it?" Jean stood staring at the two prisoners while draping his arms.

"Joseph said that we could get the information tomorrow afternoon." Jeff chose to budge after arguing with Nielsen about who would tell the matter.

"Too long," Jeff and Nielsen stiffened, they were ready to be punished, "but still acceptable." Jean continues. They breathed with relief.

"If there's nothing else, please go and remember to bring that information tomorrow afternoon."

The two of them were preparing to return, but the smell of food suddenly came from inside Jean's rented house, their eyes both sparkling and guessing something in their hearts, this was the scent of curry!

"I-it can we-" Nielsen hesitated a little to ask for food, after all their status was that of Jean's prisoner.

"What's wrong?"

"Not so." Nielsen could only swallow his request.

"Boss, I want to give them this. Can't you?" Raes suddenly came while carrying a box of supplies.

"Whatever." Jean replied, He then went back inside and left Raes and his prisoners outside.

"You take this." Raes handed the box to Nielsen.

"I-this is?" Nielsen and Jeff were surprised, he did not expect Raes to give them food.

"Actually boss John isn't creepy at all, he's actually very considerate, I'm a prisoner just like you guys." Obviously Raes.

"really?" Nielsen did not suspect that Raes was also Jean's prisoner.

Raes then explains how he met Jean and how she treated him.

After hearing Raes' story, Jeff and Nielsen turn their previously fearful views into awe.

"Thank you brother, we'll serve boss John well." Jeff patted Raes on the shoulder in gratitude.

"But if you guys really want to follow us, I think it's going to be hard because Olivia recently complained."

"It's okay, we'll try to show that we're useful to boss John."

The two then leave feeling happy, by following Jean then they will not have to think about food.

Jean had no idea some people were thinking of ways to lick her just for the sake of food.
