Jean began packing her clothes into her suitcase at night. He put his clothes carefully when he saw the logos of famous brands, even his Ca*vin Kl*in-branded underwear which made Jean even more amazed by the lives of the rich.
'How rich I am now' Jean thought as she stared at her underwear.
"Miss, where is the lady going?" Merril asked, who seemed confused by Jean's behavior.
"First we're going downtown, then to N and other cities, so Uncle Randalf and Aunt Merril are ready, we're leaving tomorrow" Jean said. Merril was relieved that Jean had taken him away together, and he was a little afraid that Jean would never return home. Merrill then goes and tells Randalf about Jean's plan to take them along.
Jean decided to take them because it was impossible to let them know now about the fort that appeared suddenly and he decided to go to the city of N because there was a center of plantations and agriculture, and he decided to go to the city of N, there he would search for all kinds of seeds and livestock he could gather.
On the other hand, Emma and the 4 other servants that Jean had laid off gathered at the home of one of Jean's former servants.
"Emma do you know why Jean kicked us out? Does he know?" The former waiter named Erin looked panicked.
"I don't think so Jean wouldn't have laid off all the servants." Another woman gave her opinion, Emma just frowned without saying a word.
"Emma what if we get caught?" The woman named Erin was still panicking. Emma and 4 other servants colluded to steal the diamond necklace of Jean's late mother which cost more than 500,000 dollars, and who proposed the idea was none other than Emma!
"Shut up Erin! Each of you has received 100,000 dollars, use the money to escape!" Emma was finally impatient, she herself did not expect to be dismissed.
"Emma how can you be like this, it's your own idea to steal the necklace!" The others get angry because of Emma's attitude and start to blame Emma.
"I'm going!" Emma finally could not stand it and prepared to flee to another city.
...
"Are you ready?" Jean carries her suitcase and doesn't know about her ex-servant arguing about her mother's stolen necklace, after all she doesn't care if it's stolen, because on the day of the apocalypse it will also be worthless.
"Our lady is ready." Randalf and Merril are waiting ahead.
"Okay, let's go." Jean then leaves her home with Randalf in his car and Merril in the front seat, driving to the city center.
"Miss we're downtown, where are we going?" Ask Randalf.
"We're going to the shopping mall."
Arriving at the shopping center, Jean begins to look for a location where people sell vegetables and seeds.
"What girl do you want to buy?" a salesman looked at Jean closely and judged that Jean was no ordinary customer.
"Well, I want to buy all kinds of seeds that uncle has." replied Jean.
"how much?" The seller's eyes brightened after hearing Jean's request.
"How many kinds of seeds do you have?"
"I here have at least 35 species and each of them is ensured the quality of the seeds is very good." The seller began to overestimate the quality of his seeds and Jean was engrossed in hearing the seller like he was listening to a fairy tale. Jean not forgetting to ask the seller to send the seeds to one of his parents' company warehouses on the outskirts of town, then ask where people sell livestock.
"Miss why so long?" Merril and Randalf were worried because Jean was in a shopping mall for more than 3 hours. Jean doesn't let them go with her at the market, Merril in the car prepares to call the police if Jean doesn't return.
"I'm sorry, I forgot to talk to the sellers at the market." After being on the market for almost 3 hours, Jean felt tired and her calves felt heavy while walking.
"Let's book a hotel, I feel tired and want to take a nap." They then rush to the hotel.
"Wake me up when lunchtime comes." Jean books a luxury hotel room and leaves Randalf and Merril sitting on the sofa watching the news.
Jean falls asleep very well until Merril wakes her up for lunch at a nearby restaurant.
"Having ability is fun and practical." Jean's legs felt no pain anymore, as if she had never made such a grueling journey. He knew that it was due to an ability user who had incredible recovery power until he was refreshed after falling asleep.
"Jean, are you here?" A man suddenly came to greet Jean.
"It turns out Mr Adam!" randalf said, looking pleased with the man's arrival.
"Uncle Randalf and Aunt Merril are here too." Adam smiled kindly and did not underestimate the two people.
"How are you Adam?" Jean smiled at Adam. As Jean recalled, Adam was one of his close friends when he was in high school, and the Brown family was his father's partner.
"I'm doing fine. Why are you here? As far as I know you've rarely come out, especially since then." Adam knew Jean very well so he knew quite well about Jean's personality.
"I have a need here, sit down and eat with me here." Jean thought that Adam was a very polite man, and that his family had a very good impression of Jean.
"Well then I won't be polite." Adam took his chair and sat across from Jean and next to Randalf, Jean ordered food.
"It seems you've let go of everything" said Adam suddenly, Jean since the death of her parents very rarely smiled.
"Well, you know, it's impossible for me to continue to be sad" Jean said as she continued to eat her food,.
"Good, that's good for you. Next time come visit my family home, my father and mother will definitely welcome."
"Oh yeah, come to my house on June 27th with your family." Jean suddenly thinks of the Brown family, she does not want to watch Adam and his family die so she decides to save the Brown family by asking them to come exactly 3 days before the end of time begins. Jean was not a saint willing to save people, only she was a little unwilling to just watch those closest to her die.
As Jean recalled, the family of Adam was wiped out by being slaughtered by one of their family's enemies who had the speed ability exactly 10 days after the end times began, the death of the Browns was quite a stir because Adam was the one who first established a base of protection for the uninfected, it was very clear that Adam was a very good person. Jean looked at Adam with a complicated look.
'Could this be the feeling of the original owner of the body?' Jean awakens when she has a slightly unfamiliar feeling towards Adam. Jean in her past life was not a person who pursued love, therefore she felt strange when feeling the emotions of the original owner of this body towards Adam.
"Yes I'll give your invitation later to my parents."
"No, you and your family should come to my house or I'll be mad at you Adam." Jean pretends to threaten Adam, and Jean decides to save Adam. He thinks that Adam is a fun character, so there is no harm if he is friends with Adam.
Adam laughed at Jean's words. "Alright, I'll come little hamster." Adam then runs away before Jean scolds him for calling him a hamster.
"Merril, it looks like we'll soon be attending someone's wedding" Randalf told Merril.
"Yes, looks like we should get ready." replied Merril.
"Who are you going to attend the wedding? Why didn't I get an invitation?" Jean asked puzzledly, Randalf choked upon hearing Jean's question.
After the meal, Jean prepared to go back around looking for seeds and managed to gather more than 50 types including fruits and spices in the city center. Jean then goes to a storage shed located on the edge of town to store all the seeds in the room secretly to be identified by the system.
"Finally done." Jean returns to the hotel when the sky is dark and books a separate room for Merril and Randalf.
Jean lies down and checks the phone of the original owner, finding some unread messages
"Jean, come and meet your grandparents on Tuesday." the message is from her aunt Lauren Barker and it happens to be Tuesday. Jean tries to find the original owner's memory of Barker's extended family, and found that the original owner did not have a good impression of his aunt and uncle because they were trying to get shares owned by his father and considered the original owner incompetent.
"One more problem." Jean let out a long sigh and ignored her aunt's message like the original owner had done before.
The next morning Jean awoke at 7am and prepared to leave the hotel.
"Uncle, we're going to the main house today" Jean said in seriousness, Randalf then nodded. Jean actually does not like to come to the main house because her aunt Lauren who always babbles about the division of property.
"Is it okay to come so early?" Merrill knows about Barker's extended family and how Jean's uncles and aunts treated Jean's family.
"Let it go, we're invited anyway." Merril is silent when he hears Jean's words, and he knows how Lauren treated Jean. Jean's car drove up and stopped at a large mansion located in a luxurious neighborhood.
