Ch 467's. An Accident?
In the arena, the figure of Weng Ning walking out casually from within the flames made everyone become shocked, not least Zu Zhang, Yi Chen, and Hao Lang were coolly watching their fight.
"That kid! He was completely unharmed by Ali Phoenix!" Hao Lang exclaimed in shock as he pointed at Weng Ning in the arena.
"I like her can't underestimate the children of the Weng Ancestral Family. It had been one child before that had shocked me with his pent-up strength, now there was one more child that even surprised me more.

On top of the arena, Lin Mei who saw the figure of Weng Ning managed to come out of her Phoenix flames looked surprised, yet on the other hand she also looked relieved as Weng Ning was not injured due to her attack.
He had thought that Weng Ning would die of being burned by the fire, therefore he had panicked earlier.
"What's up, Mei? Didn't you say you were going to fight seriously?"
Suddenly Weng Ning opened his voice and asked with a faint smile.
Lin Mei laughed softly hearing her. The two of them were friends, so they should be able to trust each other, so he didn't have to worry about Weng Ning in this fight.
He rubbed his face slowly, then took a deep breath. In the next instant, flames came back out of his body. This time the flames did not form a giant blaze. Lin Mei controlled for the fire to be focused on her body, thus reducing the waste of free energy.
Silent for a while, Lin Mei suddenly stomped her feet firmly, and her figure disappeared, then appeared before Weng Ning with her fists pointed at Weng Ning's face.
The fist that was enveloped by the orange flame fiercely hit Weng Ning's face and then an explosion occurred and Weng Ning's head that Lin Mei was shouldering was shattered instantly.
The spectators became hysterical looking at that, but then immediately calmed back when they saw the shattered one being hit by Lin Mei before was a clone of Weng Ning created using Weng Ning's pure ice.
Not far from there, Weng Ning's real figure appeared and a cold look came out from his body and froze anything around him.
"It seems you're tired, Mei. Wanna rest?" asked Weng Ning who deliberately wanted to make Lin Mei become annoyed.
Unfortunately, Lin Mei who heard Weng Ning speak like that, made her become speechless and looked at Weng Ning with a strange look.
After being friends with each other for almost a month, Weng Ning was not a girl who would talk like that, so hearing it from her mouth made Lin Mei become confused and feel strange herself.
"I don't know what you're up to, Ning, but you're pretty sure the Weng Ning I know won't want to talk like that for no apparent reason," reply Lin Mei who frowned.
He looked up at the sky, where Zu Zhang was sitting in the air and looking at the two of them.
"Hm? What's up?" zu Zhang asked confusedly.
"Ah, no. It's nothing, forgive me," said Lin Mei quickly.
He then closed his eyes for a while and reopened them. Just when he opened his eyes, Weng Ning's figure had already disappeared from before him.
Lin Mei turned her head to and fro looking for her whereabouts, but did not find her.
A few seconds later, he felt a cold sensation from both of his legs, and found that a layer of ice as thick as an adult's arm had covered both of his legs.

Lin Mei hurriedly tried to destroy that layer of ice, but then nothing happened at all. Until then the coldness in both legs began to feel increasingly cold to the bones.
He kept trying to break away, until finally being unable to release himself, Lin Mei also let out a Phoenix flame from within her body that successfully shattered the ice layers on both legs. The cold sensation earlier had also completely vanished.
Simultaneously, Weng Ning's figure had reappeared with a much different appearance to before.
At this moment Weng Ning's entire body was covered by a thin layer of ice that formed an extremely beautiful ice gown. On her head, there was a small crown that made her look like a queen of a kingdom.
"My preparation is done" said Weng Ning.

Lin Mei looked stunned by Weng Ning's beautiful appearance. She even looks fascinated by her beauty. The ice dress he had on him really suited him.
Lin Mei quickly pinched herself to regain her senses and seriously looked at Weng Ning. He could feel his laughter which was much different from before.

Raising her right hand upwards, Lin Mei took out the Phoenix Flame and controlled it upwards.
Slowly, feathers from the flames formed above Lin Mei. The number began to reach the tens until then more than a hundred.
Seeing that, Lin Mei remained standing in place and looked at the fire feathers coming towards her.

The feathers smashed into his body and flames instantly created and devoured Weng Ning's body. It did not happen once, but every feather that hit Weng Ning would turn into a blaze that made.

A few moments later, he shook his hand, and made the fire on his face disappear and his vision returned to its original state. He had already held back Lin Mei's attack long enough, he thought. Now is the time to strike back.
In his right hand, an ice sword formed and then with a quick movement, he shook it off and made the flames that were raging around it split open, and his figure walked out.
The ice dress she wore still remained unchanged after being in the flames.
Lin Mei who saw him finally came to the conclusion that Weng Ning indeed could not be harmed using long-range attacks.
He stopped his fire feathers, and then his hair started to turn bright red and the temperature around him started to rise instantly.
The ground where Lin Mei stood on foot began to turn reddish and seemed to slowly begin to melt.

A pair of fire wings appeared on Lin Mei's back, which then immediately made her fly into the air. Each time the wings are flapped, heat will come out.
On a job, Weng Ning looked at Lin Mei who was flying through the air in silence. He raised the ice sword in his hand, then with all his might slashed it towards Lin Mei.

Wind blades formed and moved very quickly towards Lin Mei. Lin Mei who was in the air also avoided it easily. In her right hand, a fire sword formed and the next second, Lin Mei flew towards Weng Ning with the fire sword in her hand letting out an extremely hot air.
Weng Ning immediately raised his sword and welcomed the attack from Lin Mei.

The two swords of fire and ice met each other. Weng Ning's figure seemed to be pushed back a few inches from where it had originally been.
He tightly held the sword in his right hand, and prepared to launch another attack using his left hand, but suddenly his Qi could not be felt at all.

However he was currently clashing with Lin Mei, if the sword disappeared, then he would be slashed and burned by the flames of Phoenix Lin Mei.

"You won," Zu Zhang said and looked at the figure of Weng Ning already sitting on the ground as Lin Mei was ready to charge towards him.
Lin Mei was shocked at Zu Zhang's appearance and after a while her expression turned into confusion.
"What are you doing? Isn't the fight still going on?" asked Lin Mei while frowning her forehead.
"No, the fight's over. I, Lin Mei won her fight," replied Zu Zhang quickly.
He also helped Weng Ning to get back up. It was then that he realized the strangeness on Weng Ning's body.
His Qi had been forcibly blocked.
