Weng Lou told the girl the reason for breaking through to Qianren's route, and that only made Weng Lou call 'crazy' by Qianren.
Although a little annoyed by the call, but Weng Lou did not bring the matter any further and chose to invite Qianren to join his plan. According to him, this girl who was with him had met the criteria as his partner, at least Qianren would not be too much of a burden for him, and could fill his free time by chatting with him.
Rather than looking like a crazy person who likes to talk to himself, Weng Lou prefers to look for interlocutors who are more 'sensible' from someone else's view.
"So, you're trying to finish off all the demons and beasts, and complete all the special routes in this Labyrinth Examination by yourself, and invite me to join in on that crazy plan? You think I really don't love my life?? I'm sorry, but even though I look excited about killing beasts and demons, I'm still sane enough not to do such a crazy thing!"
Listening to the words from Qianren who constantly called him crazy only made Weng Lou's heart seem to be pierced by a small thorn, but it wasn't enough to affect his emotions. After all, he had already guessed that answer. It is true that no one would risk his life for something uncertain.
Weng Lou had already explained that there was a possibility that they would get bonus points by eliminating all the beasts and demons in this test, also he told me that completing each special route would get a random reward. He did not originally speak while saying that there would be a random reward when completing a special route within the Labyrinth Examination, because before he reached the Qianren place, he had completed at least three special routes, he had completed at least three special ones, including the passageway he passed through where he got a special map which was the position where the other special routes were located.
Thinking that Qianren would not follow him without the slightest evidence, Weng Lou threw something at him and was immediately captured easily by Qianren.
The one thrown by Weng Lou was a sheet of animal skin that was already very dull and very stiff, but on the paper there were some mysterious patterns that contained enormous power. A serious face was seen on Qianren as he stared at the skin while gulping down heavy saliva.
The thing in his hand was a talisman that was decades old and was a talisman that had elemental change techniques that were at least at the 5th stage of the Soul Cleansing realm and above. In order to make it last, talismans were made using the skin of a savage beast capable of withstanding the might of the elemental change technique written on it.
In this way, a talisman can last much longer than a talisman written on paper, and of course the price is also much more expensive. The talisman that was in Qianren's hands right now should at least cost five thousand more gold pieces and could be exchanged for a tier 2 heirloom weapon.
"Lunches...." Qianren swallowed his saliva. Holding something so precious like this was truly something he had not imagined at all.
Feeling that the bait had been bitten, Weng Lou gave the offer he had prepared to Qianren, "I will give the talisman as a guarantor that I am not lying. And it can also be a guarantor of your safety. Hows it? I won't make a better offer, if you don't want me to go alone. Well, of course the amulet in your hand I'll take it back of course."
"I'm coming!!" qianren exclaimed firmly and stuffed the talisman under her clothes.
"Hahaha.a good decision! You take it easy, even if we face dangers far beyond our means, I will prioritize your safety." Weng Lou clapped his hands, and immediately walked down the labyrinth passageway that belonged to Qianren and was followed quickly by the girl with a small smile at the corner of her lips.
***
Early in the morning, where some sounds of howls and roars from demons and ferocious beasts were continuously heard every time. A big fight took place in one of the labyrinth hallways.
*Husshh!! PRAKKK!!!!*
An extremely violent kick struck the ground and created a small crater where the figure of Qianren was at its center.
"Ck, I'm getting pissed with this!" Qianren stared fiercely at Weng Lou. The young man was currently disregarding the words of the girl, and was only focused on chasing after a shadow that was moving very quickly between the shadows.
This figure had no more size than Weng Lou's fist, but his speed and agility were completely incompatible with his small body. Qianren had been five full minutes chasing and attacking that shadow, but until now the shadow could easily avoid it.
"Hey, do something! My stamina will run out if we just keep chasing that dirty rat!" sighed Qianren again and Weng Lou sighed before then his figure disappeared in the blink of an eye, then quickly blocked the shadow and made him stop moving in shock at the appearance of Weng Lou.
You can see the real figure of the shadow which is a small black mouse that has a long body shape and two pairs of legs that have abnormally large.
It was an evolved rat, yet not as a demon, but rather a ferocious beast with incredible speed. His speed comes from his leg muscles that change so that it can make him run very fast. His agility is obtained from his elongated body shape, so that he can be more free to move.
"I'm sorry, little animal, but you have to die here" said Weng Lou but seemed to have no regrets at all.
"Ciiiit!!!" The rat let out a very shrill voice, but Weng Lou was not affected in the slightest. With ease his feet move and just step on the rat to death just like that without being able to do any resistance.
Weng Lou lifted his leg and saw the body of the rat that had been flattened stuck on the ground with its blood splashing into the surroundings. He wiped the blood on his feet on the cleaner ground before walking towards Qianren who was adjusting his breathing.
"That's the last one, with this we can start entering the previous passageway. Do you still have energy? We will go straight in there and eradicate those wandering spirits. As you know, I have neither Inner Energy nor Qi, so I need your help in order to attack them" explained Weng Lou in a calm voice.
Qianren was silent for a moment to take a long breath and throw it away slowly before finally nodding.
"I still have a lot of Qi left inside my body. Fortunately I only used physical strength throughout this day so my Qi still remains full until now" he said.
Hearing her Weng Lou nodded in satisfaction, then gave a pill to Qianren. Qianren looked at the pill and directly swallowed it without asking much. As soon as he swallowed it, he could feel his tiredness slightly dissipating and his strength had recovered slightly.
"No need, I still have a lot here. The pills are just candy. I can't absorb the efficacy of such pills because of my limitations, so I have plenty in my storage."
Qianren nodded at the explanation from Weng Lou. The taste of this pill is a little sweet and there is a mint aroma that is quite stinging so it can be used as a candy snack like Weng Lou does. Although the actual price of this one pill was hundreds of silver coins.
After they stayed for a few minutes, Weng Lou and Nu Qianren finally went back to continue their journey to one of the special routes located not far from where they are currently. Roughly after walking for five more minutes, they arrived at one of the very dark labyrinthine passageways, and did not get enough light from the moon and stars.
Though, the moon and the stars in the sky could be clearly seen by them when pitting upwards, but the light did not reach their location like there was a special barrier around them. When they set foot in the labyrinthine hallway, suddenly the air temperature dropped dramatically and a huge feeling of horror and killing intent filled the location.
Weng Lou and Qianren's faces turned serious and they immediately put up a standby position. They were ready to fight at any time, especially Qianren who had formed some hand patterns with quick movements.
His Qi started to flow out, and with the direction of the pattern formed by his hands, it formed a protector around them.
Weng Lou's eyes only caught a glimpse of the pattern movements made by Qianren and were not too interested in seeing them. The use of Qi by some Martial Practitioners in the Ryuan Empire and Huwa Islands is arguably too rigid and even impressed very outdated by Weng Lou. For some Practitioners who were still at the basic level like Nu Qianren, it was necessary to use a hand pattern just to make a very simple protective Qi like this.
Even Weng Lou was highly doubtful of his endurance. Perhaps if he were to hit just by using ten percent of his strength, the protector could be smashed to pieces. But Weng Lou did not comment on anything, he knew that not everyone was a genius like him and every thing had its own shortcomings and advantages.
Although actually Weng Lou is not sure the use of Qi using hand patterns has advantages. But still, it is not good to give his comments. After all he was a 'Disabled One' who did not even have the slightest bit of Qi within his body.
Shortly after the protective Qi was made, whispering sounds started to be heard from within the passageway. Weng Lou and Qianren looked at each other, and they walked slowly into the hall deeper. The more they entered, the voices of the whispers were heard even greater until they sounded like the voices of people who were speaking and were modest, but without anyone appearing to be the source of the sound.
Once they were in the middle of the labyrinth, the two stopped walking and waited.
"Kill......"
"Yes..kill them......"
"No.. We'd better torture it....."
"""HOW ABOUT WE JUST TORTURE AND KILL THEM???!!!!"""
*Shu.......Whuuusshhhh!!!!*
From within the ground, the walls and the empty air, transparent figures showed figures one by one, and displayed their monstrous figures that were filled with wounds that were extremely deadly to the living humans.
"They're coming!!" qianren exclaimed slightly nervously and both of her hands did not stop shaking.
Weng Lou realized this and immediately held both of his hands. "Don't be afraid! They won't be able to break through the Qi barrier as long as you don't show any fear and stay concentrated!"
Qianren bit his lower lip and took a gentle breath. The tremors in her hands slowly shook them, and Weng Lou let go of her grip as she felt she could control herself.
"Good, keep it that way.don't lose your concentration.." said Weng Lou calmly and tried to make him feel comfortable and calm.
Feeling that Qianren had calmed down, Weng Lou took out one of his swords that was still neatly sheathed until now. He had not gotten a chance to wear it so far as his opponents were not worthy enough for him.
The sword that looked like a sword made with such profanity seemed trivial in the eyes of some people, but for Weng Lou, this sword that was taken for granted by them was the most deadly weapon that had killed several Soul Unification realm experts, including some sea beasts that were famous for their strength
The sword was swung softly and directed at the evil spirit figure that had reached the protective Qi in front of him.
When the Evil Spirit touched the Qi protector, it strangely could not break through the barrier, and Weng Lou immediately launched his attack once the spirit was restrained.
*Shingg!!* His sword slashed forward and pierced through the protective Qi, then cut off the body of the evil spirit until a very sad scream sound was released by the spirit. But the scream did not last long. His body immediately shattered into particles of light and disappeared in the air.
The other spirit saw this and roared furiously. Their eyes turned red, and soon they crashed themselves into the Qi protector. Qianren's body felt like it had been hit by a flock of bulls, the body slightly jolted backwards yet he remained concentrated and maintained his protective Qi.
Weng Lou was unwilling to waste time, he realized Qianren did not seem like the one with overwhelming focus and immense mental strength, so it would be exhausted in the near future. Clasping the sword tightly in hand, Weng Lou began to finish off one by one the evil spirits and eradicate them to pieces.
Evil Spirits could only be finished off by attacks that contained pure Qi and Deep Power, physical attacks basically had no effect on them. But this is not really true, because when the Spirit touches the Qi, they will get their dense nature and can be touched. It was at a moment like this that Weng Lou killed them by utilizing the protective Qi Qianren.
