Towards Eternity

Towards Eternity
Ch 554's. The Other Students

After exiting the field of admission exam, students, Weng Lou took back both of his weapons and was then taken by Elder Meigui to a 3-story building which was the residence of Elder Meigui as well as the residence of his other students.

By and large, an Elder who had a family would have a separate residence with his students, but since Elder Meigui was not married yet, he put all his disciples to live with him. This he did in order to monitor the training of all students every day.

Because it was still a very early morning, and also because Weng Lou had only arrived after traveling all the way, Elder Meigui immediately told Weng Lou to rest and return to meet him in the morning on the top floor of his residence.

Weng Lou saluted his new teacher as soon as he left Weng Lou in a room on the first floor of his residence located in the right corner of the back.

The door was closed, and Weng Lou immediately sat in a chair close to the tightly shut window.

*nwt....* The chair was crunching as he sat on it. Both of his swords were propped up against a nearby wall and his clothes were removed, revealing his perfectly formed body. His abdominal muscles seemed to field, and both of his arms displayed two arms filled with strength.

"It's really nice. I got a room for myself, in contrast to when I was in the Northern Heavens Sect. There, whether it was a direct disciple of an elder, or just an ordinary disciple, they were all placed in the same place.

No specialisation is given to a student. If a disciple wanted to earn more than he was given, then he would have to put in his own effort by completing missions and earning money.

Weng Lou, Weng Ying Luan, and Lin Mei were also like that while still there. For Weng Lou, he did not think too much about something like this, because he also preferred to have something that was the result of his own efforts. This way, he did not need to heed that sense from the other disciples to him, because basically everything he had in the Northern Heavens Sect used to be the result of his hard work.

"In hindsight, I even only stayed a few months in the Northern Heavens Sect before then receiving a mission from the Great Patriarch, to gather materials to make the Sky Weapon. All the materials we've managed to get to make that weapon are on me, but they're all in this useless necklace right now. I need to be able to reuse this Spatial Necklace in order to access all my weapons" Weng Lou said languidly as he held the necklace around his neck.

Everything Weng Lou needed, whether it was a weapon or a training resource, was all inside this necklace. If he could re-access it, he would easily search for information on how he could use his Soul Power back.

After spending a few minutes to let go of all sorts of thoughts, Weng Lou chose to clean himself up in a wooden basin in the corner of his room. Several buckets of clean water were nearby.

***

In the morning, in the back yard of Elder Meigui's residence.

Some teenagers, starting at the age of Weng Lou, are easier than him, and the elder of him was gathered into a row facing a female disciple who looked the oldest of the other disciples.

This female student has a beautiful face with a body that has begun to mature. Seen from two large mounds on his chest that could tease the eyes of the men nearby. However, the male disciple who was in the line in front of the female disciple did not dare to look at her like that because he knew how strong the female disciple was.

If they dared to look at the disciple with indecent gazes, then there was only a nightmare that would come at them.

In total all the disciples lined up were ten people, plus the female disciples who were in front of the line, in total all the disciples were eleven. They were all disciples trained and guided directly by Elder Meigui.

With the easiest standing at the front, and the oldest and most senior standing at the back. With the exception of the female disciple who stood at the very front, she was the most genius disciple that Elder Meigui had and became the leader of all these disciples.

The original name of the disciple was Liang Lu, and the other disciples of Elder Meigui called him Senior Brother Lu, or Sister Lu if the disciple was of the same age.

He had been a disciple of Elder Meigui since he was thirteen, and he had been five years as the elder's disciple. When viewed in age, he and Weng Ying Luan were arguably the same age. With his incredible talent, he had been at the 6th stage of the Soul Cleansing realm, and was a little more ascending to the 7th stage. No one doubted his strength and position as the leader of the disciples.

"Senior Brother Lu, is there anything Master wants to tell us, until he gathers us in the morning like this?" A female disciple who was about 12 years old raised her hand and asked Liang Lu.

Liang Lu looked at the girl and shook his head, "I don't know for sure either. Master told me to bring you all here and gather. As for the reason he told me to, I still don't know.

He calmly replied to his junior. Maybe he was only 12 years old, but his martial talent was not too different from his.

As everyone was quietly waiting in the field, the figure of Elder Meigui flew down from the top floor of his residence and landed before all of his students. The moment his figure had descended to the ground, all of them, led by Liang Lu, gave a respectful greeting to Elder Meigui, their Master all.

""Good Morning, Master!"" said all the students simultaneously and answered the nod of the week by Elder Meigui.

The current elder Meigui did not wear anything that covered his face, thus displaying her beautiful face that was equivalent, or even much prettier than Liang Lu.

"Em, raise your heads." Without waiting for the second command, they all raised their heads.

Elder Meigui reopened his voice, "Sorry for having told you to gather here this morning. I understand you guys are busy to increase your strength all so time is something very precious, but it won't be long. My purpose in gathering you is to introduce your new juniors who will start joining you as my students starting today."

The statement from Elder Meigui made all the disciples put on a slightly surprised face, as they had not known about this at all before. Normally, when their teacher was about to bring in a new disciple, they would get wind tidings first, but this time they did not get them at all. So they are confused, when their teacher wants to take a new student.

Keep in mind, Elder Meigui, as part of the core Elders in the Jade Bamboo Sect, he almost never left the sect at all. He would only be out of the sect surroundings if he had something to work on.

All of his disciples who were here earlier were taken from the disciples who did the disciple acceptance exam by the sect. Due to an offer from Elder Meigui, they chose to make him their teacher.

From inside the first floor, the figure of Weng Lou came out while walking calmly before everyone in the field. There was no look of fear or the like as he stared at the new 'seniors.

Some of the disciples who saw this attitude of Weng Lou felt a little displeased, but did not dare to show it blatantly because of the presence of Elder Meigui in that place.

"Greetings, Senior everyone. My name is Wei Lou, I'm a Forger." Weng Lou lowered his head slowly while speaking respectfully to all of them.

Hearing that Weng Lou was a Forger, one of the sixteen-year-old male disciples laughed softly and caught the attention of the people.

"Ahaha....A Forger! A dirty worker who only knows how to swing his hammer, and do violence. It really does fit your name!" exclaim that student.

Elder Meigui just kept silent without defending Weng Lou in the slightest, he wanted to see the action that Weng Lou would show towards the humiliation being done right before his eyes. However, Weng Lou was not at all provoked. He simply looked at the disciple while blinking a few times and shrugged his shoulders at the disciple.

"Yes, both my parents gave it to me, so I think it's a good name."

Weng Lou's casual answer instead made the student who tried to lure him into emotions and gritted his teeth.

On the other hand, Liang Lu who was at the very front, looked at Weng Lou from top to bottom and was like he was observing something. Weng Lou noticed the gaze from the woman and smiled slightly at her, "What's the matter Senior? Is there something wrong with me?"

Liang Lu remained silent for a while, then shook his head, and stopped staring at Weng Lou.

Meanwhile, a female disciple walked out of the line and approached towards Weng Lou until she arrived right in front of him. Blatantly, he looked at Weng Lou with a gaze that felt both astonished and strange and scratched the back of his non-itchy head while talking to Weng Lou.

"Junior Lou, if you may know, what level of practice are you at?"

"Hm? Why is Senior asking that?"

"Ah, no. It's just that I can't feel the slightest surge of Deep Power from your body so I suspect that you must have been in the Soul Cleansing realm like Senior Brother Lu," explained the female disciple.

The question from him made the other disciples wake up and immediately scan Weng Lou's body from top to bottom and find the same thing. Yet the most astonished expressions were the disciples who had been at the Soul Cleansing realm. They could not find the slightest bit of Qi on Weng Lou's body, nor that a surge of Soul Power from him.

From their view, Weng Lou looked just like an ordinary human. Just the aura of power on his body alone made him appear to have great power, but it could not be the standard of one's strength.

"Good observation, as you can see, Lou has neither Inner Energy nor Qi, nor Soul Power. He was born without a Dantian, so could not become a Martial Practitioner. But this does not make your new junior give up just like that.

As he said, he was a Forger. Through the process and heavy work, he managed to make himself possess a punching power that was even equivalent to that of a Martial Practitioner at the 12th level of Foundation Rankings. But you need to remember, it wasn't his full strength, so that's why I raised him to be my 12th disciple" explained Elder Meigui who somehow started to be a little proud of Weng Lou's achievement. Whereas before when he was still in the field of student acceptance exams, he felt disappointed because Weng Lou did not have a Dantian in him.

"Teacher, I'm sorry if I am presumptuous, but isn't someone without a Dantian unable to be a part of this Jade Bamboo Sect? Naturally, he was not a true Martial Practitioner as he would not be able to use Deep Power, Qi, and also Soul Power. He was nothing more than an ordinary human with amazing physical strength. According to the terms and regulations of the sect, an ordinary human cannot join a sect." The male disciple who had previously mocked Weng Lou was now back to speaking, and this time to Elder Meigui his Master.

Elder Meigui knew the rule, so he brought all his disciples to this place early in the morning.

"What you're saying is true, but Lou will join the sect through my intermediary as a Core Elder. Just like all of you, my students. You are actually free from some of the basic rules that exist within this sect, but since you are my personal disciples, those rules do not apply to you. The same would apply to Wei Lou. The rules that forbid ordinary humans from becoming sect disciples would not apply to him because he is my disciple, like all of you."

Elder Meigui then walked slowly towards Weng Lou, and he gently patted her on the shoulder while staring at the students one by one.

"All of you are my dear students, I want you to treat your Junior like I treat you. If you'd object to that, then I'd free you to fight with Lou to prove whether he's worthy of being a part of you or not."

The disciples were silent hearing that. This was the first time their teacher had done anything so far. Is it as strong as Weng Lou to make their teacher allow to do a fight between students?

Although they all do not know, but they will soon find out by fighting against Weng Lou. To that end, a male disciple who was the greatest male disciple of all the others, was, as well as the oldest of all the disciples Elder Meigui walked forward without hesitation and faced Weng Lou.

"Then if so, please allow me to test this new Junior of ours, Master. As the oldest disciple, I must find out if someone is worthy to be my Junior who is under the guidance of the same one teacher." The male disciple spoke respectfully to Elder Meigui.

Meigui blinked and then turned to look at Weng Lou who was not afraid in the slightest he nodded in agreement, "Please, Jiu De. I allowed you to fight Wei Lou. But you have to remember this, don't endanger yourself."

Jiu De did not reply, but instead immediately put up a ready-to-fight position, while Weng Lou just stood upright quietly while sighing.

Shaking his head, Elder Meigui also moved very quickly past Weng Lou while speaking softly in his ear, "Please don't overdo it, he is your Senior."

The figure of Elder Meigui immediately appeared a few meters from where the two faced each other. The other disciples had retreated quickly and when they had all retreated far enough, the fight began.
