Time passes quickly. Now Weng Lou and the others had been living in the Lin Family residence for two weeks.
During these two weeks, Weng Lou did not set foot outside the palace and would only be in his room or the garden upstairs. In those two weeks, Weng Lou had trained his Soul Power and gained development by as much as five percent. Not a large sum, but at least he managed to increase the amount of his Soul Power without having to increase his level of practice.
In those two weeks as well, Du Zhe received endless training from Weng Lou, and would only stop for a night rest.
In that instant, Weng Ying Luan had met Weng Lou several times, but never for long. He always reasoned that he was doing something very extraordinary and would rush away if Weng Lou moved just a little from his place.
He was afraid that Weng Lou would still give him a few punches.
At this moment, in the garden above the palace.
Du Zhe kicked up into the air and hit a huge boulder the size of his body that was thrown at him.
*DBUM!*
The sound of a muffled explosion could be heard. The huge rock came to a halt in the air, then plunged to the ground as it lost the force of the push even further. Causing the floor where Du Zhe was standing to tremble slowly.
"Yeah....."
Du Zhe let out a long breath. His body was covered by sweat as he stood in his place.
"Good, you managed to stop the stone without damaging it one bit. It seems like your training has yielded quite satisfactory results," praised Weng Lou who sat not far from where Du Zhe was training.
The wind blew and hit Du Zhe's body and the huge boulder he had stopped before. After the wind disappeared, a crack appeared on the side of the rock that Du Zhe had kicked.
Du Zhe's forehead shriveled looking at him and he sighed once more. It had been the umpteenth time that he had failed this 'power control exercise' and he was handsome a little depressed because of it.
"Hahahaha.you still failed again, Du Zhe. We're not going to end this exercise and get into the next one until you manage to hold back the stone's movement without doing the slightest damage to it." Weng Lou closed his eyes and let Du Zhe think for himself what he should do to stop damaging the stone.
"I can't keep going like this one. I have to think of a way...hmmmm....."
Du Zhe's gaze was directed at the stone in front of him. While staring at the marks created on the stone, he twisted his brain, thinking of how to keep the stone from being damaged when he kicked it.
"I've been doing this exercise since morning, and to date I've been kicking around over thirty stones, and all of them have been damaged. About twenty stones suffered damage a quarter of them. There were ten broken stones no more than ten percent of it, whereas the rest only had a few cracks.
This last stone only has a fine crack on its surface. This result I got after minimizing the power of my kick in such a way that it was barely enough to withstand the movement of the stone. If I want to make the stone stop but not break it, then the only way is to reduce the strength I give."
Du Zhe was in his contemplation. He continued to think of the most appropriate way to make the stone stop without damaging it.
"Teacher said I should stop him with one kick without damaging the rock. If my leg was pushed back just a little after coming into contact with the stone, then it wouldn't count as successful."
Only this time did Du Zhe devote all his thoughts in training his physical strength. She was amazed that Weng Lou had the mind to make this kind of practice on her. The feeling of pride as a student of Weng Lou also made his determination grow.
Weng Lou had made this exercise for him, so he should have believed that Du Zhe could do it. If he could not, then Weng Lou would feel disappointed and have high expectations of him. That was Du Zhe's thinking.
"No, think carefully of Du Zhe! You're a student of a hero! If this is how you can't, then you won't be worthy of being Master's student!"
While Du Zhe was deep in thought, Weng Lou was not far away from him staring for a moment at him and smiling faintly. He only stared at her for a moment before then starting to meditate. He would let Du Zhe think for himself the answer he was looking for.
Sometimes, a person's breakthrough can be obtained by experiencing enlightenment alone. If Du Zhe could gain his own enlightenment, then his martial path would be wide open in the future and his achievements would be limitless.
Normally, the voice of Du Zhe practicing martial arts would be heard every few moments, but he was currently dissolving in his mind, thus creating quite a strange silence. Especially because Weng Lou, who also chose to be silent without making a sound, made the silence feel different.
After some time, Weng Lou suddenly opened his eyes and turned his head in one direction in the sky.
He could see a black dot moving very quickly towards them at this moment. Looking up at Du Zhe who was still in the crucial moments of enlightenment, he decided to move on from it, leaving Du Zhe alone and without feeling any disturbance as long as he sought enlightenment.
Weng Lou flew towards the black dot, which turned out to be the same woman who came to him two weeks ago to give a message from Lin Nushen.
His current arrival made Weng Lou start to wonder, did Lin Nushen finally want to meet him back.
Almost in the blink of an eye after Weng Lou went upstairs, the female figure also arrived and stopped right in front of Weng Lou. The two face each other. Weng Lou watched the woman, yet not daring to stare at her body, he was afraid that he would accidentally offend her again like before.
"You seem to enjoy living in this place, huh?" ask the woman.
Weng Lou blinked. Even without looking for trouble, this woman will indeed question everything that concerns her.
Fortunately Weng Lou was not a person who would be angry just because of such meaningless words.
"I represent my other colleagues and thank you very much for allowing us to stay in this place. I appreciate and am grateful for the generosity of Family Head Lin, so that he can only stay at his best here as a form of our gratitude," Weng Lou replied in a simple impressed voice.
The woman stared silently for a moment. He had no idea Weng Lou would have this kind of personality, inversely proportional to what he had been thinking about her all along.
But as people often say, never judge someone by just one look, judge when you've seen it over and over again.
"Hmp! I came here to get a message from the Head of the Family. You can see it for yourself, I have no other business so I'll go right away."
He nonchalantly threw a bright red jade at Weng Lou, after which he without saying anything else, instantly darted away. His moving speed made it seem as if he was teleporting, but Weng Lou knew it was due to his extremely fast speed, thus making it seem like he was switching places instantly.
After the woman's departure, Weng Lou looked at the jade in her hand for a moment and turned to look at the woman away.
"I want to know what kind of message Lin Nushen gave me" he said slowly.
He grasped the red jade in his hand and drained his Soul Power. Immediately, a voice sounded within his head, it was none other than Lin Nushen's voice.
"Weng Lou, forgive my actions at our previous meeting. I didn't plan on making you that way. I got carried away and subconsciously hurt you because of this, I will apologize once again to you. My goal is to send this message, actually, just to ask you something. If you know the girl I'm going to show you, please break this jade so I can know, if you don't know her, you can ignore her."
After the words were heard, the voice was no longer heard, but a picture of a girl suddenly appeared inside his head.
The picture shows a red masked girl riding on a giant deer and leading an army of wild beasts to battle the Martial Practitioners.
Upon seeing the image, Weng Lou's hand that was grasping the jade in his hand suddenly trembled for a moment and involuntarily caused the jade to crack, but not to the point of being crushed.
He was surprised to see the picture of the girl and a smile appeared on his face.
"So so...hahahaha. He seems to be living well and enjoying his life. But he provoked the wrong person and instead implicated himself in danger. I have to call Luan, we have to make a plan to get out of here."
After confirming once more the image he saw, the red jade finally stored it into his spatial ring.
