Ch 639's. The Destruction of the Ying Family Begins
In the sky of the Ying Family territory.
Lin Mei sat cross-legged calmly on the back of the giant eagle. Before him, the fat mayor's body was in a truly terrible state.
His hands and feet were cut off. His jaw disappeared, as well as the trunk of his nose and his two earlobes. In fact, his precious object that was between his legs had disappeared. Only his two eyes remained.
Of all that, the most surprising thing was that the mayor was still breathing! He had not died even after losing a lot of blood.
One would only see a torture without the slightest mercy just by looking at the current condition of the mayor. But even so, the cold light in Lin Mei's eyes had not disappeared at all, as if the mayor's condition was still not severe enough to make up for everything she had done so far.

The fat mayor stared helplessly at Lin Mei. He realized that Lin Mei was the leader of the attacking beasts. Honestly he was surprised to learn that the person who was the cause of the fall of the city he led turned out to be just a trivial girl.
Normally, he would fuss over seeing a girl like Lin Mei, yet there were currently no perverted gazes that were usually present in both of his eyes. Everything had been replaced with this feeling of fear of the figure before him.
He vividly remembered all the torments that Lin Mei had given him and continued to heal him from time to time, so that he could not faint or lose consciousness while being subjected to torments from her.
Now this she no longer cared if she could survive all of Lin Mei's torments, her only wish now was to be left to die by Lin Mei. With all the parts of his body that Lin Mei had cut off, it would be much better if he were to die rather than stay alive in his current state.
Her current self would only be the laughingstock of the other members of the Ying Family. In fact, he was sure that the protection given by his ancestors during this time to him would be immediately revoked if he knew about his current condition.
"Hm? You want me to let you die? No, I don't want to. I'm still not satisfied playing with you. You tau? I am rarely able to train my healing powers, so with you here, you can continue to train my abilities to become better," Lin Mei explained while speaking coldly.
A sword appeared in his right hand, then he swung it on the fat mayor's right shoulder.

It was so easy for the mayor's right shoulder to be cut off and separated from his body. An inordinate scream was heard from the fat mayor who had lost his lower jaw so that he could no longer speak.

After Lin Mei said that, she directly cut off the left shoulder of the mayor who was immediately replied with a strange cry of the mayor.
The cycle continued for several days. In those few days, the army of ferocious beasts chose to rest in the ruins of the city they had destroyed.
Lin Mei still continued to practice using the mayor's body. Today the body of the fat mayor has now changed completely, from the previously fat and large, now to thin dry. What was left of his body was only skin and bones. The fat and meat disappeared.

The sword in Lin Mei's hand last and slashed the mayor's eyes. There was no scream like a few days ago that was issued by the mayor, he looked ordinary. However the slight tremors on his body clearly showed he was still reacting to the attack.
For the umpteenth time Lin Mei gave her Phoenix Flame healing to the mayor. This time the fire focused on both eyes. A few sweaty beads dripped out of his forehead as he used all of his focus in healing both of the mayor's eyes.
Ten minutes later, Lin Mei stopped healing with her fire. A scar was seen in both of the mayor's eyes. The mayor's right eye was nowhere to be seen, clearly shattered apart due to Lin Mei's earlier slash. While the left eye, there is an eyeball with a slightly blurry pupil that is there.
Subconsciously both of Lin Mei's hands trembled for a moment. He had not expected his healing technique to finally show the results he wanted. It is the regeneration of the limb! Not just scar healing.
The look of happiness was seen briefly in both of Lin Mei's eyes but quickly concealed it.
"I managed to heal one of his eyes.." murmured Lin Mei. He took a deep breath, then let go.
It quickly looked Lin Mei's eyes back as before, becoming a cold, unmerciful look.
Lin Mei raised the sword in her right hand and was ready to swing it once more. But this time not to just hurt him like before. "I don't need you anymore. Die and be tormented forever in hell."
In one slow motion, he slashed at the mayor's neck, letting the pain caused by the sword that slashed at him vividly recall in his head.
The mayor's body looked like it was convulsing for a moment. Blood flowed from his neck. After a while, his body stopped moving and he died a violent death.
"You reap what you sow in this world. It is karma and at the same time how the wheel of destiny works in this life." Lin Mei swung her hand and pushed the mayor's body to fall on the eagle's back.
The eagle shrieked softly. "What shall we do next, O great Phoenix? We're all waiting for orders from you."
The eagle's question was immediately replied by Lin Mei. "We're going to follow the strategy I've made before. We will start by destroying the cities controlled by the Ying Family. Although it would not have too much of an impact on the entire family, but the fear caused by the attack of a savage beast would quickly spread. We can make the terror spread bit by bit within the Ying Family and cause a split within it."
Listening to Lin Mei's reply, the eagle simply replied with a screech of understanding.

The figure of Weng Li stood firmly before a man who was like aged easier than him. However it was because his strength was so great that it made his old appearance remain invisible.
The man sat next to an empty throne, instead of sitting on the throne. He stared at Weng Li in silence for a while before then shaking his head slowly.
"Why?!" Weng Li asked with reddened eyes.
"Because we have rules to follow. You want to join the troops that are going to the Mainland in order to exterminate the Ying Family, but I know you have other motives. This is your motive that I don't allow you to do" the man said in a calm voice.
Weng Li gritted his teeth. His hands clenched so tightly that it could be seen blood dripping out of his injured hands.
"He is my son...my only son!!!! You dare tell me to just sit idly by when there is a chance to find my precious son?! Who are you?! You're not even my father!" Weng Li exclaimed furiously and released his Practice Level which quickly swept through the entire room where the two were.
Breathing sounded from the man. He shook his head then pointed at Weng Li. "I may not be your real father, but I promised him to take care of you and raise you. As long as you don't have enough strength to defeat me, then you're obliged to follow all my words."
"I don't care! I wouldn't-"
"Listen to my words, WENG LI! I AM THE ADVISOR TO THE HEAD OF THE FAMILY, AND EVERYTHING RELATED TO THE WENG FAMILY WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF BY ME! DISLIKE IT, YOU WILL FOLLOW MY WORDS!"
