Towards Eternity

Towards Eternity
Ch 577's. Towards the Ocean (VI)

In the morning, on the hidden beach where the Weng Lou group is located.

The crew of the Weng Lou ship was seen busy removing the straps that bound their ship. They were all preparing to sail back across the ocean once again. With Weng Lou as his captain, there was nothing they feared anymore from now on.

While the crew was busy preparing the ship, Weng Lou and the Black Ape Fighters chose to go to a place located a few kilometers from the beach. They were currently in a meadow located outside the mangrove tree forest, with a group of people some of whom were familiar to Weng Lou's eyes standing facing them.

"So, are you here to say goodbye to me, Patriarch? Or just want to see me one last time?"

Weng Lou joked to the figure of the old man in front of him. The man who was none other than the Jade Bamboo Sect Patriarch smiled and laughed softly listening to Weng Lou's joke. He shook his head and said the purpose of his arrival.

"I just want to make sure for the last time. Are you an intruder of one of the Great Clan Families on the mainland, or just a young man who just happened to stop by in this place?" The Patriarch of the Jade Bamboo Sect spoke casually, as if he considered that Weng Lou was a person on par with him.

He no longer saw Weng Lou as a child who was an ordinary disciple in his sect.

Weng Lou laughed and shook his head as he spoke, "No. I already told you, I'm not an intruder from the Great Clan Family or anything like that. My arrival here actually wanted to solve the problem of my Soul Power being unusable, but now it can and it's all thanks to the Labyrinth Examination held by the Jade Bamboo Sect."

Listening to Weng Lou's reply, for some reason there was a feeling of relief in the Patriarch's heart.

"Alright if that is the case, please accept this as a gift from us, the Sects and Families of the Ryuan Empire for helping to free us from the restraints of the Emperor. Chizi Ryuan was indeed a powerful and mighty emperor, but the ambition and path she took were too dangerous and put the entire empire in danger."

"Either how many we had almost experienced a crisis due to his actions that often provoked the Great Clan Family on the mainland. For now, we will help the Ryuan Family to raise a new Emperor for the future. Although Chizi Ryuan was a cruel Emperor, the Ryuan Family was still an Emperor Family with a long history. Only they can become emperors in the Ryuan Empire."

Weng Lou nodded in agreement listening to the Patriarch's explanation. The Ryuan family was the ruler for a long time in this Ryuan Empire. They were the rightful owners of the right to be the leaders over the empire. If not from their families, the Ryuan Empire would no longer be the same empire.

After taking the gift of a storage ring from the Patriarch's hand, their group went one by one and left only one person left in that place, and he was Meigui. His face was slightly pale and the smile he usually displayed in front of Weng Lou was now non-existent.

Meigui stared at Weng Lou's face in silence for a few seconds, before he stepped forward and gently touched Weng Lou's face. Weng Lou could feel the warmth from that touch, and chose to let it go.

"Have you ever considered me your teacher once? Or is all that Teacher's calling you're telling me just a cover?" meigui asked Weng Lou.

Weng Lou looked down. He recalled the times when he was still only a disciple of this woman in front of him. He often asked her questions about some things that were not about martial arts such as how to cook and bake cakes.

This Weng Lou did because Meigui could not teach him anything about martial arts, which at that time could only have physical strength. But even so, Weng Lou likes to be taught about other things by him that feel new. Such as cooking using additional spices, or making cakes.

Meigui tried his best to teach her because he himself understood that there was nothing to teach Weng Lou but cooking and baking. Fortunately, she is a smart woman in the kitchen.

Compared to being a Martial Master, Weng Lou considered Meigui to be the Cooking Master.

"Yes, you are the Master who has been teaching me for over two months. I regard you as my Master, how you teach me to make delicious dishes and pastries I will never forget" replied Weng Lou who held Meigui's hand.

"Goodoo. You can leave now. If it's too late, you'll have trouble getting through the high waves on the east coast" said Meigui, who let go of his hand and stepped back.

Nodding softly, Weng Lou said goodbye to Meigui, then left with the Black Ape Fighters to enter the forest. After they re-entered, Meigui sighed and was about to fly away, but the figure of the Patriarch had reappeared beside him.

"So you stay stubborn and won't say it? You think you'll get another chance in time to go to your family's territory?" asked the Jade Bamboo Sect Patriarch slowly.

Meigui kept quiet and turned his body around, "If I make the child go to my family territory, he only gets the hardships my family makes. My family will definitely want him to see from his demonstrated strength. But the child is the embodiment of true freedom, he is not bound by anything, and is free to go and do whatever he wants."

"It's up to you, but don't forget about the pedigree your family has. Your family is one of the main branches of the Four Great Clan Families still remaining. That child, wanting to be seen from anywhere, his next destination must be the Mainland. It would be better to leave it to your family, its security and safety would be more assured if it were under the protection of your family," explained the Jade Bamboo Sect Patriarch.

"No, even if we make that offer to her, Lou won't take it. Just from two months with her, I could tell she wouldn't want to be organized by a certain group." Meigui quickly rejected that thought.

"You're right.I forgot that he even killed Chizi Ryuan for not wanting to be his subordinate." The Patriarch of the Jade Bamboo Sect smiled wryly as he recalled the scene where Chizi Ryuan had to die at the hands of Weng Lou without being able to fight back at all.

His body until it disappeared unceremoniously and even the air of his existence all vanished unceremoniously. A child like Weng Lou, he was indeed worthy of being an adventurer in this cruel world.

A few hours later, off the coast that was outside the mangrove forest. The steamship sailed at a steady speed through the waves as high as two meters.

Weng Lou was sitting casually on the back deck of the ship while staring at Fenshu Island which was now being shunned by their ship.

"Fenshu Island, see you in a few years" said Weng Lou with a small smile.

"Teacher....isn't I able to use the Power Within? Why do I have to train my physique again like this?"

Du Zhe's voice rang out from under Weng Lou who showed himself doing push-ups while Weng Lou sat on his back.

Weng Lou hit Du Zhe softly on the head because he heard her words.

"Who said you don't have to train your physique when you can use the Deep Power? Precisely with you can already use Inner Energy, you must be more active in training your body to be able to accommodate more and more Deep Energy. You may not have heard of this, but there is a saying that says 'your body is the source of your strength'."

"Do you see me, Du Zhe? What do you think I used against the sea beasts a few months ago? Only by capitalizing on physical strength, I was able to temper them, so that we could escape the Dead Sea. Don't you think that's amazing?" clearly Weng Lou was on Du Zhe who looked troubled to lift his body.

"But only with physical strength will I not be able to perform the moves that Master once did. Like making a sword, or flying!!! That's a teacher's pain!!"

Du Zhe's rant soon ended with Weng Lou pinning him a little harder than his previous punch. Du Zhe's two limp hands caused Du Zhe's body to fall to the floor, while Weng Lou's figure remained suspended in the air as he used his Soul Power.

"Look! That's what I mean, Master! If only physical strength, how can I float like you!

"Ck! Disciple doesn't know himself, you're new at Foundation Level 4! Martial Practitioners in a realm like yours should focus on strengthening the body! When you're already in the Soul Cleansing realm, you'll experience obstacles to strengthening your physique from not having the time like now!"

Weng Lou shook his head and chose to stand up and walked away leaving Du Zhe who was still exhausted on the floor. He went inside the control room, before then returning out while carrying a training hammer that had a shape much smaller than the one Weng Lou had been using all this time.

Du Zhe blinked, he did not understand why Weng Lou had brought the hammer with him.

"Here, from now on you'll practice with this. At night you will meditate to absorb the Energy in Nature, during the day you train your body" said Weng Lou while giving the hammer to Du Zhe.

Du Zhe's face looked plain as he took the hammer out of Weng Lou's hand. But his face immediately turned to panic, when his body had to be pulled down because it was not strong to lift the small hammer.

"What the fuck is the weight of this hammer?! This....VERY YAAATTT!!!" Du Zhe to the point of exclaiming loudly as he tried to lift the hammer to the height of his waist and ended up falling back to the floor.

"Hahaha..you look so funny Du Zhe! Is that as heavy as that hammer? I can't believe it!" One of the crew members of the ship Weng Lou who is a man with a large body made his comments when he was lifting two drums containing coal on his shoulders.

"Hmp! Come here and try to lift yourself up," Du Zhe sneered as he poked his lips. Weng Lou could not help but laugh at the expression of his student.

The big man immediately lowered the two drums on his shoulder, then walked over. He looked at Weng Lou who nodded allowing him to before then starting to grasp the hammer and immediately lifted it.

His face flushed red as the hammer began to lift, his muscles began to rise while the hammer had already been raised to the height of his head.

"You-You see, Du Zhe? It's so easy!!" The man gritted his teeth before then began to lower the hammer back to the floor and immediately left.

He hurriedly brought the two drums he had previously put down and got inside the ship.

"You see? Even people who were only at the 6th level of Foundation Grounds could 'easy' lift it." Weng Lou joked to Du Zhe.

Du Zhe knew clearly the previous man had to exert everything he had just in order to be able to lift the hammer. Their strength was 2 tiers away, and he had already had great difficulty lifting it.

"Teacher..can't you lighten the load? At least cut back a quarter." Du Zhe smiled sweetly at Weng Lou. He tried to get sympathy from her.

"No, you're going to practice with this hammer. Now, do the horses. I'll help you."

Weng Lou began to help Du Zhe to train with the heavy hammer. Of course he still could not lift it to the height of his head, yet he was at least able to hold his weight up to waist level a little longer than before.

At night, on the territorial waters of the Ryuan Empire.

The steamship continues to sail through the dark blue sea with the stars being the way-pointers.

Weng Lou as the captain of the ship, sat in the control room while dividing some of his consciousness into pieces. One was watching the stars above the sky, one was paying attention to the ocean, and another was inspecting all of his possessions as well as the treasures he had obtained from Chizi Ryuan's storage ring.

In the midst of his busy life, from within the ocean, exactly a few hundred meters from their ship. Several large herds of sharks that each have their own ship seen swimming together, hunting their dinner.

The awareness that Weng Lou had for inspecting the sea got a wrong vision, and the other activities he was doing were stopped.

He walked out of the ship, and saw a phenomenon he had only seen this time with his own eyes.

"God, so the ocean vortex capable of destroying dozens of warships really exists?!"

Today, there is a whirlpool that has a diameter of more than a hundred meters and leads deep into the sea. At the center of the vortex, there was only a black color, nothing visible, as if the reflected light from the moon was being absorbed by the vortex.
