Ch 508's. Unification of All Slums (IV)
On the streets of Heishin City, Weng Lou along with Du Zhe walked side by side down the road towards the direction the Red Devil College was located in.
However, just like before they came to the restaurant, the atmosphere of the city still seemed quiet without a single person being seen pacing the streets even though the doors on the building located on the side of the road were open.
Du Zhe was unaware of the oddity, while Weng Lou silently walked with him with both eyes constantly moving staring at some figures hiding from them in some alleyway they passed. There was no killing intent that Weng Lou felt from them so he did not take any rash action, he wanted to see what these people wanted.
A short while later, the two of them were already close to reaching the end of the city, and funds were soon arriving on the road leading to the Red Devil College.
At that moment, dozens of people suddenly walked out from the last two aisles at the end of the road and blocked Weng Lou and Du Zhe. From behind them too, dozens of people came out of the aisles and aisles****, and surrounded the two.

Weng Lou could feel the solemnity of each word spoken by him, and then took his foot one step forward. He crouched down in front of the man who was still putting his head on the ground. Weng Lou's right hand was placed on the man's left shoulder.
"Stand."
Hearing Weng Lou's words, the man immediately got back up, and stood up straight.
"I see you all seem to be ex-slaves, am I right?"
"Yes, Mr. Hero! All of us here used to be despicable slaves, but because of you we have been free to return!"
"Do you want revenge?" Weng Lou asked in a calm voice but still maintained her small smile.
Weng Lou's question was like a bolt of lightning in broad daylight, and made everyone who was surrounding him speechless and clenched their hands hard.
"Are you testing us, Mr Hero?" asked the man standing in front of Weng Lou.
His face, although not showing his emotions and anger, but his eyes that had started to turn red could reflect what he was feeling at this moment.
Weng Lou laughed softly in return. He turned his head towards Du Zhe who was just silent in his place.
"What about you, Du Zhe. Do you want revenge after being a slave for a long time?" weng Lou asked Du Zhe in the same tone as when he asked the man in front of him.
Du Zhe with his innocent face blinked several times trying to digest the intent of Weng Lou's question before finally understanding the question.
"Yes, Teacher! I want revenge!" his reply in a stern voice yet still remained with his innocent face, was very contrary to what he had just said.

The sound of gnashing of teeth rang out and everyone's gazes immediately changed.

Weng Lou smiled hearing that and could not help but laugh.

It seemed that his decision to let the slaves stay alive was already right.
