Towards Eternity

Towards Eternity
Ch 492's. The existence of Lin Mei

While Weng Lou and Weng Ying Luan were appearing on two islands that were very far from Black Sand Island, far from Black Sand Island as well, precisely far from the other islands, the Black Sand Island, there is an island untouched by man.

On this island, plants and animals all grew and developed well, and there was even almost no dispute going on between the ferocious beasts living in them.

No humans lived inside this island, creating a very peaceful situation. Perhaps the word that humans are always making all the damage and destruction can be proven on this island where without humans, this island becomes an island where all animals live in peace.

In the middle of the island, there is a giant volcano that has a very wide crater and hot lava that will always erupt every few weeks. This eruption is not large, and quite safe, so it does not interfere with animal or plant life on this island.

While the animals enjoy their peaceful life, inside the crater of the volcano, a bright blue light appears that makes the volcano look like it gives off light when viewed from the outside.

The animals outside the mountain started to storm because of this. The howls and roars of the ferocious beasts echoed throughout the island. They thought that there was a disaster that was about to happen, which was nothing but a volcanic eruption.

But it's not really like that.

Just as the blue light disappeared, two shadowy figures fell down from the top of the crater, and plunged freely into the mountain crater filled with hot lava.

The figure of the two shadows was a girl along with a giant deer-shaped beast. Both of them were unconscious, and when they stayed several tens of meters away, they were both awakened by the heat from the lava inside the volcano.

The figure of the girl who was none other than Lin Mei opened her eyes the first time, and immediately screamed in shock because she was freefalling into a volcano.

"Ohhhh!!!! You!!!!!! Your daughter is going to die!!!" his involuntary scream created a pair of fire wings on his back, and he stopped moving down.

On the other hand, the giant deer, Jiaolo was still plunging into the mountain. He currently does not know what is going on, but it is known that his life is in danger.

From under his four feet, a strong wind blew, and made him float in the air.

Sweat pours heavily on him, when he saw that the distance himself with the lava on the mountain was only 5 meters. The hot temperature of the lava he could feel from his current place.

He turned his head upwards, and saw the figure of Lin Mei hovering using the wings on her back.

"The Phoenix girl.

Before long, he recalled what had happened before in the arena of the match. As a bright light covered them, what he knew of his consciousness began to fade, and when he woke up again he almost died of being swallowed by the lava.

While thinking why he could be in this place, Lin Mei's figure was seen moving down towards him and stopping beside him.

"Hey, where are we?" ask Lin Mei.

"How do I know? Even I almost died a moment ago, it is impossible for me to know what this place is," Jiaolo replied while holding back his sense of regret.

The Phoenix blood on Lin Mei forced her to remain submissive to him. If not for that, he would have already kicked Lin Mei's butt, and made her drown in the hot lava.

"Damn, we might even be thrown into a place like this. It must have been Lou!" said Lin Mei annoyed.

Just as he was still speaking, suddenly above the mountain crater, several ferocious beasts were seen sticking out their heads, and looking at Lin Mei and Jiaolo who were inside the mountain.

"Ah, that's the Phoenix! The Phoenix has returned!!"

One of the beasts exclaimed, and made Lin Mei and Jiaolo's attention immediately directed towards him.

"Hm? What's he sayin?" Lin Mei looked confused.

On the other hand, the other ferocious beasts also exclaimed at Lin Mei as 'The Phoenix', and suddenly kneeled respectfully towards her.

"ah! The eternal Phoenix! We have been waiting for your return for a long time! We, your generals are ready to have a life-and-death fight with you like two hundred years ago!"

"What a blessing from our god to see you again, the Phoenix!"

Hearing the brushes, Lin Mei put on a strange face, and looked at each other with Jiaolo beside her.

"You..You know what they are?"

Fanrong Island.

The morning after the appearance of Weng Lou on this island, his condition had recovered as before thanks to his pills that he had prepared long before the Free Martial Tournament began.

It was seen that he was soaking in the river, under the waterfall while Du Zhe was looking at him with curious eyes from the riverbank.

"Hey, are you a Martial Practitioner?" asked Du Zhe with his innocent face.

Weng Lou who was half his head in the water nodded, confirming Du Zhe's question.

Du Zhe's gaze immediately changed and he smiled broadly at Weng Lou's reply.

"So did you destroy the mountain and split the sea? Or shooting stars? Or can you revive a dead person?!"

Suddenly Du Zhe asked excitedly to Weng Lou. Hearing that question, Weng Lou accidentally choked on the river water which instantly made him almost dead because of it.

He jumped back to the ground, spewing out the water he had accidentally swallowed, then looked at Du Zhe strangely.

"Who did you hear Martial Practitioners can do all that?"

"Aibs at the camp told me! They say a true Martial Practitioner can crush a mountain in one blow, and can split the ocean with the sweep of his hand! I.. I also heard that there are Martial Practitioners who can revive the dead, so.I...."

"Ok ok, just get there. To destroy a mountain in a single hit was clearly only doable by those who had been at the 7th stage Soul Unification realm and above. As for splitting the ocean, it was even impossible for those at the Soul Mastery realm to do so.

To revive a dead man, I think you're wrong to ask. It obviously could only be done by a god," replied Weng Lou who dried up his body using his Qi.

Seen a disappointed look from Du Zhe after hearing it, he got up and walked away from Weng Lou.

"Hey, where are you going??? Here are many wild animals, you will be eaten by them if you go into the forest."

"I've been here for a year, and have never been attacked by a single beast on this road!"

Du Zhe waved his hand and disappeared in the distance.

Weng Lou only looked at her for a moment, then busied himself by changing his extremely dirty clothes.

Last night he had gotten enough information regarding where he was at this moment thanks to the information from Du Zhe. The boy, looked completely unafraid of him despite the existence of a super-large Black Ape Fighter with him.

He was also the one who brought Weng Lou alone last night to his place behind the waterfall. Weng Lou was quite impressed when he found out that the boy could become a Martial Practitioner without practicing martial arts in the slightest.

"Fanrong Island looks like I can't go home anytime soon" said Weng Lou, who breathed.

He stood up and then stomped his feet on the ground. Weng Lou leaped high in the air, and looked at the location where the Black Ape Fighter was located. Nimblely Weng Lou kicked the air with the help of his Qi, and he immediately moved towards the ape.

Weng Lou did not know whether this was Yang Guang or Weng Ying Luan, which was obviously a condition of these apes really bad.

Broken bones, bruises, and burns are absolutely the perfect combination to make someone feel tormented. He could feel what this Black Ape Fighter was feeling.

"Oi, wake. It's morning" said Weng Lou, who patted the ape's chest.

Before long the ape woke up, and stared at the figure of Weng Lou above his body.

"Man..haah....what happened...where?" The monkey tried to talk to Weng Lou with all the energy he had right now.

"The place we're in right now is called Fanrong Island, did you find out about that?"

"Fanrong Island...?"

The ape shook his head, he had only heard that name this time. He had grown and grown up on Black Sand Island, so he knew absolutely nothing about the outside world.

"Huh, so you don't know either? Oh, that's okay."

Although Weng Lou said so, but his facial expression was completely inversely proportional. He looked very disappointed because the monkey did not know anything about Black Sand Island.

Silent, Weng Lou then took out a pill of considerable size from inside his storage room, then threw it into the monkey's mouth, which was reflexively directly swallowed by him.

Gleek....

"What was that?"

"Special healing pills for wild beasts. I bought it at the Medicinal House, it was quite expensive, but thankfully it was useful as well. I was thinking about throwing it away because it took up space in my storage ring" said Weng Lou.

The monkey was stunned for a moment, he did not understand why Weng Lou gave the pill to him.

Before long, the efficacy of the pill could be felt by the monkey, a warm sensation emerged from his stomach, and slowly the wounds on his body began to heal one by one.

His broken bones also seemed to be starting to reconnect. In less than half an hour, the monkey was able to stand back up and in amazement stared at Weng Lou.

"Human creation is indeed great, even all the wounds on my body are healed all like I've never been hurt before."

"It's nothing, just consider it a prize from me because we hunted you down in the Free Martial Tournament yesterday. I thought the grand prize of the tournament was hidden in you guys, but I saw the prize was inside the storage ring, it seemed like my guess had gone wrong." Weng Lou shrugged both shoulders, walking away leaving the ape alone.

"You're not at all wrong, son, we're part of the tournament prize. Zu Zhang, that bastard had informed us long before the Free Martial Tournament was held.

He said he would use us as a reward for the winners of the famous tournament on Black Sand Island, but we didn't expect it to be like yesterday."

Weng Lou's footsteps stopped, and immediately turned his body. He looked at the monkey with sparkling eyes.

"Then, you're now a-"

"Wait there, son. I'm not saying that if I want to be your mount, I'd rather have an equal relationship, how?"

"Ck, it's better not to. I prefer to travel alone. It's possible that I'll become a famous swordsman whose name will echo in all directions, and my story will probably begin in this place" said Weng Lou, who clicked his tongue.

He turned back, and hurriedly left the monkey in his confusion.

"A strange child" he thought.

***

Weng Lou followed the path traveled by Du Zhe, who then took him to the city where he had previously come from.

Having been told by Du Zhe about this island and about her being a slave, so even Weng Lou did not carelessly show himself in front of people.

He swiftly jumped over the city wall, and landed on the roof of the building.

Taps....

At this time, the atmosphere of the inner city was quite crowded because this was the beginning of their working hours.

The slaves were seen one after another coming out of their tents, and began to do their work after picking up and eating their rations that morning.

The corner of Weng Lou's eyes looked in one direction, where the figure of a child who was none other than Du Zhe was walking among the adults. He held two bakpaos in his hand that seemed to be still warm judging by the smoke billowing over him.

The motion of Du Zhe is very suspicious if observed from the position where Weng Lou is currently located. Before long, Du Zhe was seen clandestinely exiting the city and hurriedly walking through the path that led to the waterfall.

The corner of Weng Lou's lips lifted looking at it, he jumped back from the roof he was on, and landed before Du Zhe.

"Well, it's like it's so good, son." Weng Lou spoke as he rubbed his hands together.

Without answering at all, Du Zhe immediately gave one of the bakpaos in his hand to Weng Lou.

"Here, you haven't eaten, have you? I stole it from one of the soldiers" Du Zhe said innocently.

Weng Lou did not protest at all even though Du Zhe got her from stealing.

"Hey son, how many of you are given bakpaos like this every day?" asked Weng Lou curiously.

"Only three. Morning, afternoon, and night. If we work well in one week, we are sometimes given more."

Three times a day? And only 1 bakpao per person? Isn't that the same as telling them to die slowly?

Du Zhe was still a child, and obviously he needed a lot of food intake in order to develop properly. But he was made a slave, whose food did not satiate him at all.

Glacier.

Weng Lou swallowed the last piece of the bakpao in hand, and cleaned his hand on his shirt. He then unceasingly lifted the apes in Du Zhe's clothes, and immediately jumped up high, then landed in the middle of the city.

With Du Zhe in his hand, he smiled at everyone who currently looked surprised at the presence of his figure.

The soldiers on duty immediately moved and surrounded Weng Lou. Obviously they were very well trained, but that could not make Weng Lou tremble in the least.

In fact, his smile seemed to be getting wider.

"Thanks to your hands, this is a robbery."
