"Stupid! We'll all die if we wait for them! Quickly take control of this damn thing and get me out of this godforsaken city!" snapped the mayor while glaring at the soldier who answered him.
His saliva spurted and landed on the soldier's face. The soldier could only refrain from hitting the fat man before him. This fat man was one of the inner members in the Ying Family. He was the descendant of one of the Elders within the Ying Family who held considerable influence within the inner ranks of the members, so that no one dared to touch him since childhood even though the man often committed many acts of evil that made everyone want to hit his disgusting face.
Holding back his anger, the soldier immediately gave direction to the other soldier and immediately controlled the sword to hover in the air. When the sword had already floated about twenty meters from the ground, from within the residence of the mayor, a woman in her forties with a pretty face was seen running out and holding two boys in both hands. The two children were five and thirteen years old.
When they looked up at the sky and saw that their husband and father had left the three of them, the wife shouted and called for her husband.

"Mom, I know a secret passage that's probably a disgusting old bastard who doesn't even know it. Come on, we'll go down that road" the thirteen-year-old boy told his mother.
His mother looked surprised to hear the words of his eldest son. She wiped her tears and immediately followed her son while bringing her youngest son with her.
The two re-entered the mayor's residence and immediately went out of the city by passing a secret route that the thirteen-year-old boy accidentally discovered a few years ago. She, her mother and sister immediately went through that secret route.
When they reached the end of the secret route, they were thousands of meters away from the city. The moment they came out, they saw the city they were in before, it had now disappeared!
The entire city had been razed to the ground as they escaped through the secret route!
