Ch 657's. Lin Mei (II)
Inside Lin Mei's mother's eyes was a blazing blaze. This was the will of annihilation from the Phoenix Flame.
"Who.... who would dare to interfere in my family business.......?" Mother Lin Mei spoke in a cold voice.
He was one of the few people who saw big brother Lin Mei use crystal powder with an extermination will. The crystal powder with the will of extermination was not something that his daughter could possess without the interference of others.
That crystal powder cannot be made by just anyone, only those from the Lin Family can make it. But that doesn't mean that all family members can do it.
To make a few grains of crystalline powder, it required a person with a Phoenix bloodline within his body. At the very least, the Phoenix bloodline should be within the amount of sixty percent awakened within that person's body.
Also, his Practical Level must be at the Soul Mastery realm, in order to crystallize the will of annihilation within the Phoenix Flame.
The people who were qualified to do so were at least within the ranks of the Elders within the Lin Family. It was just, who, Lin Mei's mother didn't know about it.
"Honey, take our Mei'er to her room. I'll talk to Nei'er from where he got the crystal powder with the will of extermination," said Lin Mei's father as he walked towards Lin Mei's older brother before leaving.
Lin Mei's mother stayed in place for a while, before finally going the other way. Lin Mei inside her carriage seemed to be sleeping soundly, despite not knowing that the next days within the Lin Family would be very heavy.
Inside Lin Nei's room. Lin Nei sat on his bed while staring at his two trembling palms.
His face was currently extremely pale, blood seemed to disappear from his body.
He recalled the previous incident when he used the crystal powder with the will of annihilation to add it into his Phoenix Flame and burn Lin Mei. The feeling of being devastated when she remembered the screams of her innocent little sister, crying out in vain because of her actions.
While in fear, suddenly the door of his room opened. The figure of his father stood in silence and stepped inside.
Lin Nei was speechless looking at her father figure. His mouth was open and he was about to say something but could not. He was too panicked and scared.
His father's gaze fell on him. Blinks. She looked at her daughter's mouth that was shaking as if she wanted to say something.
"Tell me, who gave you that thing?" ask father. There was no angry or disappointed tone of voice from his voice.
Lin Nei gasped for a moment.
"That's the one who gave it to me"
As he was about to speak further, Lin Nei came to a halt. His hands suddenly strangled his own neck. It was not an ordinary giggle, but rather a giggle with the addition of Inner Energy.
"Agh?!" Lin Nei was surprised by his own actions. Both of his eyes turned white. I think he will die in a matter of seconds.
"Bad. Not only did you hurt my little daughter, now you're hurting my oldest daughter?!" Lin Mei's father roared furiously.
The Soul Power of a peak Soul Emperor exploded from his body. His Soul Power instantly covered the entire Lin Family domain on Black Sand Island, even extending slightly out of bounds.
This action of his immediately made the entire Lin Family residence shake violently. The Elders came out of their homes, all the family members who were in the realm of Soul Unification until Soul Mastery, all came out to witness what had really happened.
One of the old-looking Elders frowned, he recognized who the owner of this Soul Power was.
"This is the Soul Power of the Family Head!" yells.
"What's going on?! Is the Family Head fighting a Soul Emperor???" ask the panicked elder. He was making talismans when then the Soul Power of the Family Head responded to him and corrupted the patterns he drew on the talisman paper.
In a moment when people were confused and wondering what was really going on, inside Lin Nei's room, Lin Mei's father closed his eyes and scanned the entire Lin Family's territory on Black Sand Island.
He could actually easily scan the entire Black Sand Island if he wanted to, yet he didn't, instead he didn't want to, yet he didn't want to offend the other forces on Black Sand Island, either, the Weng Family.
After all, this was his family's problem, he didn't want this kind of problem until it was known to outsiders.
"Where are you hiding, you sly little rat!"
His Soul Power seemed to be emitting waves endlessly hang centered from itself. The wave was constantly passing through everything that was in the Lin Family's territory, without the slightest exception.
After a moment of scanning, he found no clues at all. Lin Nei had stopped suffocating herself as her father started to unleash his Soul Power. Obviously the culprit was afraid of getting caught so chose to be careful.
Lin Mei's father's eyes reddened as it held back the anger within her. He wanted to erupt in anger, yet the culprit of this matter he could not find.
After the events of that day, Lin Mei's life changed drastically.
The entire Lin Family members started looking at him with different gazes than before. There was a look of contempt in their eyes that Lin Mei could feel.
Whether it was because he lost the fight against his brother, or because of the burn scars on his face that he could not completely remove using the recovery power of his Phoenix Flame.
His sister was also getting cold to him. He no longer scolded Lin Mei, yet completely ignored her. This was because Lin Nei was afraid that she would injure her little sister even further, thus choosing to distance herself from being immersed in feelings of guilt.
As for his father and mother, their attitude did not change in the slightest, instead seeming more protective of him.
Lin Mei, who was currently in a thin smiling light explosion.
He clearly remembered his brother's gaze as he was about to head towards the Northern Heavens Sect. The gaze contained the loneliness and guilt that he had held back for many years.
Lin Nei punished herself by making herself tormented by the guilt that haunted her all the time.
"If you think about it, I'd really like to talk to my sister for the last time, even if only for a little while. Yes..such a desire where it may be granted."
Lin Mei's hands and feet shattered completely into ashes. Now his body is suffering from a rift.

Tears dripped from Lin Mei's eyes. Those tears were extremely clear and reflected the greenish light that was around Lin Mei.
Just when Lin Mei's entire body was about to disintegrate and turn into ashes, Lin Mei's Phoenix feather floated before her. His eyes glared at the feather. He regretted taking her with him. If only he had not brought it, the Lin Family members in Black Sand Island could have obtained it and used it.
It was possible that the fur would be much more useful to her brother.
Lin Mei's eyes slowly closed and her consciousness slowly disappeared. Little by little his body turned to ashes. He is at the end of his life. The thread is so fragile, and can break at any time.
But that was when the thread tightened and nearly broke off, the light emanated and the thin thread now turned into a thick and strong rope.
Lin Mei who had almost lost her entire consciousness suddenly opened her two eyes and looked at the Phoenix fur before her.
The feather shone in a bright red light, a mixture of orange and red. The green light that was around him vanished without a remnant. The rift and destruction of his body came to a halt.
"Don't give up like that. We keep fighting, generation after generation. Although sometimes we stumble by a large rock that drops us to the ground, we will continue to rise. Wh why? Because we are Phoenix! We are the Destruction Phoenix that will obliterate anything that stands in our way!
As difficult as any obstacle will still be conquered by us! My self in this life, listen to your heart! Let the power of the Phoenix in your body be free from restraints. Don't limit it to the guilt in your heart. Make that guilt a reminder, to keep getting stronger!" Lin Mei shook violently. The voice came out from the Phoenix feather before him.
This must be the will embedded within the Phoenix feather. The will that came from the Head of the Lin Family who became its original owner.
The words that came out from the fur echoed within Lin Mei's head. He did not understand the meaning of the 'my self in this life' that voice said, however she realized that all this time her heart had been constantly bound in guilt feelings to her brother for having stolen the attention of the entire Lin Family when the power of her Phoenix bloodline was awakened and showed a complete bloodline.
That feeling had made him unable to break away from the shackles of the heart, which made the strength of his Phoenix bloodline unable to develop any further.
It was not impossible, but his deepest heart said that he would not. If not for this bloodline, she and her brother would still have a good relationship. His sister will continue to be kind and pamper him like before.
"But a feeling of guilt will not change everything. Only force can do that. Be strong, and prove myself. Prove that I am worthy of this bloodline!"
The shackles in Lin Mei's heart just shattered. The guilt he had all along disappeared.
The source of strength of his Phoenix bloodline was his heart. Inside his heart was embers, this was the source of the Phoenix Flame he had been using all along. The embers were burning in a small flame at first, but when the shackles of Lin Mei's heart were shattered, the embers instantly burned within such a huge flame.
Lin Mei's previously shattered body was now starting to recover. All parts of his body were re-formed. Lin Mei could see all of that with her own eyes.
"Fused with this Phoenix feather, and achieved a power that could prove yourself." A voice came back from that Phoenix feather once again.
Lin Mei unhesitatingly took the feather. He looked at her for a moment before then sticking her in the middle of his chest, right where his heart was.
The feather entered his body, and reached his heart. The flame within his heart came into contact with the Phoenix's fur, and right then and there, a blaze that only existed within his heart suddenly flared out to cover his entire body.
The recovery power that was at work within his body surged in a completely different speed. His hands and feet quickly re-formed. The crack on her disappeared, and she returned to her normal state.
What surprised Lin Mei even more, was that the scar on her face had now disappeared. The scar that covered half of his face for years, finally disappeared and now his face seemed to recover completely.
Now Lin Mei's body was filled with strength. He stared at the source of the green light explosion, the crystal shards still continued to release green light and showed no signs of stopping.
"I don't hate you. In fact, I thank you from the bottom of my heart, the deepest" Lin Mei said.
He closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened his eyes again, both of his eyes turned bright red.
"Destroy."
His words were like simple words, yet once it came out of his mouth, the Phoenix Flame instantly burned the crystal shards and shattered them.
The burst of light slowly faded, and now the form of Lin Mei could be seen by all who were watching the burst of light earlier.
