Episode 22

There was the sound of sobs and Rendy's gaze was fixed towards the corner of the room. Kirana's shadow was crouching hugging her legs below, beside the table while crying. He stepped towards her.

Rendy could see Kirana's body trembling with fear. He leaned over and wanted to see Kirana's face, but he couldn't see her because Kirana's long, unraveled hair had covered her face.

"Let's wake up. You are safe now. I'll make sure it never happens again. And I'll keep it a secret. No one will ever know anything about what happened tonight."  Said Rendy slowly trying to calm down this shock-looking and very messy employee.

Kirana still continued to cry hugging her feet. He was really shocked and scared. Almost his honor was taken by Bima if only Rendy did not come in time to help him.

Coincidentally, Rendy was walking out of the elevator because she wanted to go home. But Rendy saw the figure of Bima who was peeking in the room where Kirana worked like a thief and looked suspicious. Rendy was secretly watching him from a distance.

When he saw that there was a female employee who was overtime out of the room, Rendy squinted her eyes to see who the female employee was but she could not see her face.

Rendy did not know all his employees because he also recently served as President Director at the Pradipta Group. Moreover, the employees in Pradipta Group are so many. It would be difficult to recognize the employees one by one.

When he saw Bima who was peeking at Kirana and followed Kirana's steps towards the pantry, he was surprised by the behavior of Bima who suddenly smothered Kirana from behind and dragged her to one of the office rooms that were dark because the lights were not turned on and then locked the door.

Instantly, Rendy was struck with emotion by seeing him. He immediately stepped up quickly. When he heard Kirana's shout, Rendy immediately broke down his door just once the door kick opened wide.

With a quick step, Rendy immediately gave a bogem and beat Bima all out.

"Let's get up. I'll make sure that that jerk never shows up here or in front of you again." Rendy's words firmly made Kirana slowly raise her head and stare at Rendy with as much as she could.

Rendy frowned and was a little surprised when she saw the familiar face of Kirana.

"You?"

Kirana wiped her tears and her body felt so limp.

Rendy extended a hand to Kirana. "Wake up soon." He looked at Kirana.

Slowly, Kirana also extended her hand, grabbed Rendy's hand and Rendy grasped it tightly then pulled it, helping her to stand up. Kirana's hands felt extremely cold and her body was still trembling.

Rendy took off the suit she was wearing and put it on Kirana. He grabbed her and took her out. Kirana was still silent and lowered her face. He followed Rendy's steps. At least he felt protected by Rendy at the moment.

Rendy walks Kirana to the floor where the room is located because Kirana looks very messy. He did not want anyone to look at Kirana's current state and wonder what had happened to her.

"Let's go in." Said Rendy after opening the door of her room.

Kirana walked in and followed Rendy to the sofa. Rendy helps Kirana sit on the couch and calls Beni back to her room.

"Yes Boss?" Beni asked as she entered Rendy's room.

"You checked all the CCTV footage and you deleted all the footage two hours ago on the third floor!" Tell Rendy to Beni.

"Ready Boss!" Beni replied then rushed off towards the CCTV room.

Kirana looked even more pale and her body was also growing weaker. Slowly Kirana leaned her body against the sofa as she felt her gaze blur. He also fainted.

Rendy turned to look at him and saw Kirana who was lying on the sofa, he approached her. "Austenance!" Rendy called.

"She fainted or slept?" He murmured to ask himself.

Rendy felt anxious about Kirana's current state. He called Beni to get the car ready. Without waiting long after Beni checked into the CCTV room and deleted the footage as ordered by the Boss, Beni immediately prepared the car and headed for Rendy's room.

"Boss, the car's ready." Beni told Rendy respectfully.

Rendy immediately carried Kirana and brought her down to the parking lot specifically for her car.

Beni opens the door for Rendy and closes it after Rendy enters with Kirana. He immediately got into the wheel and drove his car.

"Where are we going, boss?" Beni asked as she glanced at Rendy from the rearview mirror in front of her.

"Apartment." Answer Rendy briefly.

Without asking much more, Beni drove her car to the apartment that was recently purchased by Rendy a week before Olivia came to the homeland to catch up with him.

In about fifteen minutes, the car was parked in the basement of Rendy's apartment parking lot. Beni immediately came down and opened the door for his Boss. Rendy serega got down and carried back Kirana who was still unconscious and took her into the elevator to her apartment unit followed by Beni behind her.

Arriving at his apartment unit, Beni helps open the door by pressing a few digits of the number he already knows from Rendy.

"Ben, please call the doctor right now." Said Rendy after laying Kirana on her king-size bed.

"Every Boss." Beni answered and he immediately went out to contact the doctor who had long been a doctor of the Pradipta family trust.

Rendy was still standing beside her bed staring at Kirana. Inwardly, she praised Kirana's natural-looking beauty without excessive make-up. Besides being beautiful, Kirana also looks sweet.

Rendy sighed and rubbed her face. Why am I even thinking about him? He muttered then he turned around and walked out of his room.

"Boss, I just called the doctor. Maybe the doctor will be there soon." Said Beni who saw Rendy come out of the room.

"Okay, thanks." Rendy then walked into the kitchen to make coffee.

Beni followed from behind and watched his Boss. "Do you want to make coffee boss?" Ask Beni.

"Hmm, yeah. Can you make coffee?" He answered Rendy and asked back while looking at her.

"Can Boss." Answer Beni.

"If you did that." Rendy said to Beni casually and he turned to walk into the tv room and sat there.

Beni was fixated for a moment while staring at the steps of his boss who did not make coffee instead told him to. "Basic Boss. I think he wants to buy me coffee." Beni muttered with a sigh then immediately made coffee for Boss Rendy as well for him.

Finished making coffee, Beni put coffee for Rendy on the table. He then sat down on the other side of the sofa while sipping his coffee.

TONG TING! TONG TING!

The bell rang and Beni immediately put down her coffee and rushed to open the door.

"Good night. I'm Doctor Fahri. Did you just call me?" Greet the middle-aged doctor very kindly.

"Yes right. Let's go to the Doctor."  Beni replied and then let Doctor Fahri come in respectfully.

Doctor Fahri then enters and Rendy approaches him with a smile when she sees him.

"Om Fahri's? How are you Om? Do you remember me?" Sapa Rendy who has known Doctor Fahri since he was a child.

"Rendy? You Rendy? Bagas' boy?" Asked Doctor Fahri by widening his gaze on Rendy looking surprised.

"True Om." Rendy replied with a chuckle at the shock of doctor Fahri, her Papa's good friend.

"Oh my goodness! You are so different now!" Dr. Fahri cried while patting Rendy's arm and then they hugged each other.

"Om good! You're getting hotter." Doctor Fahri continued while taking off his embrace and patting Rendy's arm back with a widened smile.

"Thank you Om." Rendy said with a smile.

"O yeah, who's sick? You don't look sick." Asked Doctor Fahri immediately reminded Rendy that the purpose he called the Doctor here to check on Kirana.

"Ah yes. Come on come with me."

Rendy immediately invited Doctor Fahri into her room.

Beni chose to sit back on the couch watching television while enjoying his coffee.

Doctor Fahri Kembali was surprised when he saw a woman lying on the bed in Rendy's room.

"Rendy, who is he? Is she your wife? When did you get married? Why didn't Bagas and Nadine tell Om?" Asked Doctor Fahri by looking at Rendy seriously.

"Om, I'm not married!" Firmly Rendy replied quickly making Doctor Fahri surprised again.

"What's? Then who is he? She's not your sister Nayla, is she?" Asked back doctor Fahri while frowning staring at Rendy feeling confused.

"not Om. She's..."  Rendy answered and was silent for a moment and then rubbed his nape because he was confused what to answer to Doctor Fahri. Do I have to tell Om Fahri?
